This bra runs smaller in the band than I anticipated. On the outermost hooks it felt fine against my ribs, but the gore told a different story. I added an extender, but that still wasn't quite enough. It took a gentle bend of the gore to totally stop the poking, but now it's basically perfect. I've never had a bra actually sit in my outer IMF, so this is lovely.

    Edit Feb 2024)
After having this bra for a little while, the band has stretched enough so that I can wear it on the tightest extender hook now. I've also lost a bit of weight and my ribcage is a little smaller from that, so that helps. I notice that this bra can migrate down out of my IMF during the day, and it buckles a bit when it does sit in my IMF. I think it's not quite projected enough at the wire, but this doesn't effect my comfort during the day so I'm not too worried about it. Still very comfortable and pretty.

Sick a great bra but unfortunately I can't clasp it! I've noticed the 60s getting more firm in the band.

I just received Comexim Ginger and Elena, both in 60H. The Elena feels slightly more projected at the wire, which is a better fit for me. However, Ginger is very pretty and the wires are perfect and comfortable, so it will be in my regular bra rotation.

Edit after a few wears: The band is almost too tight- it feels perfect when I'm standing and is comfortable for most of a day, but can start to feel tight at around the 9 hr mark or if I'm sitting and slouching for a long time. Although I wish it had a little more projection at the wire, the top of the cups fit perfectly with no gaping or quadding.

Thanks to a review by A Tale of Two Boobs, I learned that Comexim has two different plunge cuts, though they are not explicitly marked on the website. While most of their padded plunge are the "Standard Plunge" cut, they have a few styles that have a lowered gore and shallower cup. Ginger is one of these "Low Plunge" styles, and since it was very affordable and pretty, I decided to add it to my recent order to compare the two plunge fits.

I ordered the same size as in the Standard Plunge to compare the fits side by side, and I decided to skip alterations for ... this first order although I was a little concerned about the cup height. It turns out that this style measures about .5 cm lower with a similarly lowered gore compared to the Standard Plunge. While the band happens to measure exactly the same as all the other bras in my order at 54 cm, I could tell immediately that the reduced cup depth made a big difference in the fit. With the band hooked normally, the band felt significantly tighter than my other bras in the Standard Plunge cut. Although the cups combined are 1 cm shallower in this style, it had the effect of making the band fit 1 cm tighter, which resulted in the wires feeling more noticeable on my body.

In order to solve this, I added one hook to the band via an extender, which ends up adding about 2 cm to the band. This improves the fit, though I probably would not size up to a 65 band as the natural stretching with wear should solve this issue. The only difference in the fit of this bra is that the shallower cups end up visually giving the appearance of a larger, flatter cup rather than the more rounded shape the Standard Plunge give me, despite this cup height being a bit shorter. Though I feel like I could really wear either cut, I think that ideally I would need to lower the cup height and move in the straps on this style as well. The Standard Plunge seems to be slightly more flattering on my shape, though it will take some more wear testing to conclusively make up my mind on the fits.

The only thing other than the cup height that I don't love about this fit are the overlapping wires at the gore. I find overlapping wires to be a bit unstable on my body, because although my breasts are right next to each other with no gap, my splayed roots work better with standard gores of about 1"/2.5 cm. This gore is extremely narrow, about half of the width I am used to, so it takes some extra positioning on my body to sit properly.

Stylistically, Ginger really reminds me of the Ewa M Perlowy that I picked up very recently. Both are plunge cuts in beige with floral lace, both have floral patterns of shiny blossoms on open mesh, both have a double layered lace wing, are both are trimmed with tonal beige ribbons. The Comexim lace is smaller scale and simpler in design compared to the more intricate lace and trims on the Ewa. However, I prefer the Comexim cut by far, and the firm wings are definitely preferable in this style. While Ginger is a little less fancy in terms of construction and details than Perlowy, it is a much better fit on me. Something about this rounded Comexim cup shape really suits me better.

I think I may reorder the Ginger and ask for the Standard Plunge cut with the modifications I am planning to request on all future bras-- cup height lowered 1.5 cm and strap placement moved in 1 cm. It's such a pretty basic bra that I'd love for it to be a perfect fit!

I wish this worked but I quad too much due to both too small and shallow cups. A size up might help as the cups and wires are fairly short on me right now.

I bought this bra with some wear and the band is on the larger side for a 60H. Not sure if they run large or if it stretched over time. It is comfy on me as a regular 30E wearer except for the too small cups.
