Itsy-bitsy, teeny-weeny, orange leopard spot bikini!

Well, the Kameleon 2 is not itsy-bitsy (it's as full coverage as you'd expect from a Comexim plunge), but it is a spotted animal/jungle pattern. It's about as neon and wacky as it looks on the Comexim website. For some reason, the color tones and pattern remind me of a picture made in MS Paint...in a good way!

It is what it looks like: a swim version of the standard Comexim plunge. The cups run true to the other 70Gs I have, with good center projection and narrow wires. Cup and gore height are comparable to other 70G Comexim plunges: fairly tall cups ... that are not for the short-rooted, and a tall-for-a-plunge gore. Band is a bit loose but no more than the band on my 70G Free Time (the stretchiest band in my collection), but both are fairly standard 32s, if a bit on the looser side. I could probably wear a 65H, but I like not having the sides of my back pinched together. Bottom line: if you are concerned about the band being tight on the Kameleon 2, don't be. If anything, it runs a bit loose.

It has a typical one hook swim clasp in the back, which I think is metallic. The clasp and other hardware are silver.

I also got the Kameleon 2 bottoms in a Medium, and they do run a little large, which surprised me since I was really just hoping they wouldn't be too tight. There's no sagging, but the material is very lightweight and I am not sure I'd trust them to stay on in the water. For reference, I'm about 40" at the hips and generally a size 6-8 US in bottoms. And, since they don't show it on the website, the back of the bottoms is all jungle print, no orange.

Update 8/4/2015: I took this set on vacation with me and wore it to swim in on multiple days, a few hours at a time. It was just splashing around, nothing intense, but the bottoms stayed on beautifully and the band didn't loosen (I hand-washed it and dried it after every swim). Hands down the most comfortable swimsuit I've ever owned. I haven't noticed the colors starting to fade at all yet, either.

    • Thank you for the description of the back of the bottoms! I don't know why websites don't show the backs of their products. They've already got the model, product, photographer, and lighting. Why not shoot the back view as well?
