Fauve Chloe, difference in cup fit between colourways or sister sizes?
So, I have 3 Fauve Chloe bras (vertical seam, non-padded).
Their cup shapes are not identical!! I´m wondering if it is due to size or colourway... does anybody know?
I opted for sister sizes of my usual 28F, and due to availability + price I got:
mink 34D
peacock blue 32DD
purple 30E
I have shallow boobs and wide + tall root. Peacock blue and purple fit okay in the cups and they seem identical in shape. The mink however is very much different, its cups are deeper and narrower. I get droopy shape in the mink colourway
All bras´cups seem to be the same in volume though. (btw the cups are maybe a little too small for me, minor quadboob, but that´s really not even an issue here).
Don´t you just hate it when this happens :-/

I'm not completely sure whether such differences exist between Chloe's colorways/sister sizes, but it might be just a regular difference between sister sizes you are running across.
Sister sizes are supposed to hold the same volume and be the same size - however, some manufacturers decide to slightly adapt the shapes between the sizes. The cups may be shallower or narrower. This might be the issue here, but I'm not completely sure to be honest.
Also, band width makes a huge difference in the fit of the cups (band pulling the wires wider, etc.) and it's sometimes difficult to make sure a too long band is pulled as tight as you need it without irreversibly altering the band.
^Good points, maybe it´s regular sister size-difference. It´s just strange, because I have altered many maany sister-sized bras from many brands, and I have never experienced such a difference in cup shape. Usually there is small difference in wire width, or no difference at all.
Btw, I have altered the bands irreversibly, so I think the band is pulled as intended, when wearing. Even when not wearing the bras, when I compare the cups, the mink 34D cups truly are deeper.
