Bra bulge!

I'm thin so this is probably more of a muscle tone issue (I have MD so I can't really develop a ton of muscle and getting any extra takes a LOT of work) but I have bra bulge with ALL of my bras. Even the looser 32 bands (I measure a 28). It's always the area right where the band meets the strap in the back. By the shoulder blade. Does anyone else have this issue? A lady at boutique told me to grab that area and pull it forward. That doesn't work for me. There is only so much I can grab before it's just bone and even then I still bulge.

I would add a photo to give an example of what I'm talking about but I'm not sure how to do that here without actually adding a bra and doing a fit request. I just want to show a specific photo. I made a Photobucket album in one bra before before and even though it was password protected they removed it.

  • I feel your pain! I too have the same problem, and it's VERY frustrating. My tight ribcage measures 29.5", my comfortably snug is 31", and I have a defined V-shaped back because my shoulders are wide and my waist is proportionately fairly small (used to be much more pronounced when I was younger...but it's less now that I'm into my menopause years.)
I swoop & scoop all the way around my shoulder blades and it does help...that is, until I stand upright! If I try a larger band (to reduce pressure against the skin) I don't get good support. And so far, I have not found 'The Perfect Bra'.
So, I hope you find an answer here...because I need one too!

  • I think you might just try accepting that your body is made of flesh. This is probably the firmest your body will ever be. Bulges become the shape of old age. one tiny bulge is something only you care about, no one else will think anything
