I'm trying to measure the bottom of my gores from now on since it makes a big difference for me in fit. The measurement will be just above the elastic, from the edge of the wire channel straight across to the other wire channel. The bottom measurement here is 1.2" (doubled from 0.6" at the top) and it is magnificent!
