    Didn't fit

How happy I am to finally own a nude-to-me, neutral colored CHP! I already own and love the SM Summer Time, so as soon as I got the email that this one was available through Braobsessed, I jumped at the chance to try it in my favorite half cup style! All in all, it took about two months to arrive to me from the day that I ordered... I waited for it so excitedly in the interim!

The floral embroidery somewhat diminishes the practicality of this bra (it's definitely not seamless beneath lightweight shirts). However, it's absolutely gorgeous in a muted, vintage-y kind of way... creme and apricot-colored ... blooms with pale green leafy vines entwining down the cups over the vertical seams. Being quite pale (and more so now at the end of winter!) ideally I wish the overall color scheme would've been more cool-toned, like the Burek, but for girls with an olive complexion, these tan colors would be absolutely divine and so so beautiful! The cups themselves are a lighter beige color, with the straps and band being a darker, more caramel one. The only aspect of the design that somewhat disappoints me is the center gore bow... on Ewa's original stock photos from 2014 (here: http://www.ewa-michalak.pl/eng_pm_Biustonosz-CHP-Summer-Time--553_2.jpg) it looks like there's one of those gigantic, satiny bows she uses on many of her bras that make your boobs look to be wrapped like a present https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I love those! But, the one on my bra is quite small and sad. I have a feeling I'll be alone in this opinion though... I have very impractical taste when it comes to bra decoration and know others may definitely prefer the simplicity!

In all other respects, I feel like the fit is true to size for a 65FF CHP: narrow wires, firm band, a beautiful round shape but annoyingly wide-set straps. Happily, though, they are sturdier and much less stretchy than the ones on the recent CH Cherry. The matching thong is soft, comfortable and not too high-rise, as Polish underwear can sometimes be.

Update: this size is now too small and I've replaced it with a 65G as I love this bra so much.

    • I can't wait to get mine! I ordered the Summertime in an S cut because that's the only cut I know works, and this bra was too cute to have to pass up because I got the size wrong. That looks awesome on you. I too love the big bows. Is there a bow on the back of the thong?

    • 1

Thank you! Yes, there's a small creme colored bow on the back of the thong too. I uploaded a picture of it, but it might take a little while to be approved!

    • Awesome! I love all the bows on her stuff. Makes everything more fun.

    • How beautiful! I placed an order for this one a couple weeks back and I'm already impatient. I'm so relieved to hear that the color will complement tan olive skin. Do you find the band TTS? I ordered this in a 60 band and I'm nervous that I should've ordered a 55 band instead. Thanks for the review!

    • This is such a beautiful set! I also happen to agree with you on the bows, I prefer the larger ones.

    • persian_kitty I do think it's true to size, for an 65 EM band at least (a little firmer than a standard UK 30, more like in between 30 and 28). So, hopefully a 60 will work out for you just fine!

    • I love how this bra looks on you. I think the color looks very nice, even on very pale skin.

I've loved the Summer Time ever since I first laid eyes on it, but I missed out on the lovely unlined style. I also missed out the first time Jaimie from Bra Obsessed was offering a limited run, and when she offered it one more time, I knew that it was no coincidence and I needed to get on it. I ordered this originally in an S style but Jaimie was totally cool when I changed my mind at the last minute and luckily had this last CHP in stock. Yay. It's absolutely gorgeous and I'm so glad I finally jumped on it. There are a few loose ... threads, but nothing major. The band doesn't have the checked fabric on it like other models did and the bow is different. The band is so silky soft and strong feeling and just luxurious. Band stretches to about 29.5 and is very comfy. The straps are a little stretchy and difficult to adjust but I'm glad they're a little thinner than my other CHP in the same size. This is the first CHP style with pads, and they're SO difficult to put it/take out. Not sure why the hole for them has to be on the inside and smaller than they are. That's my biggest complaint. It fits fine with the pads, the right, more difficult side, gaps a little without them but it's still wearable. The width is perfect and the wires aren't too long and don't poke. The wings don't peak out from lower cut shirts. Very nice immediate projection and a lovely shape. The lace is only attached to the cups at the seams and I can poke my finger between the lace and foam. The lace does show under tighter shirts but it's so pretty I don't mind. The colour is a nice complement to my olive skin and it almost looks like there's no foam at all.The shape is, as expected, very round, uplifted and perfect. I ordered the thong in a 40 but received the brief instead. I emailed Jaimie about it but the brief is very soft, pretty and true to size. I accidentally ordered a size too big but it runs tight I'd say. All in all, I love this bra sooo much and I'm so glad I finally got the chance to own a Summer Time. I'd still love to try the unlined style if I can ever get my hands on one.

