i think I might be on the right track with Curvy Kate

Just got in my Curvy Kate Florence in 32gg and 32H, as well as Dreamcatcher in 32GG.

Here are my preliminary results:
Dreamcatcher is awful on me. The band was too big and the cups too small. I'll reassess when I have more time but there seemed to be shape issues at play as well as size.

Florence 32GG - this is my magical wire size. The gore is about as high as I can tolerate but the width and wing height are absolutely perfect. Unfortunately the cups are a little too small. Slight quadding on my small boob; lots on my bigger boob. My Center fullness on my big boob is pushing the wire out slightly at the gore.

32H - the wires are bordering on oppressive, ha ha. The cups would sort of fit but there is major in-cup quadding on the diagonal seam. Does this loosen with time or is it just the way this bra is cut?

  • Which colorway in Florence did you get? I got in-cup quadding in the blush colorway but not the others.

One thing that can cause that is having your areola on the seam. If you can lift it above or below the seam that can help the quad.

  • This is helpful. :-) Now, your searches can include a maximum gore height, wire width, and wing height. Yay!
