Quite uncomfortable but gives the most amazing cleavage I've ever had in a properly-fitting bra. I went up a back size and most reviews seem to suggest the same. I was fitted for this bra at Bravissimo.
The Wonderbra Ultimate Plunge Bra is a specialty bra that's meant to be worn under extreme plunging necklines. It comes down lower than normal bras, similar to a longline bra, but has a U-shaped plunge. The cups don't really have wires, but they have some sort of stiff material in the bottom to help hold shape. The gore does have a wire. There is also boning in the side for support. The band has one hook, but it tightens and loosens, similar to a bra strap. The straps are multi-way.
After trying the bra in 30E and 30DD, I found that 30E fits better. The 30DD had issues with ...the cups being too small, which caused the stiff material in the bottom of the cups to sit on my breast tissue. There was also some gaping at the top. The 30E fits better, although the straps are set slightly too wide apart, causing some gaping at the top. Also, the elastic band on the 30E is much thicker than the 30DD, so it seems like it would provide better support.
Overall, I'm not a fan of the fit with the deep U plunge, but it isn't meant to be an everyday bra. Read more 92 more words
I have soft breasts, nipples slightly pointing down and aside, that is why I prefer a full cup or a balconette which will get my breasts together and push them up, so I didn't expect much from this bra.
Technically cups are not wired, instead, they have "palm", it feels like my breasts are placed into a bowl and wiggle in there freely, luckily they are not spilling over. I am 80H in European sizes and most conversion charts tell that 80H equals to 36FF but I feel that it is incorrect, it should be 36GG. Because of this "palm" wings are too high and poke hand a bit.
The belt is tight so it stays in place through the day, I don't have to adjust it. Even too tight because it leaves red marks.
Although it doesn't really fit it is still the best strapless bra I had.
This is the sister size to my 32GG, but the band and straps feel too long and the cups just don't fit at all. They squish the center of my breasts and there's a huge gap in the top outside of the cups. A 32G might fit me but I just don't think the shape works for me.
The lace detail is pretty and the color is an excellent nude for my skin color, but the band is too large for me and the cups are too small. The underwires are long and have a very defined U shape that sits on top of my breast tissue on the sides, meaning a lot of yanking and adjusting throughout the night.
There is an entire inch worth of padding on the bottom of the cups for pushup, but with the too-small cups and narrow wires means I have a very prominent muffin-top spilling over the sides of the cups. The cups also feature a non-stretchy (and slightly inward-curved) ...seam along the top edge of the cup, which makes an undesirable (but not extremely prominent) indent into my breast tissue.
The inside of the band has a clear, rubber-like lining that is meant to keep the bra in place. Because the band is too large for me anyway, the bra settles somewhere underneath my breasts so they're being shaped but not supported and I feel like I must constantly pull the bra back into place in the front. The back stays put because of the rubber grip.
The bra comes with removable nude-colored straps and clear plastic straps. Since the size of the bra is incorrect all-around, I don't find that wearing the straps adds any additional support, but they do keep the bra from sliding too much. Read more 128 more words
The lace makes it a bit more fragile than my other bras, and it’s developing a split where I grab it to turn it around to the front. but it has had hard wear, to be fair, and has held up well.
* The bra has a bar closure? I'm not sure what it's called, but the long hook that slides vertically into a loop of elastic? * The band adjusts ~2-3 inches. I was able to get it tight enough for the support I needed. I usually wear a 36 band, so I'd say you safely sister up/down one band size to get the cup volume you need. * The band is also on the thicker side. It has a nice, significant, supportive feel to it. * The stretch on the band is very tight and firm. It feels like if would hold up well to a lot of wears without getting ...stretched out. * The cups have plastic molds inside them, which provide most of the support/shape. Before I tightened the band, they dug into my sides pretty badly, which is what all that redness is in the photo. After I tightened the band and it stopped sliding down, they didn't really bother me anymore. * The straps are very adjustable and removable. Tightening them helped give me a little more cleavage, but not much. * I could definitely move around, bend over, and stretch without having to worry about falling out. * With the exception of the plastic mold digging in when it was loose, it felt pretty comfortable to wear.
All in all, it fits about as well as one can expect a special occasion bra like this to fit. It seemed to accommodate my projected shape reasonably *enough*. Supportive *enough* to give you an attractive bit of lift and keep yourself from having a mammary mishap. Comfortable *enough* to wear a few hours at a time. If you're DD-G and really need a bra that'll work with a plunging neckline, I'd say it's certainly worth checking out. Read more 186 more words
Got this for my sister in hopes of getting her into a better fitting bra. Will update if I can get her to try this on. This definitely a plunge, the gore is basically nonexistent and the wires don't even come close to overlapping in the front. I think this would be good for someone with firmer, shallower, self-supporting breasts so they don't slide out the middle. Pretty black mesh over a soft satiny pink-beige material. While technically unpadded, there's also an "acti-curve technology" which feels like a thick piece of cardboard at the wire, not sure what the point of it is but we'll see if it is comfortable.
