    VERY pleased with this bra.
I don't get slight quadding when I scoop like with my Hopscotch Longline.
That is still one of my top bras, but I think I need a 30F or 28FF in this style.
Speaking of 30vs28.. I think I chose the wrong day to try this.
I was on vacation over the weekend, which inevitably means little sleep and always hungry.
I gained 3lbs, and 1-3 inches almost everywhere. It'll go away in a few days, but right now my ribs are measuring about 30.5" or more as opposed to 29.
    Sad.
But otherwise I love this bra.
The cups are just the right depth and the material is nice.
The wires ... are, as usual for half cups, too wide. They do not however come up too far, so it doesn't bother me under my arms.

I do want to make a note for sellers and swappers, and I want to bring this up in an adventure later, but please PLEASE wash your items before sending them.
I never had a problem with this until recently, and I've recieved 4 unwashed bras- a combo from ebay, here, and reddit.
It's not a big deal, but just out of consideration for whoever is ending up with your personal items.
I'm sure the majority of us do, but I've gotten 4 in a row, and one a few months ago, so I wanted to bring it up.
I look at it similarly to giving someone unwashed used panties. It's not as gross, but it's still kind of gross, especially when it is visibly dirty and smelly.
I did not receive this from Bratabase, which is why I'm bringing it up in this review since I don't want to make anyone feel awkward or bad. It's ok, just stop for pleases.

Anyway- this bra seems good for shallow, wide rooted boobs. It can work with projected, narrow rooted ladies, but I'd suggest moving up in the cup if that describes you. The wires don't come up far, so it's possible to get away with them, and they're not extremely wide, so it's not a huge problem. This bra does extend 1.5-2" from my actual boob though. If that sort of thing doesn't bother you, go ahead and try this.
I do wish I had gotten a bigger band in any case. I don't normally have an issue with longline bands being too big at all, and find them very supportive.
I'll be giving this a wash and deciding whether or not I can handle the band or want to swap for 30F.

In any case, this is a very pretty, comfortable bra. I'm glad to know going up a cup works.

Making sure the bra is totally dry before sending it is also important or else it starts to smell moldy.

uniteacher I did that once with a skirt. I try to ship things as soon as I can, but that time I was apparently in too much of a rush. It took a week to get there and she said it smelled like a dirty basement. I felt so bad! I refunded her and now I wait longer to pack up. I'd rather be a slow shipper than have that happen again.

Queequeg0925 I love the just flew in, it's a pretty color and the birds are a nice pattern without being juvenile.

If you decide to list it, I have a 30F that i would love to swap!

    • uniteacher jlcl119 Oh gosh, yes! I accidentally did that once also, but didn't receive any bad feedback.
At the time, I was more worried about shipping late, but I felt so bad after thinking about it
      :(

    • 1

      jlcl119 I feel the same :)
I was a little concerned that I'd dislike the print, but I find it so much prettier in person, and I totally agree about the birds!

    • immodestmouse Yay! That makes me super happy :D
I'll let you know for sure by Friday, if that's ok?

I'd like the smaller band, and I did temporarily go up an inch or two, but just having it on for 10 minutes to take pictures today reeeally hurt my back, so right now I'm leaning more towards swapping and 30F sounds perfect :)

    • Yeah that's fine! It only stretches to exactly 30", so it wouldn't be too big of a jump, but just a little bit more room than the 28 :)

    • immodestmouse that's great :) I will let you know for sure then ^_^

My goodness, this is a really pretty bra! I love the purple, it's my favorite color, howwww I don't have any purple bras yet is beyond me. Regardless, really stunning! I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for a 28G lurking somewhere.

Wanabee Yes!!! :D I finally got to the beach and Smithsonian, it was super fun! :)

    • lcl0706 I know! Purple is my favorite too, closely followed by cerulean and green, and I JUST got this and a purple Natori the day before. I'm so happy to finally have some! Now if I can snag a Cleo Lucy 30E in purple I'll be set :P

Good luck! I'll keep an eye out for you also :) I browse /r/ABTF and ebay just about every day haha

I have wanted this bra for what feels like eternity, I was saving up for it but after figleaves sold out of 28FF I went and impulse bought it off large cup lingerie (free shipping, came in just 2 days, I recommend it!)

When I took it out of the packaging, my first instinct was that the cups are too big, I'm going to have to send it back! But they actually fit very well for size. The back has a 6 hook fastening, but there is only 2 tightness settings and I am on the tightest right away, so I might end up adjusting it.

Apart from the tightness, ... my only complaint is how wide the wires are, they are way too wide for me and mean that I'm popping out a bit at the front because the cup is too shallow, it's not uncomfortable and doesn't look too obvious so I'm definitely keeping it, but it's very much a bra for someone with wider, more shallow breasts.

The longline looks great, but there's no extra boning or support. It's not really necessary though as the cups are very supportive. Overall it's a gorgeous bra and I'm gad I impulse-bought it, I'm probably going to wear this under a sheer shirt, or with a high waisted skirt and a jacket, to show it off https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

I am so excited that my longline came in! Less excited about a couple of elements of it, but this is honestly a beautiful bra. I will be replacing it for a larger cup size, and I'll love it. I like the light lavender color a lot-- I'm a pale skinned, pinky cool toned person and I think it looks absolutely fabulous. I also love the pattern. I have a thing for birds and nature patterns, so this bra really fills that niche.

