Bra fitting help » Spilling out on Sides and top of elomi sachi: shape mismatch or wrong cup size?
Elomi » Sachi Plunge Bra (4350) » 34G 34:9
Okay so: it just came in the mail today, tried it on and the band is huge on me but now that I've adjusted my boobs into the cup it feels like more of a hug, the cups fit BEAUTIFULLY, no lower cup empty space, my breasts are ALL THE WAY IN HOLY SHIT 😭, but they're just a smidge small and I can feel where my breast tissue is being pinched, what sizes should I try next? Are there any bras with similar cuts to Sachi? 😭
The band is now riding high, I feel like if i alter it I'll have even more spillage, the center gore is tacking more than it has than any other bra that ive owned but i can still fit my finger tip in the top and push it away.
What could i possibly be breast type wise because I've been trying to figure out for awhile and it seems to be a crapshoot.

helpfulIf you love this bra, get a 32H! One cup larger and one band smaller. It may be a bit too wide but hey, it’s a great bra and looks good on you!
My theory about your shape is that you have a lot of higher set breast tissue, so your breasts are more spread vertically over a larger area. My breasts are attached in a very small spot and get big from there. Yours are probably attached to a broader root area, especially vertically. You are probably also full on top.
If true, Elomi bras are made for you- their fit models tend to be built the same way (although perhaps less full on top).
Good luck! You’re on the right path.

DammitMorty I cannot figure out my root width. How can you tell? I have a lot of migrated side tissue. Can you tell if you lean down and see where they hang from? I'm mystified.

greenfuse It's easy to tell if you push your breast tissue back towards your armpit with one hand, you should be able to see the root bulging outwards, I then usually get a marker because sometimes it's trickier to tell by just feeling alone and trace, you should be able to to tell where your root ends by doing that as well. Narrow roots tend to look like they attach to the chest wall whereas wide roots appear to wrap around, under your arms. Another issue you'll probably run into with narrow roots is having empty space at the sides of a bra that otherwise fits perfectly, this could also happen if you're center full as well so keep this in mind, whereas wide roots would probably experience wires seeming to not go back far enough even in the correct size resulting in them cutting into breast tissue, sizing up to the next and the cups obviously being too big. You may also have difficulties getting all of your breast tissue to fill the bottom of the cup (depending on how wide your roots are) because the wires aren't wide enough, this can also be caused due to immediate projection - not having enough projection at the Apex/lower portions so the same thing ends up happening, FOT boobs in a bra that has an unforgiving top section, or tall breasts.
I'm going to try and bend the wires a bit, after wearing it for five hours I can already feel the gore digging in so when I took it off I had marks on my boobs from where it'd been resting 😅 not fun. I'm not quite sure without a bra, but in a bra that's close to fitting/supportive my boobs act full on bottom or close to
