Unusual experiences in the office elevator
I'm not complaining, but this is something entirely new to me. It doesn't have anything to do with bras, and I wasn't even wearing one today when this happened, although I was, nevertheless, still quite modest. I was riding down in the elevator with an older man and we were talking about how nice the weather had been the past couple of days. And when he stepped off at his stop, he said "enjoy the beautiful day, sweetie." I was completely nonplussed. I've never had a guy say that to me. It did put a big smile on my face afterward.
Yesterday, whilst I was awaiting the elevator, a random guy came up to me and started talking with me about my high heels. He wondered if they made my back hurt, because his ex-girlfriend used to wear heels but had to quit because they made her back hurt. Très bizarre.
I know it means I must be doing something right with respect to my appearance, but damn! It feels like I've been tossed into the deep end of the pool!
