Curvy Kate » Gia Balcony Bra (CK2101) » 32H 32:11
I'm really starting to prefer the feel of Curvy Kate over Panache/Cleo/Freya. Not sure if it's just that my shape works well with the line or what. This bra feels good but I'm wondering if I need the next size up in the cup? Plus the band is a bit too snug and I need to use an extender. So would I be better off with 32HH or 34H?
You can see a little bit of spillage in one of the images.

helpfulI'm sorry, I know the Gia is a super cute bra but I don't think the design is going to work out for you. As you've observed, both band and cup are a bit too small, so technically you would need to size up in at least the cup or maybe both, but there's gonna be a problem if you do that... Look at how wideset the straps are in this size and how they are already in your armpits. Larger bands and cups come with even greater strap separation, so this issue is only going to be accentuated and it's definitely going to affect fit. Even now, you can already see how the cups are kind of pointing south on you because the strap placement is not centered enough for the middle of each cup to get any uplift.

If it helps you feel any better... even now that I totally know what works and what my size is, if I'm trying to find a new bra that isn't a model I already have, I have to try 12-15 before finding one that works. It's just tricky. This is why corsetry used to be custom-made!

helpfulYou're definitely getting some quadding going on and it makes it a little difficult for me (I'm new at this) to tell if the shape is actually working for you or not. Off hand, I'd say the shape is not working, because to me you have fullness on top as well as on bottom, and the cup is cutting off the upper portion of your breasts.
You probably should size up in the band, but I don't think a single cup size increase (via sister sizing) is going to be enough. But that's just my observation and opinion.

helpfulI'm not sure lift is even possible for me. They are so deflated and low hanging. It's beyond depressing. Thanks though

I look the same in curvy kate - it's the infamous upside down 7 shape in profile. You look like you have full on top boobs like me. It's hard to find bras that work, but I can recommend the panache jasmine and the cleo marcie. These give a high, round, narrow look, which I find more flattering than the east-west downwards pointing look I get in a lot of bras. Ewa michalak are great, too.

I'm having such an awful time :-(
I feel like a good fit is so close...but still so far away.
I just don't know what to try next.
Thanks for your help guys.
