So this is the bra I used to live in when I thought I was shallow. I know it's not recommended for projected breasts, but honestly I may not care. Theres about a finger width of space at the bottom of the cup between the wire and my IMF, and the bottom of the cup puckers a bit. Probably due to being too shallow so its pushed down a bit. But it's one of the few plunges I can get to work. The wires are also a bit wide on the side. Wear the top of molded portion sits near the strap pulls away a bit, but not ... terribly noticeably. I remember it being fairly comfortable, though I was wearing 34DD previously. I tried that on, and similar to my DD/E dilemma in the BMs, I can wear a DD, but I have to be very careful with the scoop and swoop or I end up falling out the middle. I may have to get both and wear them a bit to decided.

Reasons I'm thinking of keeping it despite it being top shallow include: it's still pretty comfy, its readily available in a variety of colors, unlike BMs I can wear it with sleeveless tops, it looks good under clothes.

Reasons I'm thinking of ditching it: now that I know better I'm definitely more aware of the lower wire placement being off (it's not uncomfortable but its noticeable), I may be better off in a 34DD after some settling (will have to wait and see), my eyes go straight to the bump/wrinkle in the bottom of the cup and it bugs me, even though others might not even notice!

    • So when measuring this I realized the band, even though its stretchy, really doesn't stretch much before the wires start warping!! Maybe I need to try a 36 band...

    • I have that same bra and color and the bottom of the cup doesn't have that shape. Definitely go for a different size. Sorry I can't say if it's cup or band. But ditch is my vote

    • 1

Because it's too shallow for me I get some degree of that empty space unless I go small enough to be spilling out. 🤷‍♀️ Just something I'll have to deal with if I stick with the bra!

    • I also really love the look of this bra, it sorta does the same to me (slides down). I think if you really like the style, then keep it. But there might be other options in a smoother cup you can try too that won’t slide down as much! Have you tried the Panache Cari? It’s still sorta wide, but maybe you will like the fit better!

    • 1

Cari.... is that a spacer bra? I tried a 36DD in store yesterday and it was better. Even though this band is stretchy is starts stretching the wires pretty quickly, so the fit is better with a bigger band I think. I'll check out the Cari! One of my fave things about this is the lace overlay helps hold down the molded part so it has a forgiving fit.

    • Yes, the spacer foam! I feel like it has more projection at the wire and it’s looks smooth under shirts. It can also be used racerback which is a good bonus. There’s also the Simone Perele 65F - Simone Perele » Caresse 3d Plunge Bra (12A316) This one might have less projection at the wire, but a bonus is that the gore is low. I’ve had mine for over a year and the bra looks great. Really good materials and straps!

    • I meant to say, the gore on the Simone Perele is lower and softer than the Panache Cari, so if you’re sensitive to that, you might prefer this one!

    • 1

braluv if my most common UK size is a 34E do you think the Simone Perele is true to size and I should try that size first? I found some on ebay for a decent price but wanted thoughts on sizing!

    • So Simone Perele has different sizing progression, it goes A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H (check it out here: https://www.bratabase.com/browse/simone-perele/size-range/ )

So technically a 34E UK (6th cup size), would be 34F. However, I do think they run a little big and I went down one cup size when I purchased mine (I've only tried two styles though, maybe someone else can give better advice). So I would say try it if you can return it!

    Used to fit

This was recommended bra and Bratabase hit the nail on the head. For the first time, underwire is comfortable and a gore lies flat And the cups fit both the smaller and bigger breasts And support me because it's a molded cup. I previosly thought only a stretchy lace could fit both gals. My left breast perimeter is 10.5 while the right breast is 9.5
The color is a beautiful summer orange, not a Halloween orange.
My underarm fat is minimal but in some styles unsightly. This higher appex helps somehow and the fat doesn't look bad.
I just need to get used to how high up it is ... on the sides. Not uncomfortable. Just not what I am used to as this is my first bra in my correct size, 34F
Big plus: it holds a nice shape when I lay down.
Edit: turns out this bra is not comfortable for more than a couple hours. The lace bznd is scratchy and the sides are uncomfortable under the arms. It presses into my arms when I put my arms forward to type at my desk.

This is my favorite bra of all time! Fantastic for wide roots with short torso or full on bottom.

My shape: slightly shallow teardrop/FOB with super wide/tall roots and very close-set tissue in the middle

This review is for the Indigo colorway.

I bought this bra to take the band in (because I couldn't find it in my size, and the 32s stretch out so fast anyway), but I never got around to it. The blue and the contrasting embroidery is so pretty! This, of course, is why I bought it.

As just the stock bra, the cups fit pretty well, although I probably could have gone with the 34DD since my other Feathers-es are all 32DDD and it's great. The band runs tight, which is consistent with all the Natoris I have tried, and would probably fit someone with a UK 32 much better than me.

I got it with the shorts in a size M, which fit nicely, but I haven't worn them.

I had first tried the 32DDD, which was too shallow in the cup and too short in the band. This one is still too shallow and wide in the cup and the wire still sits below my IMF. But this band is too loose and I would need to wear it on the tightest hooks right from the start.
Oh well, scratch this one off my list. It's just not the right shape for me. What a shame, too...I absolutely LOVE the Gem Turquoise color!

I love how this bra fits. I feel secure without being confined. I appreciate the soft cups over a molded cup for sure. The lace can be a tiny bit itchy on my back but it is definitely not a deal breaker.

This is one of those bras that isn't a technically good fit - but I love & wear it anyway!

I purchased the Feathers in 34DDD/E. The band is very stretchy; if you prefer a snugger band, size down. My breasts are wide-set with average projection and average to tall roots with very firm tissue due to implants (post-reconstruction). Since this bra is more shallow, I do experience some wrinkling (collapsing?) of the cup at the bottom near the wire. It is not visible under clothing so I'm not even mad, LOL.

Overall, I find this bra very comfortable and keeps the girls front and center with very little effort. The wire length is perfect. I love the Feathers plunge so much I already have 2 and plan to get a few more colors!

Because 34DDD is a sister size to 32G, I thought this might work. Feathers is an exceptionally comfortable bra! The materials are lightweight, stretchy, and thoughfully assembled for wide, shallow breasts. The low gore is blissful. However, if I were to shorten the band enough to achieve lift, the wires would literally wrap around my scapulas. And, in just five minutes, my projected, wide breasts collapsed the cup. Sigh.

I intensely hope Natori creates a more narrow, projected Feathers: I will be the first to buy it. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />

The look in this bra is pretty. I don't think it gives enough support. I did recently have a reduction and maybe I am still looking for a lot more support
