I have this in 34G and It's a very good bra for shape and appearance of lift, pushes together and gives a perky rounded shape under clothes - my go to bra for outdoors. but its very padded, projecting and low plunging - meaning a lot of clothes just don't go with it - I cant wear anything sheer or too low (unless i want a lot of cleavage) and I feel a bit self conscious if I wear this under anything tight as it makes my boobs look massive - I cant do up many button/zip clothes over it unless I go up a couple sizes. Also its very uncomfortable after a long day - sweaty itchy and painful - I'm also covered in bruises where the wire has rubbed and the straps dug in. it has held its shape and washed very well.

I want to like the Deco, I really do.

I love plunge moulded bras. I wear a ton of t-shirts; it's practically an essential. But this one only fits me great if my body is on its A-game. No binging on a dinner out, no slouching, no moving around, no hormonal influences.

The band fits great, similar to the 34GG. The cups, well, I'm too soft for these. They cut into the layer of fat under my breasts (against my ribs) so that if I wear this bra all day, by hour 8, I'm ready to take the thing off. I get a lot of issues with my extra boob/underarm transition fat looking stupid where the straps meet the cup. It's not uncomfortable, it's just not a flattering look and I feel like a orangutan.

    • This made me giggle. I have the orangutan problem too. I have that issue with almost everything I wear.

    • Oh, man, I know what you mean!

I didn't realise I had broad shoulders until I started knitting sweaters. I love the look of a shrug or a short cardigan, but it makes me look like a linebacker. So now, I just admire it on OTHER people.

    • Bahahah I've literally thought the exact same thing about myself - I look like a linebacker! I was a gymnast and my shoulders and arms are way overdeveloped for my body. They're out of proportion and make my top half look so heavy and shrugs and cap sleeves are my mortal enemy!

    • I'm thinking I should call my mom and thank her for giving me a choice between going back to just taking several dance classes or sticking with gymnastics and only one dance class, when I was a kid. My shoulders have always been very squared-off and broad, which only became more noticeably so and especially in comparison to my mom's narrow, sloping shoulders once I hit puberty. There are many things I avoid wearing to minimize the linebacker look - cap sleeves and spaghetti straps for example. I don't like the look of shrugs on me, so not being one who can pull off wearing those isn't terribly disappointing. :P

There are benefits to broad shoulders - for example, I'm only 5'1.5" but my shoulders are why I can wear many bras with wide set straps while someone the same height who has narrow shoulders will constantly find themselves dealing with straps slipping off. Now, the whole height thing is an entirely different matter - I would have loved to be at least 5'4" like my mom and I'd have been ecstatic over growing to an adult height of around 5'7"-5'8". Unfortunately that wasn't in the genetic cards for me but life has gone on regardless. :)

We don't have much say in how our boobs are going to be - the width and height of the breast roots are what they are. Not that it makes things easier to accept when finding bras that fit and work with our shape is difficult. Stay positive and hold on to believing that those bras are out there - you will find them. :)

    • Thanks, valentine, for the words of encouragement!

I don't have the blessings of being physically coordinated, but I am glad I learned early on that I can't have cap sleeves or shrugs or the like. I do love my tank tops, but I love them as underpinnings to a cardigan or a button-down shirt left open on the top buttons. I definitely have a style rut! Cardis and jeans for life!

I didn't even know women dealt with straps slipping off until I joined Bratabase, TBH. I see it on pictures of women now and, you're right, that is something I will NEVER have to deal with.

I'm lucky that I am wild about my Natori Reflex, even though it doesn't fit perfectly by Bratabase standards, I love it to the point that I forget I am wearing it.

I have a couple of Natori t-shirt style bras, as they're the only ones I've found that I can wear with lower necklines - and their nipple concealing ability for when my mom comes out to So-Cal for a visit. She and my aunt are anti-visible-nipples even though everyone has them. I've tried the argument that anyone who stares at other people's nipples is the one with a problem but it doesn't seem to convince them to change their minds. So, I wear my foam-dome bras to skip the repeated reminders about my nipples. (sigh) One of these days I'm just going to show up to family dinner wearing one of those trashy bras that are basically just the underwire attached to the bra band that are sold at sex shops and Frederick's of Hollywood used to have. Under the thinnest shirt I can find that's not outright sheer material.

A friend of mine didn't know that bra straps could be adjusted until she was around 20 years old and her new boyfriend at the time showed her - I asked her what she thought those little plastic/metal sliders on the straps were for, and her answer was "Decoration?"...lol. She still occasionally has strap slippage due to her proportionally more narrow shoulders than the wide set strap placement in her bra size is going to be designed to accommodate.

A little shallow in the bottom and slightly too wide of straps. Neither of which are issues for me. The 34FF was a bit too snug in the cups, but the 34G gaps quite a bit at the top of the cup, especially toward the middle. I might keep it to try an alteration on it to see if I can make the gaping less noticeable with a shirt.

    Hasn't set fit

This bra was just way too much bra for me, I am very short-waisted and it took up fully 2/3rds of my torso, I am now absolutely convinced that I have full on bottom breasts as I had immense gaping at the top, I am 34G in Freya pretty consistently but this looked and felt about 3 sizes too big in the cup. I also thought it was very ugly in the Nude. I didn't even bother to wear it , it lingers in my lingerie drawer...unloved.

The band runs somewhat big, which is typical for a Deco. The cups give a rounded shape and great cleavage, but they're quite shallow on the bottom.

Just happy to find a lower cut bra that has no boob spillage or quadboob. Feels very comfortable, and seems to have lots of support, but I need to wear it more for a better review.