But let's talk sizing. My first and most obvious impression of this bra is that the cup sizes seem to run about a cup too small. ... I am solidly a 28FF in Cleo unpadded styles, and am pretty confidant that I would be a 28FF in the Freya Deco (I haven't had a chance to double-check, but the 28G is about a cup size too big for me). I ordered this bra in a 28FF and have serious quadboobage not just in my bigger boob, but in my smaller boob as well. I like the lightly padded cups, and I also liked the general shape they created. I expect in the next size up they would look fantastic. I find the shape to be pretty round and uplifted from what I can currently see. I would expect most people would need to size up in the cup for this bra.

Next, the band is of note. I am admittedly a bit disappointed to find that this did not feel like a snug 28 band on me, but rather slightly on the looser side. (For reference, my underbust is 27", or a snug 26.25", and this band was 24" unstretched and 29.5" stretched). If they offered this in a 26, I would absolutely size down in it. The band itself is quite stretchy, and I expect it will loosen with time. As it is, I think that I might have to alter down the band size, because I think it would be worth it to have this bra in my rotation but I just demand more snugness from my bands. I would expect that, if you like a firmer band, sizing down in the band size if possible would be a good move.

Another HUGE (in my mind) downside to this bra, that I frankly find very confusing, is that it only has TWO rows of hooks, as opposed to your standard three (I've even found strapless bras that have four). I don't know why this irks me as much as it does, maybe because I find it mind boggling. Like, seriously, I am racking my brain trying to figure out why on earth they would not use three rows of hooks like every other bra in the world, and the only things I can come up with are dastardly schemes to force you to buy more bras earlier because you couldn't tighten the back of your bra just that little bit more after their already-verging-on-loose band stretched out. The six hooks, though luxurious, also make it so hard to just add another row yourself (instead necessitating chopping down the band).

But, setting my conspiracy theories aside, it's a silly thing. Hooks set aside, this bra feels supportive, but to be honest, no more supportive than your average bra. I would have expected long lines to feel substantially more supportive, but I think because the band has quite a bit of give it isn't providing as much support around the band as it could.

I guess it's because it's a long line, but I have more things to say about the band of this bra than anything else. I've read that other Freya long lines have had issues with the band rolling up at the bottom, but I haven't experienced this issue with this bra. I am pretty petite in the torso, and the bottom of the band hits basically the bottom, maybe a cm above the bottom of my ribcage. One issue I do run into, though, that I don't experience with my other bras, is some spillage of 'back fat' over the band-- it's just below my shoulder blades, and I am slightly but not overly squishy person. It definitely isn't too tight a band, but the height of the band hits me in a different place than my other bras.

Overall, a gorgeous, classy bra that looks like it could create a really nice shape. However, a bit too small in the cups, a tad too loose in the band. I'll be returning for a 28G, and then altering the band down maybe half an inch or so.

After having this bra in it's sister size of 30F (shout out to Queequeg0925 for swapping!), this bra fits very similarly but just slightly smaller overall, which is exactly what I needed!
The cups are shallow and fairly wide in this size. There is enough projection at the gore, which seems to taper off as it goes out further down and toward the wings. However, this does not effect the fit or cause any pain, so it works just fine for me.
As for the actual construction of the bra, the cups are *thinly* lined, really just enough to prevent anything from ... showing through. The bottom part of the longline band is neither stretchy nor plush, but it soft and comfortable. The only thing is that I really needed to wear my true (28 instead of 30) bandsize in order for it to fit securely around my ribs. The tighter band also helps the gore to mostly tack, although there is a bit of gaping where the bottom of the band becomes the fabric between the cups. There is some empty space at the edges of the wires on the outside and about halfway under my boobs going out, but honestly I've begun to get used to this in nearly every bra as I have no tissue under my arms at all.

I have this bra in a 28F that was just a tad too small. I was getting quad boob. The 28FF fits better in the cups, it's just that they are too wide for my narrow frame and the straps don't adjust short enough. The lift it gives it great! The extra support from the longline really pushes the boobs up. I've read somewhere else that it's like those pirate wench corset dresses in how it pushes you up, and it's pretty darn close. I'm tempted to keep it just for that and suffer through the rubbing to achieve that look. Beautiful bra, I adore the pattern. The fabric is soft. The band seems a little loose, as I have to use the tightest hooks right away.. and there's only two rows of hooks so, the bra wouldn't last long for me. I've been wanting the bra forEVER in a 28FF, thinking it would solve all my problems with it, but sadly, it doesn't work. I think I'll have to say goodbye to this beautiful bra.

LOVE THIS BRA! One of my favorite bras ever. The longline style is perfect and I finally own a bra with my proper band size! The color is a pretty purple and the designs are cute. I will be purchasing all the other Freya longline bras as I get the money.
