Interesting article
I found this article on Ewa's fb page. I had to use google translate to read it, and its a pretty bad translation, but its still pretty interesting.
The point of the article is to explain to Europeans that in America, women only wear bland underwear and bras, because anything other than totally plain underthings marks you as a slut. The author keeps reminding her reader that Americans think lingerie is only for the male gaze, and not something women do for themselves to feel pretty.
I have to admit, I really felt more that way before I started hanging out here. I finally really realize that we like to wear clothes that we like . .. all our clothes. I mean, i also like when my husband likes my bras but - i always end up putting on a bra I know he likes . . .and then he's cranky and tired . . and the days he ends up amorous, I'm wearing old, ill-fitting clothes. So it really makes no difference to him most of the time.

How interesting! I'll be sure to give that a read! I remember when I was younger, when I would wear tank tops and my strap would peak out people would say "Your bra is showing" And I think "yeah no shit, I'm wearing one...that happens"
