Freya Jasmine Meadow is one I've seen around and had been curious about for a while, but weirdly enough there hasn't been a single entry here on Bratabase. I decided to take the plunge when I saw the price drop on Amazon and was pleasantly pleased. This fits reasonably well, looks cute, and is very comfortable! I didn't really expect to like this bra as Freya fashion styles are so hit or mess, and I wasn't sure that the aesthetic was really my style. Happily, this worked out!

Like most other Freya printed fashion styles, this is made from the same silky soft lightweight tricot ... in a single layer for the cups. The print is a Liberty-esque small ditsy floral pattern of white and blue flowers, which is totally different from anything else in my collection, but was pretty flattering on. The cut feels pretty close to Fearne, which I bought last summer in 28DD and also liked at the time, but it's hard for me to tell because my Fearne is a different size. A comparison of the data for the two here on Bratabase seems to confirm my theory. Unlike the similar looking Crush and Jewel Garden, this bra seems to fit less projected and give more of a minimized appearance, though the measurements are similar. The upper cup is made from mesh with a little lace edge, and is quite soft, so it doesn't cut into tall roots. What makes this fit work for me is that the upper cup is short and closes off gradually, so there isn't too much room at the top that I can't fill, which is frequently an issue in Freya bras as well as some Cleo fits that don't work for me (like Kayla).

The dark color and busy pattern also makes it really hard to see any visual fit issues, but it felt ok and was very comfortable. I didn't love the appearance this gave me on its own (since it was more minimized and less lifted than I like), but with some foam pads to convert this into a lined bra, it gives a lovely rounded appearance and looks great!

The wires on my bra are standard for Freya plunge styles, but they are pretty evenly shaped instead of the J wires or even swoosh shaped wires you sometimes find. The band is somewhat curved (cut with more width at the top of the band and less at the bottom of the band to accommodate a tapered ribcage), so the only unflattering thing I found about the appearance is that it creates some visible winging at the sides of the cups where the wire channel is empty. This issue goes away with the foam inserts though, so it doesn't bother me too much. It was noticeable enough that if I had intended to wear the bra unlined, I might have returned it.

The band is made from printed powermesh in the same pattern as the cup fabric, so the print extends throughout the entire bra except the straps and mesh upper cup. The straps are wide satin with a two tone picot edge, and the solid portions of the bra are a soft cornflower/periwinkle color that is quite unique. Surprisingly, I like the center gore decoration, as it is a simple two toned bow with a round textured silver bead that I originally thought was a pearl. A sweet and classy design from Freya that is in line with the prairie trend. Jasmine Meadow is a lovely option for natural shaping and lightweight comfort that I am happy to have in my collection!
