Budapest, Zagreb or Sarajevo Bra Shops?

This is a long shot, but does anyone know bra shops in these cities? Or if these Balkan countries are similar to Eastern Europe in the way they design & market lingerie? All that works for my immediate projection and narrow roots is Polish and Lithuanian bras so far. Couldn't convince the BF to go to Poland on vacation just to watch me try on bras, lol!

  • You're travelling to a bra desert I'm afraid. The general supply in shopping centres are matrix sized brands like Tezenis, Yamamay, H&M...etc. Triumph and Anita are considered the plus size alternative and can be found at specialised shops. Ex-Yugoslavian countries have Lisca , a Slovenian manufacturer, so you could find their shops in Zagreb. I used to buy this brand before my bra-awakening. These countries you are visiting do not have a bra production of their own. Hungary might have one or two smaller brands, but I honestly have no clue if they are worth researching. Hungary has some webshops that sell UK and/or Polish brands, but from what I see they only sell, or mostly sell online. Your best bet to find anything is Budapest. After about an hour of online search I found one webshop offering Polish bras that might have a brick and mortar base. Wrote an e-mail to them and will let you know when they answer. Unfortunately all my friends living in Hungary are bra-illiterate, so I have no-one to ask for any personal recs. If you are including Rijeka, Opatija or the Istrian peninsula to your itinerary, we can have a coffee. :)

  • Hi erispe ! We're not going to fit Rijeka into this trip, sadly, we have just a 8 hr layover in Zagreb, but next time for sure!! Thank you SO MUCH for the details and incredible research - I can't believe you did all that, even wrote emails, WOW! <3 + <3
