    Didn't fit

Bought this in August; reviewing in December, after having gained 10-15 lbs
The band is sometimes so tight that my back becomes so stiff as to impede movement in the region under and surrounding said band. And there is still wrinkling in the cups because I still am not quite filling them. The wires sometimes dig in on the outer sides, and sometimes there is space between my boobs and the inner edges of the cups. And lying down in this bra , but can hurt because then my boobs always want to flop outwards, but the outer edges of the cups just don't go far out enough for that.
This was listed on eBay as a Susanna Side Support, which was either an indirect recommendation or listed on here as similar to a direct recommendation at the time. IIRC, the band was not as tight when I bought as it is now, but I was filling the cups even less now than I was then.

    • bras are not for lying down in. Lying down fit is not relevant.

However, if the band is that tight, its going to distort the shape of the cup, so you really have no idea how the cups fit.

Also, bratabase recommendations are not really very good. they are just a suggestion. there are likely many other bras which will fit you better.

However, you seem to have an ongoing issue with all of your bras hurting on your side? It coudl be a rib flare or even - i know this sounds crazy, but I had a chiropactor who said one of my ribs kept going out of joint. It would be more tender then.

one other thing - not all bras fit the same. Some have stretchier bands than others. Some have deeper cups and some have wider cups. You really need to be trying on more bras. try some on in person if you can find them in your size - some nicer stores have more sizes - not walmart or victoria secret. But try things on and see what fits and then look for that bra used.

dbmamaz some folks do sleep in their bras so maybe laying down is relevant for them? The last time I rolled over on my boob I thought I might need a sleep bra but I hate wearing anything at night let alone something constricting.

    • well, usually not the same bra you wear upright tho? i did sleep in bras for a little while, but I think I used older, worn-out ones

drakefish I think you need to be looking at 36 or 38 bands, considering your best fitting bra stretches to 39 in the band. So perhaps 36-38F to FF?

If you do tend to gain and lose a few pounds (I know I do), you can always buy an extender and use it for those tight bands. It will put the straps farther apart in the back though, if that is an issue for you.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. Not ignoring it, I'm just saving everything I have to say for the fitting help post I've been meaning to make. Soon . . .