Edit: I wore this bra out. I was so wrong. I don't know if it's my period or what but the wings/wires harass my poor armpits. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Nothing too major, just enough to be a little irritating. Won't stop me from wearing it though.

Edit: No further problems. No more armpit harassment, I assume it's from my period but since it hasn't happened since I'm not sure. Also, Jaimie has agreed to send me the thong and let me keep the brief since it was her mistake: she wrote down figi instead of stringi. I offered to send it back but she was very gracious and said that was not necessary. This is why I like working with Jaimie because her customer service is exemplary.

That looks great on you! Thanks for the detailed review. I just ordered one from Jaimie as well :). Thanks for posting the shirt pic--I've decided to start doing that as well, because I realized how a bra looks under clothes is one of the most important things to me. I normally wouldn't get a bra with lace that shows through, but like you, decided to make an exception because the summertime looks so beautiful. Enjoy!

    • Thanks! I hope yours fits. This bra is so beautiful. I'm glad I took the risk on it. The only thing I have to say, and I'll edit my review when I have the time, is that the straps are wide-set and attack my armpits. Totally worth it though.

I was lusting over Summer Time for ages and I was sooo happy when I finally spotted one listed! The CHP shape is even better than I would have dreamed: so projected and round! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_surprised.gif" alt=":O" />

Looks brilliant on you! I've never tried any of the polish brands but am interested to look into it because of the smaller bands. I think I'm probably inbetween 26-28 back (can't remember what size that translates to). However, I believe I am relatively shallow and wide, though I've never had anyone else's opinion. Do you think I'm best stearing clear of
Polish brands as they're more projected or does it just depend on the model?

Awesome shape and gorgeous color on you, myfashioninsider ! :)

Looks gorgeous on you! :) I haven't had so much luck with the first CH(P)s but this makes me want to try again. PinkSquink Comexim's single-seamed half cups are quite wide and shallow, such as Comexim Victoria Half Cup (407) (and you can get any of their bras in that cut). And maybe Ewa's M or 3D cuts?

Thanks Nml817. I've just been trying to work out my size on the chart on the Comexim website. I measure 68cm under bust and 84cm around the bust. This places me in the 70B size. However, I looked at the measurements on here for this size and they don't seem to match up. If I look at the depth and width of cups and the measurements of the bands, it seems that a 65D or a 60E matches the bras that already fit me and my measurements. Did you find this or would you stick to the chart? My best fitting bras are the Cleo Neve, and the Cleo Maddie and Panache Porcelain Grace apart from the fact the bands are too loose.

I also just remeasured according to EM measuring instructions, they said to measure over bust when leaning forward which gets me to 89cm instead of 84cm. They also said to measure more tightly round under bust, so I can actually get it to 65cm from 68, so they put me at 65DD. This is all getting a little confusing. Perhaps I should explain all this as an adventure?!

PinkSquink That could be a good idea! For Comexim, I would trust the Bratabase measurements more (but you need to check the specifc cut/bra). You're usually wearing around UK 28E-F, which translates to 60F-G in Comexim's EU sizes. Ewa uses UK sizes.

Thanks, I that sounds better for Comexim. I think the 65DD seems about right for Ewa. I think the Ewa Hm looks a good try looking at the shape/openness of he cup and possibly the Ch though the cups aren't very tall, but thatakes similar to the Maddie.
Thanks so much for your help, I ink I've got a bit of a handle on it now. I think I'll do this as a bra adventure and see how people have found those bras.
