Bravissimo Bra Owners

Hi! I was wondering what people thought of this brand. I'm in *love* with the Isla bra, and the light blue colorway is ALL on sale and has my sizes in each accessory. Are they narrow, wide, true to size, comfortable, etc?

  • Hi, I have many Bravissimo bras of varying fit levels so thought I might be able to help!

I find their unpadded balconettes to run true to size in band and cup, though the wires are on the wider side, personally I find them a similar width to Panache Jasmine. If the Isla bra is similar to Alana/Daisy/Darla etc. it's probably better for full on bottom as the cup is not stretchy and the lace panel flattened my top half but had lots of room at the bottom, though not much immediate projection. Of course, bras fit everyone differently so please don't be put off by my experience! If you love the bra there's no harm in trying it, it might be perfect for you!

In terms of other shapes, their unpadded halfcups have lots of immediate projection though they tend to run a cup size small and a back size large, and have very wide wires and strap placements. Their Satine bras and sister cuts lack immediate projection and some find they need to go up a cupsize, and the bands ride up very quickly, though I found the next size down was too tight without an extender.

Sorry for the essay! I hope at least some of this was useful :)

  • Yes it was, thanks! I like the look of the Satine but I need as much immediate project as possible. The longline looks especially shallow. I figure their unpadded balconette would fit similarly to Freya's.
