Why does the band of my CK Ellace curve downwards instead of being straight like my other bands? When I lay it on top of my So Free unlined balconette and line the wires up, the band of the Ellace curves downwards like ( on its side as as sad face and if I put the bottom edges together, then the top section of the band is kind of gappy almost like it’s got too much material. Thoughts? I do like my Ellace, but this aspect has been puzzling me for a while...

all of my bra bands curve: maybe because it's a U-band or sometimes called a ballet back band. the black bra looks like it might be a "regular" straight back band, is it?
i don't own any "straight/regular" band bras. i have a super flared ribcage.
Maybe they made the circumference of the lower part smaller to account for a somewhat tapered or V-shaped ribcage?
