Soft, comfortable, and supportive. Minimizes bouncing downward, but upper breast tissue is free to move about. I don't fill out the top parts of the cup due to my breasts being bottom-heavy. The top seems to sit away from my skin. I tried a cup size down, with unsuccessful results- cup was way too small, I had tissue leaking out under my arms, but still didn't fill the top half of the cup. I've never gotten a good fit out of any Panache bra, though, so this is unsurprising to me.

The band size runs SMALL and is TIGHT, especially for all-day wear. Definitely a technical bra built for heavy exercise, wouldn't recommend for yoga or stretching.

The J hook in the back. Convenient if you want a racer back look. But beware- if you have long hair, your hair WILL get caught in the hook! My braid has gotten caught on it many times, causing awkward head turning, weird faces, and minor whiplash. Not cool.

If you're having trouble filling the top due to bottom heaviness, I suggest trying the nonwired sport in your regular size instead of sizing down. I wrote an extensive review of the 34FF http://www.bratabase.com/bra/dlri8/

    • Many people size down in the cups due to so much space in the top. I actually wear it in 2 cup sizes smaller than my UK size. I'm a 30J/32HH but wear this bra in 30H and 32GG. You could go up a band and then down a cup to see if that helps as well (so instead of sister sizing to a 34FF, try 34F.)

    • Thanks for the suggestions, ladies! littlechichend, I didn't realize they had a non-wired option for this bra. Your review is very convincing-- now I just have to figure out my "regular size."
I'm nervous about sizing up in the band, due to the 32 fitting well on the loosest hook, and the 34 I tried on being a bit too loose.

Has anyone tried the Panache sport top with this bra built in? Hourglassy did a great write-up on it, but I am curious for more input. It looks like a great option for hiking.

    • Hi it's wrong to try one cup size down I have the same problem I try 32h and the top was away from my skin I must go for 30J but there is no size like this so I try 32HH and I found the best fit my only problem was the band I start from second hook and I don't know what I do later

If I were in charge of naming this bra, it's name would be "Like a Boss." It looks and feels like serious armor and, indeed, I'm not going anywhere in this thing, no matter how much jumping and bending over I do. But it's so comfortable!! There is no part of this bra that pokes or pinches or digs in anywhere. There is extra cushioning in the straps, around the wires, and behind the hooks. The wires also stop way before the bra does, which makes them extra comfy (1/2 in under the arm and 2 inches in the front!). My boobs ... are separated and supported and so happy. I want to wear this everyday!

A few more things I should mention: I never ever work out, I just wanted something for every day. Though, I do watch a lot of kids at work, that's kind-of exercising.. Also, this review was written the day I bought the bra, so if anything changes, I'll come back and edit. And third, my measurement of the inside of the cup may be off. There is a double layer of fabric in the cups, and they don't lay together until you put it on. Lastly, you can wear this with straight straps or as a racer back. Awesome!

eta: It's still wonderful, I love it!

Oh man, these sports bras are insanely comfortable, even if they are sort of ugly, hah! A 32G fits me the best, other than the wires are too long and poke me in the armpits sometimes. (One side poked through the fabric; my husband bent the wire on the end so that it wouldn't poke, and I just quickly stitched the fabric back together. It's ugly, but works.) I wear them pretty much every day, all day long, but I'm not particularly active. If I did, though, these would be great at containing "the bounce." Highly recommended, even with the armpit-poking problems.

It is fine overall but I am going to order one cup smaller, as I feel it is a bit loose on the top, and I think that makes it less supportive. The band size is perfect. I don't find it too snug as some other reviews said.
Although I haven't tried it at the gym yet, it feels very confortable and supportive enough.
Straps are very well cushioned, so they are really confy. It has "hidden" underwires which is great because it gives lovely shape with 2 separated boobs but it doesn't look like underwear from the outside. It does on the back, which is a common bra ... back with 3 hooks (and an extra clip to make it racerback). The underwires are completely cushioned, they don't dig at all and you don't even fell them. As it says on the label, the breast are encapsulated individually so it gives you better support. I fell very "secured" when I wear it, even though I still feel a bit of bouncing when running in place, but I hope it gets better with one cup size smaller.
    Quality looks great.

