    Didn't fit

This bra was on sale online, so I took a chance and ordered it. It’s not perfect for my shape, but seems like a good everyday bra. This is a cup size larger than my Jasmine bra (they didn’t have 36G on sale) and there is a gap at the outer corner where the lace meets the band. The bottom of the cup works well for my FOB breasts. However, I’m inner full and the gore is a little too wide and as a result the wires sit a little on my breast tissue. The fabric runs too high into my armpits, but I’m not sure if this ... will be an issue or not. The band is firm but not tight. Overall the fabric is comfortable and I like the feel of the cups.

I’m just not sure if this is a bra I should keep while I continue to look for a bra that is good for FOB and inner full breasts. Given that I seem to fall somewhere between a 36FF and 36G in other bras I’ve tried on, I’m not sure if this is a little too big for me, given the gap I noticed in the outer lace. Do I keep this bra (it was on sale) or return and save my money for a bra that will work better for my shape?

Is it comfortable? It looks like a pretty good fit but with the issues you listed, it might not work well (gores sitting on breast tissue can be painful by the end of the day). Running high into the armpit area is often a deal breaker for me. But if it was such a good deal that you can put up with the imperfections, then keep it. ;)

    • It looks darn good! I put it this way, if you don't have a lot of decently fitting bras that are comfy, keep it!
If you don't like the shape and really don't think you'll wear it because you have other better fitting bras, return it and save the money for a better bra.

So this is the fourth Envy I've owned, I only kick myself for not buying the Cassis colorway because damn. (You have no idea how I hope to see that one go up on ebay or SOMETHING.) So pretty!

As far as fit goes, the same as all the other Envy colorways I've purchased, which up until now have been the non fashion colorways. Pink doesn't do it for me, but I cross my fingers for a red some day. Lots of room for immediate depth and stretch lace to smooth out issues up top. Super supportive and plenty comfy.

As for the color, holy cow, I've yet to see ... a photo on the internet that does it justice. Stunning, rich (more blue than green) teal that has an almost iridescent colorway. I'm not a big fan of Panache knickers but I will probably end up picking up a pair because I feel it's a crime not to have them this time.

Wanted to add, had to buy the matching bottoms, it was a crime not to. They are soft and stretchy, and I plan to buy a second pair.

    • I love envy and I love this color. Where did you find the new peacock blue colorway for sale?

    • 1

Hey SavvyL, I got it from my local boutique. She ordered it months ago, and all the fall stuff is slowly coming in now. (Picked up the crochet Jasmine 2 weeks ago from there.) I'm sure you will start to see it available online soon if you don't buy locally.

    Envy fits me weird.

I think maybe this is 1 size too small at least. It quads a little bit, but also has wrinkles at the bottom. The gore also floats.

I’m not a fan of white, but for diagnostic reasons I figured white was easiest to see fit issues.

The wires are narrower than other UK sized bras I’ve tried, which is cool. I need narrower wires!

Panache’s bras are pretty good quality, so the Envy isn’t different. It’s not the most comfortable, but it’s okay. I felt kinda squished in there. Appearance-wise, the fabric on the Envy has a weird pattern that I don’t care for, and I mentioned how I feel about the white color.

The lace is great, nice and comfortable and allows for fluctuations in size!

I’m not a huge fan of the fit of the Envy, so I probably won’t try it again. I actually preferred the look of the Jasmine, although the 36G - Panache » Jasmine Balconnet Bra (6951) didn't fit me AT ALL.

Another bra that's not for me. While the band feels OK, the rest is all wrong: the fabric is rough and scratchy, the underwires are too long and poke me in the Tail of Spence, I can't fill the top of the cups so it wrinkles, and the bottom of the cups isn't deep enough so I get a weird square boob shape. I will return this bra.

    Fits

Coming up on a year in this Envy and it's still wonderful. I actually love wearing it under white tops, because I'm just light enough that it doesn't scream its presence through the fabric.

Would love to have a red version of the Envy.

As usual with Panache , the straps are far too wide set for my small shoulders. That said, I love this bra. I wasn't sure about the stretch lace at first, but it meshed with my soft breast tissue really well - and held me in! It was itchy at first, but my skin is very sensitive and a few gentle hand washes fixed the problem.
