    Didn't fit

I'm going to preface my next four reviews with a few points:
-I ordered these bras at the BF sale, which was well over two months ago
-my breasts have had a lot of growth lately
-I knew, thanks to several BtB users and their suggestions (but I'd like to shout-out to Mamapagan for her phenomenal amount of help, time, and insights) that none of these bras would fit due to what Mamapagan and I are dubbing as the Teapot Effect.

    Teapot Effect Explanation:
Because my breasts are large, pendulous, and Omega shaped, it can be a little difficult to gauge one's correct size. So while it may seem like a too-small ... bra works, it still has some somewhat manageable fit issues. My breasts can "fit" into a J cup just fine, right? But here's what's really happening. The cup is lifting only a portion of my tissue (important to remember the REST of my tissue isnt even in the cup) which still gives me that signature EM rounded look. But the cups soon begin to sag under the weight of my breasts. In turn, this causes my band to slide up my back and the underwires on my bras to slide down and dig into my ribcage. Finally, my excess tissue that was never in the cup to begin with, starts to escape from the tops of my cups, much like pouring tea from a teapot. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

    Onwards to the review!

*Cries in Pin-Up* this bra is seriously one of my favorites. It was so comfortable back when it fit, but sadly, this one does not. My fit issues aren't nearly as prominent compared to the other bras, but that's what's so bad about this one. My tissue is being pinched. It's astoundingly uncomfortable how tiny the cups felt. If I hadn't have messed with the straps a little and if the top part of the cups didn't have such accommodating stretch-lace, there would be a lot more quadding. The band rode up a little on this one, which was only a little surprising considering it's a 65 band, whereas I think I'm a 60 band.

Tight cups make the band feel tighter :|

At least you have a good set of replacement bras on the way! (Trying to squeeze a silver lining out of that dark cloud we call this order..... 😋)

This is my second attempt at a 65K SF in the Pin-Up.
The measurements differ from my other 65K. The cup feels shallow compared to it's sister size 60KK (surprise, surprise).
Quality is sound. I love the uplifted look. I think the SF is a better match for my pendulous tissue than the BM is honestly.
    Band felt good. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

The SFs are more supportive too. I love that. 💕

      Same here :)

Now if only Ewa would be a new SF release. (Or release in general at this point!)

    • 1

Haha, right?! It would be fantastic! Gimme all the SF's 🤣

    • 2

As long as they aren't made like Blueberry!

Or Nibynic... that bra is so hard.

    • Hard? That doesn't sound good. 😬

    • 1

Yes, it probably secretly made of carbon fiber ;)

The armor bra! For the renaissance bra fights we were discussing on DerangedDragons19 other review! Perfect battle bra wear. 😄

The outer materials remind me of the matte finish of Zenith so I totally imagined the feel to be velvety smooth inside and out. Glad to know that isn't the case as it lessens the temptation for me to buy a beige colored bra.

I know! It was so disappointing. I was hoping for silky like Milk Chocolate.

    SF Pin Up in 65K

I am adding this in for data/ informational purposes only. I do not own this braat this time.

SF Pin Up is classified as a Semi Soft bra (aka Semi Padded), though it has no padding what so ever. The logic is that the material is stiffer, and thus EM considers this padded, which it clearly is not. If you are looking for a padded bra, this is not for you. If you are looking for a supportive bra, then this one is perfect for you. Aside from the misleading description of the SF bras on EM’s website, this bra is quite nice. The pattern ... in blue with white micro dots and red bow accents.

    Now for the specifics:

The band measures 23.75” to a max of 33.5". There are 3 hooks and 4 rows of eyes, which has been standard on every EM bra I’ve gotten so far.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 12.5"

2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.
    This measurement is: 14.5"

I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.

The wires actually overlap for the top half of the center gore, which is a bit odd. The sewing on this area looks odd prior to putting it on, though it doesn’t look or feel askew while on. There are 4 parts to the cup, three vertical, with one horizontal lace section on top.

Update 11/25/18: I pulled this one out of storage to try the fit again. I am at hi tide, about the fullest point of the month for me, so I opted to add new photos to compare. My breasts have grown a bit since I first got this one, but hi tide makes it even worse. Can't get my boobs in the bottom of the cup (only could at low tide when it fit anyway) and a lot of quadding on top of the cup. :-/ Back into storage for this one.