My only concern is its performance with sweat, because it looks great on the outside, but the padded inside doesn't look very breathable. I will update this when I test it https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

    It is 49%Polyamide, 38%Polyester, 15%Elastane

I've ordered this one, Freya Active and Shock Absorber and this is one is definitely my favorite and the one I am keeping.

*Update: One cup size smaller was fine for me. I've tried it at the gym and I love it. My concerns about sweating were wrong. I don't get sweaty boobs, probably with the help of the individual encapsulation of the breast, as it avoids rubbing skin between the breasts.
It is supportive enough for fitness, aerobics, etc. Just love it!

One of my favorite sports bras - fit comfortably and offered great support for weights, core, and cardio. Only able to wear a few times before schedule no longer permitted time for working out and having a breast augmentation. Recommend.

Cup wires are a bit too wide and center gore is way too high for my preference but it does a stellar job of holding everything in AND being comfortable enough to wear on a non-sports day.

This is pretty much the best sports bra I've ever bought. It's supportive, secure, and stays in place while I'm exercising, and I don't have to layer any bras with it. To be honest, I personally do not like the pattern I have, which is a neon design; it's too loud for me.

    Fits

I was finally able to try this on at a store, and ended up getting the size I would have ordered online based on my older one that's now too large. It does give me a little bit of quad boob, which has generally been the case with this bra and I expected it as I sized down. ETA: I did change my fit information to reflect that though it cuts in, it does fit me as the other size didn't. I'm not sure if the cups do end up stretching a little at the top over time, or if I just keep shrinking, but either way, it ... all works out in the end. I did try the 32GG too and it's just too big and not supportive enough. I think this size is still really flattering despite the slight spillage, and it gives me good separation where the wires start further down in the gore. It's very supportive and for the first time I'm able to wear this model without an extender from the beginning! I wore it for a good 8-10 hours yesterday without needing to adjust it; I totally forgot I was wearing a new sports bra. I haven't even done a thing to the wires yet and they're very comfortable. The one thing that was very strange at first was the cups being low under my arms. I know this is a thing on this bra, but going two cup sizes down from last time, I feel kind of bare there. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":p" /> Still, after trying the other options in the store, I feel this is the best model for my needs (I absolutely *hated* the wire/padding-free version).

It’s very nice on you .its strange that it’s low under the armpits.i am waiting 30HH .to see how it fit.but I really like it on you .how many sizes you go down?

    • Thank you! I've lost a fair amount of weight since the first bra I bought in the style (not sure what size it was unfortunately, as the printed on information is long since worn off), but my last was a 32H. The band on that one stretched out a good 7cm after extensive wear. The band starts out pretty firm compared to other bras I've tried. Having tried on several bras on Friday, I can see that I'm generally a 32GG in Panache, but this sports bra does seem to run a little large in the cups for many people. The 32GG wasn't supportive for me, though it did avoid the spillage. I'd rather have it be more functional though. ;) I hope you like yours when it arrives!

    • I receive the bra I write a review I use the mesure tape

    • Hi do you try the 32GG ? 30H

At the time that it fit(before having children), it was a perfect fit in my size at that time. I only wore it maybe 3 times because I became pregnant soon after I purchased it.
It held me in well and I didn't pop out when doing jumping exercises.

Prior to my breast reduction, this was a great sports bra for me. It was supportive, and it was one of the only sports bras I could wear without wearing another bra either underneath or over top of it. I eventually outgrew it, but continued to wear it even though it was slightly too small for me, which of course resulted in less support. Now that I have had a breast reduction, I have too much space available in the cups, and there is a lot of wrinkling.
