I got this bra in a swap for my Jasmine. It’s a decent fit, but a bit too snug in the band. It’s also really pressing on my sternum even though I have an extender on it. Hard Cleo/Panache wires.

The design is a bit weird with the polka dot cups and rose/floral print on the lace. The previous owner snipped the elastic strip to make it more fot friendly. I have no problem with that. It’s maybe a teensy but loose in top, and would likely have dug into my soft tissue had it been there.

The material the cups are made from is soft and smooth and kind of thick feeling. I feel like something is restricting the band from stretching more.

It’s not a bad fit, but it’s not my favourite bra or fit so I’m probably going to list it. I have to measure it first.

    • Ooof. Digging in to the sternum is pretty awful. Thanks for the good review!

    • It’s pretty bad. I got through a day at work with it but I was aware of it a lot.

    • As I always say, Panache=Pain. Painful Panache! Sorry it didn't work out for you.

It's not the perfect fit, but the bra is quite comfy and I like polka dot design so much. The band is closer to 28 and the cups are quite closed on top but true to size. I have some wrinkling at the apex on my smaller side, but it's not visible under clothes. Breasts have very front and center position, but the bra gives not perfectly round shape.
Upd. I've cut out the lining from the upper section of the cup. Zia became more FOT friendly( and sexy, to my mind) and I have more room for my fully days

    • It looks very nice with the lining cut out. I think about doing the same with mine. Does the top part feel less supportive or is it the same fit as before just with a bit more room on top?

    • I never need great support from the upper part of the bra. So I'm not sure about this, but more upper room with the same wire size is always welcome.

    • Thank you!

I also need a bit more room on top in this one.

My shape: center-set teardrop with very wide and very tall roots, very close-set tissue in the middle, and firm tissue that doesn't take compression well.

I just received this bra in a swap. The print is pretty cute, and although the combination with the lace seems a little strange, I could probably grow to like it. Unfortunately, this is just a big shape mismatch for me. First, the cups: There's definitely not enough immediate projection at the bottom, and even though the cup isn't molded or even padded, it still slips down to try and seat the breast in the most ample part. On the other hand, there is ... way too much projection on the top, which means that this sits like a bullet bra on my super tall and shallow-esque roots. The very top edge is actually almost the right size, but there is a lot of extra fabric between there and the apex, which just means that I don't think this is very good for tall-roots (maybe not FOT either? Not sure, because I am not FOT).

The fact that the cups ride down also makes the wires dig into my center tissue. I think they would be a little more comfortable if I could get them to sit half an inch higher, even though at that point they would be solidly on top of my boobs, but no luck. The gore is also a little too wide, but that happens with lots of bras for me, so not necessarily a mark against this one. Either way, after 20 minutes it's pretty irritating, if not exactly the painful bruising I have experienced with other problem gores.

The wires are strange. I don't think they take up the whole channel because the top edge of the band under my arm is distorted by the breast tissue pushing on it, but I can't seem to shift them along inside the channel, either. As is typical with almost all bras, they are also slightly too steep of a curve for my roots, but as is also typical, it doesn't bother me much. What does bother me is the end of the wire poking me there because it's too short, and if it could just reach the top edge it wouldn't be.

The fabric feels a little cheap, I think, but it is smooth and soft enough that there is no scratching or itching.

The band might be a little too tight on me, actually, but aside from the slight bulging of the fabric on the wings, it's comfortable and I can still pull it away from my back enough for 2 fingers. A 32 on the second or tightest might have fixed this, but I can't find my extender to check, and I probably won't be ordering a different size because of the aforementioned issues.

The straps adjust long enough for me. There is a slight dig at the front of my armpit when I go to reach across myself, but that is more likely the edge of the cup, and also would probably be aided by loosening it another hook or two.

What an odd fit. What an odd bra. The big polka-dot look combined with the feminine, rose-patterned lace section is a little confusing to the eye, but it goes together surprisingly well.

Unfortunately I cannot say the same for the fit. This bra is too small for me, I get some slight quadding out the top and the band is very tight. Even with an extender to keep the wires from being stretched, the cup is too small. Despite this, I get massive wrinkling in the lace section. I don't know if my boobs are too firm, or the top of my breast is too shallow/not projected enough to ... fill it out. But I get the quad/wrinkle effect. The Zia may be a Marcie sister cut, but it does not have stretch lace, so the top is much more closed off. It has a normal apex (not like the high apex of the Meg, which is also closed off on top, but fits me much better. Go figure). I thought it would work well because I have short, projected boobs, but I guess I don't have projection in the right areas, or else my boobs aren't soft enough to conform to Zia's expectations.

tl:dr Tight band, Closed off on top

So, this bra is beautiful. I love the polka dots. I also got the shorts in a size 12, and they fit pretty well, and the set is just adorable!

I measure at a 28 band, but I tried the Lucy in 28FF and it is still a little tight for my liking after 5+ months, so I got this in a 30F, and the band is still super tight after 3 months. So, sizing up in the band was perfect for me in this bra. It's tight and stiff, but not unbearably tight. At first the underwires creaked, but the stopped after a few washes.

Now, as to ... the cups. I'm still working on figuring out my shape. I think that I've determined that I'm omega shaped. But I'm also shallow. Most of my tissue is projected at the bottom but with even fullness, but it reaches all the way to my collar bone. My breasts are also splayed due to my prominent breast bone. And I have a long torso. All of these shape qualities together lead me to being hard to fit in a non-moulded bra. In every unlined bra that I've tried, I get a wrinkle. Even if it's too small, I still get a wrinkle at the part where the bottom meets the lace upper part of the cup. This is no exception. In this bra, though, it's the smallest amount of wrinkle and is not noticeable in most shirts. I plan on fixing it by just sewing the wrinkle down. Why am i willing to sew just to have an unlined bra? Because the shape this gives me is gorgeous! This gives me a nice projected, pulled forward, round shape. The material is stiff and it holds my breasts in place while still being comfortable. The support is surprising. Since I've been wearing bras, I've been looking for bras that do not give me quadboob, which lead me to only having bras that are cut open at the top, so while the bottom is supported, the top is super jiggly and not supported. This bra gives me support everywhere! I feel that I could run in this bra! But I think the projection would make me sore.

Overall, this bra is almost the perfect unlined bra for my shape.

The bra fits pretty nicely, except the line where the lace meets the fabric digs into my breasts, I will have to size up. The material is pretty itchy as well, but I like that the straps are narrow. The band is also a great fit, but there is lots of forward projection.

Update: Ordered a size up to 30FF, and while the cup fit very nicely, the straps were not long enough and dug into my shoulders really bad. I am 5' 7" for reference.

Bra is comfortable, I like the tightness of the band. There is some minor poking of the gore on my sternum, but I will try bending the wire slightly to see if it helps. The lace on the top has some slight wrinkling but I feel that it is not noticeable under shirts so I find no problem with it.

Really disappointed in this one. I thought this would be a similar fit to the marcie, which is currently my best fit in 30F. But I have in cup quadboob due to difference in fabric between the mesh in bottom and embroidery in top of cup. The wires seem ok and gore is narrow which is fantastic, but cups are not as deep or fabric is not as stretchy as the lace on marcie. Even if this were to fit, I can not see what I would wear it under because of the colours and texture of embroidery - pattern shows through both dark and light clothing. The positive for this bra is that the band is nice and snug - I measure 29 tight, and I found this band to be perfect.
