I ordered this bra from Sam at Broad Lingerie in Toronto over Black Friday. It finally arrived yesterday! She made ordering a custom sized EM bra effortless. I highly recommend her.

I was a bit worried about whether or not this bra about fit because the 60G opium I tried previously was about half a size too small. However - this bra is clearly magical -it fits perfectly. The cup depth and height measurements for this bra are slightly larger than the Opium. I have no idea which one is the outlier and which one is the standard. Regardless I am so relieved that this one fits. ...

This bra fits similarly to the other CHPs I have tried. The band is pleaseantly firm on the first hook. The band is knitwear, not the double layer with lace, so it will likely stretch. I am happy that I went with the 60 instead of the 65 in this model.

The cups are narrow and deep. However the wires feel similar in width to my 65Gs - slightly wider than the 60G Opium. This is not a problem for me, but may be if you need very very narrow wires.

The detachable straps add a little wow factor to the bra. They are very comfortable and totally adjustable. They do not cut into my tissue or gap. I doubt I would wear these anytime other than date night, but it's nice to have the option to transform a daytime bra into a nighttime bra.

The gore is low and very comfortable. It is the perfect width for my average set breasts. But may be a bit wide for those who are very close set.

The straps as always are too wide set. I will alter these by moving them inward 1cm. This alteration greatly improves the comfort of this bra.

In summary, this bra looks like every other black lace and nude knitwear EM bra (yawn). Despite the lack of creativity this bra is totally worth it given its impeccable fit.

    • Looks great! I think this one looks better than the plunge.

Sovavosi I agree! I dont love the PL version. I do wish it came in another colour though. I would love a navy one instead.

    • 1

Navy would be lovely. You might be able to get a fabric switch out for more money. Her CHP and PL selection currently are making me sad.

    • 1

Agreed. Like we need more black bra. I need colour!!!

    • 1

I might have to ask Madga if I can order this with navy lace instead. That would be stunning

"Any colour you want, so long as it is black."

      Lol.

      Looks gorgeous!

It looks like a perfect fit, hooray! ! :-)

      Thanks Sonya and MamaPagan.

Now I just have to figure out whether or not this is a 'standard' fitting 60G. There is so much variation in the measurements, it is hard to know whether the Opium or this bra is the outlier.

Ewa's signature consistently inconsistent strikes again! I hope you can easily figure it out. For me, it seems to be a range variant, and I am still trying to figure out what "normal" is. 😖😬😖

    • 2

MamaPagan 'normal' is overrated in every arena except pricey (custom) bras

    • 1

      Haha! Oh so true rachaelll.

This is absolutely gorgeous on you! I could be wrong, but I think the CHP Cappuccino in general runs slightly larger than other styles in the same cut. I had the same experience with the older version when I bought it second hand, and I ended up doing some alterations to make it fit. Feel free to check it out on my profile :)

    • I do love the beige and black of this. But I would also love to see many other colours. Navy, green, burgundy/crimson, purple, teal....

    • 1

And I think that it looks great on you!

    • 1

Yes Calluna! Teal or powder blue lace over a Navy base. I would love a Purple lace over a Green base but Kaśka told me no saying it wouldn't look good....😖.... Honestly it would even be nice to see a pastel pink over a burgundy just to spice things up a bit.

This looks really good on you. I actually ordered the CHP cappuccino at one point because I liked the looks of it, but yeah... fresh colours would look nice. I did notice that it ran larger too. I ordered it in 65FF, and I also ordered the CHP red wine in 65FF. The red wine fit me, but the Cappuccino was too big. I'm sure she used the same design for this bra, so I wouldn't be surprised if this one ran larger too.

Wilderness1 I love the red wine! I wish she still made some of the vibrant coloured CHPs

I love this bra! The band is VERY tight, so depending on my mood and how much I ate that day I sometimes wear it with an extender on the tightest hook (extenders always extend too much for me, even as tight as possible). I also wear it with cookies because I get a little gapping on top if I don’t — this could totally be fixed by tightening the straps if the straps weren’t like seven inches away from the rest of the bra. And yes, these are for sure the notorious ultra wide Ewa Michalak straps. The underwires sit very close to my IMF and are ... perfectly narrow for my larger/slightly wider side. This is the closest to plain black bra I have that’s both comfortable and fits, and I really like it! It functions as a fully black bra. I also like the removable extra straps, though one of the clips wasn’t open enough to attach where it was supposed to, and I had to grab a pair of pliers. No biggie, but it seemed odd since all the other hooks on the attachable straps were fine. The bra is comfortable to wear other than the wide-set straps, and I’m really happy with it!

    • Do the little removable straps help keep the main bra straps more centered and out of your armpits at all? I know for some Elomis and Curvy Kates the strappy styles can have that advantage.
What kind of extender are you using--does it have a piece of elastic in the middle or does it just look like the rectangular elements at the ends of a bra band, no elastic? (Does that make sense lol)

    • Fantastic!

    • wendybien so sorry, I suddenly got super busy. I haven't worn the bra with the removable straps very often at all because they're irritating to attach when they're removable, unlike the extra straps on my CH Cherry (though I do appreciate that they are removable). I don't believe they really help, though, since in order for them to do any adjusting of the main straps I would probably have to adjust them tighter than I prefer.
I honestly just ordered the first bra extenders I saw on Amazon. They do have elastic, and it's irritating because every time I use one on any of my bras the band starts fitting like a 32. I may order different ones -- I'd love recommendations if you have any, and I'm not attached to ordering specifically from Amazon!
