Issue resolved
Purchased the Tia and it’s awesome!
Original problem
Okay the fit in the cup is great but for me I can clearly see a difference in my cup sizes, especially when I wear a t-shirt but my husband said it only slightly looks uneven. For me, of course I can see far more unevenness ( I do have a bra cookie I can use). So from this style I think I've found my true size at 34G (or 34FF depending on the bra). Unfortunately the fabric is uncomfortable and rubs into my arm on the strap and also the wire pokes me under the arm when I sit down. The band fits fabulously and I loved that part. I did feel like a little bit of my shoulders were carrying the weight. I definitely need a full coverage type bra so that I don't spill out so plunge are definitely not for me.
My next step is to try Elomi but what size would be suggested? 34G or 34FF?

helpfulWe might have had this discussion before regarding another bra... I know I sound like a broken record.. but have you tried loosening the straps more (to address the strap and wing-related discomfort)? Most people start out their search for optimal size/style wearing their straps too tight cos that's what they previously were forced to do if they wanted to get any uplift during all the years they were wearing too-large bands.
As for the asymmetry, I have shape and size asymmetry which at my current body fat level is a healthy 1 cup difference, but I find even so I'm really the only one who notices, because other people honestly aren't looking for it! I try to love both boobies the same In these photos I'd say the only pic where it could even remotely draw any notice is the bird's eye view shot in #2 due to the difference in cup wrinkles and let's face it, few birds are looking down at our bosoms when they fly by!

I have this bra and I think it's that the straps are too stretchy for comfort so there's a lot of bouncing. It's fine for lighter breasts but not good for heavier ones.

helpfulTry Elomi Tia in 34G. The wire width should be similar to this bra.

Also Elomi Morgan in the same size. Sadly they don't make a cup size down.

I was looking at order history and I've tried the Elomi Lyndsey ages ago in 36FF and that was last August and I've lost some weight since then. My only issue with the Lyndsey was the top of the cup fabric was itchy. I tried the Matilda Plunge in 36FF and 36G. I wanted to try the Elomi Smoothing Seamless Bra (tried before in 36F) because that's the style I really feel comfortable in.
Would another brand be better? At this point, I'm not expecting miracles. Just a decent fit.

How did the Matilda fit, do you remember? I don't think you would like the smoothing seamless- it's very wide and shallow and your breasts are quite projected.
You can also try the plunges- Jodi, Jenna, Lottie, Maya, Danielle, and Kim. For me I got the best fit with them in the same size as my curvy kate bras.
They struggle to make bras for us short rooted projected women. I tried 150+ bras before I found a few I liked. The fact you liked Tropics makes me think you might like Elomi Tia and the plunges which are my best fit, with Tropics/Vegas second, especially since you find the straps and band to be of lower quality. Elomi materials are really good.
Oh! Try Elomi Amelia too, it's more of a molded cup and it's nice and short. You might even try it in a 34FF as the cups are nice and stretchy. I find it's great for my assymetry after I've altered it (gore is too tall for me in 40HH).

helpfulTry looking at the elomi you are considering and comparing the cup depth measurement to this bra. Alos compare cup width and height, tho thats not quite is important. however, the poking in the underarm is either because of wing height or cup width, usually. Like, either the wire is too far out so its in your underarm where it shouldnt be, or you just need a slightly lower bra on the side so it doesnt poke you. Tho also I had one bra that only poked me on my smaller side, like the tension on teh cup wasnt enough to hold the wire where it should be.
In general, tho, I think Elomi run wider.

I had some success with elomi previously. Except the ones I tried were a bit itchy in fabric.

If you are getting poked in the side, then your band is most likely too large. I would say from the shoulders alone that the straps are too far apart. I had tried Curvy Kate but find the cups are too small. If you try Elomi, then remember that their bras run large. I am usually a 36 in the band but in Elomi I'm a 34. Take your actual measurements with Elomi and try a plunge version instead. I personally don't care for balconette bras because they dig into my armpits. Since I'm 5' plunge works best for my torso. Best of luck. I would try an e in Elomi which is a f in US standards. I think it's the type of bra. It just doesn't support you correctly. I would go with a 36 ddd or f which is an e.

Yes! I did adjust the straps lower and tighter.
