This bra is probably the best fitting of the ones I have tried. But, it is still very problematic for me. I have a short root. The gore length is basically the length of my breast root. The band is too tight and causes the underwire to spread and dig in to my ribs. I sound like a broken record. I have wrinkling in the sides and top. The underwire also digs under my armpit. It's a really nice nude. Side support isn't what I prefer, it definitely goes out to the side. When I first tried it, I thought it gave me a pointy odd look, but trying it again today it does more look rounded, but I still think I need more bottom projection. I think if you have short roots, this might not be for you.

This bra is engineered! I say that as a compliment and a warning. The wires are extremely firm, the gore tacks aggressively, feels quite tall, and a bit on the wide side. I think this works well for moderate immediate projection and has some room on top for fullness, but if your breasts sit close together or are very full at the center, it may be uncomfortable. After a day of wear, I find I have to move the center of my breasts away from the gore to keep them from being crushed. Still, this provides a great round, forward shape, and feels very secure. I probably won't order 38GG - Panache » Envy Balconnet Bra (7285) again, but it is certainly a good, functional option, maybe just a slight shape mismatch.

Though it says it's a balconette on the website, the tag says Full Cup. I got the black one. I have a short root, and the gore was too tall for me. It tacked as close as it could and I had a nice rounded shape. Because the gore was so tall, I couldn't quite fill out the top of the cup. The band was stretchier than I thought it was going to be, I could easily fit my whole hand under the band. The bra itself was pretty comfy, and it is beautifully made.