Super comfy. Runs small in. The cup. I quad like crazy, but it lessens if I narrow the gore. Worth trying one size up,for me and narrowing the gore. Gives really amazing cleavage even if I didn't quad. Band feels nice. Hoping the cups don't close in on top too quickly even when I size up.
Theres alot to say about this bra, but more articulate bloggers have already captured most of the issues and highlights of this particular item. My only recommendation is to ignore the cup width measurements on this bra! It doesn't have unwire, it has firm plastic inserts that wrap around your ribs and lift your breasts. It's impossible to get an accurate width measurement. I got this in my usual size of a 30G and it fit damn near perfectly. Though I wish I'd got the 30FF to enhance cleavage a bit more. Oh well, live and learn!
This fit perfectly when I bought it. This bra is INCREDIBLE. When I wore it, I never had to adjust, not once. I wish I had discovered it earlier. The band is quite firm and I found the cups to run true to size, maybe a tad small. I am currently closer to a 30G/GG and I can still wear this one comfortably with a smidge of quadding if I have to, though I should size up to the 30G at some point. There's no underwire, but the plastic "hands" are totally supportive, and the lack of underwire makes this bra so comfy! The hands do cause ...the wings to be pretty high on me. It not uncomfortable, but it makes the bra fairly visible with most tops/dresses you might wear it with. It takes a bit to get used to since it sits a bit lower and fits differently than a normal bra, but it's just really awesome. Totally recommend. I wish they made more sizes though, like 28 bands and bigger cups! It's us ladies with bigger cups that need and amazing strapless like this! Read more 80 more words
This push up bra is, unsurprisingly, way too small for a 32E/30F. No idea how it would fit someone the right size. It does have interesting cross over straps at the back which are good to mention.
Stunning bra with an Old Hollywood glamour feel. The shade of the red satin is absolutely divine, and the lace is unlike any lace I've seen on a bra before. It's a gorgeous pattern and really soft.
Because the material is so soft, the band just feels too loose even on the tightest hook. You don't get that snug, supportive feeling from this bra.
The heavy padding in the bottom of the cup makes it pretty shallow there; it's designed to push everything up, and the very open-on-top cup gives a really 'boudoir bra' look.
The fit is terrible on me, but if I'd have managed to find the whole matching set, I would have definitely kept it as a bedroom-only bra!
this is an incredibly strange feeling bra. its just....odd. i cant quite figure out whats up with the fit, maybe the cups are too large? it feels like, while the band is snug and the cups are technically covering and touching my boobs, its not really making much contact. especially at the outside upper corner and outside of the cup, it feels quite empty. there's not really a feeling of being pushed up or in or anything, its just kind of a nicely shaped boob hat? which i guess works, since my breasts arent heavy or in need of a ton of support, just coverage and a nice ...shape for under a bridesmaid dress. the bra is very firmly molded, so i get the nice round shape that it has under clothes, without my boobs really being a part of the equation. its a bit like wearing a piece of armor, hah! i cant say i enjoy wearing it so far, but it'll hopefully do the job.
im concerned about the band, because ive only been wearing it about 15 minutes so far, and its already uncomfortable. while im standing its not a problem, and feels snug but not strangling, but while sitting it digs into the top of my stomach. its and oddly shaped band in the front, so im not surprised, but i hope if i wear it for a while before the wedding, itll loosen up a smidge there. im going to be doing a lot of sitting down there, and i dont want to feel like im being cut in half.
the cups are quite tall, and when i sit with my arms in front of me (like now when im typing) its especially noticeable how high up in my pits they get. i havent tried it with the dress yet, but i hope its not so tall that it shows! i also can really tell about the empty space, i feel like i could cut the top half of the cup off and it would fit better. i dont have much upper fullness, so i kind of knew going in that strapless bras and i were likely not going to mesh, and im guessing thats why i have so much empty space in there.
all in all, itll do the job, but i probably wont reach for it as a daily wear bra, because its just not worth the awkward feeling of strapless bras. im not really sure how to measure this thing, since i cant discern any wires and its oddly constructed, but i'll do my best! Read more 323 more words
Looks good and unnoticeable under clothing, but makes my breasts look a bit pointy and very separated. Fits quite well but not great in the cups. A bit tight around the ribcage.
Edit: scrap that, i washed it once and now the band is wayyy too loose and the cups fit too small, what is up with that?
It's cute and was on sale for 15$, which was great considering I hadn't had a bra I could wear in the last 3 months. I'm really a 34DDD so I did not expect a perfect fit but it's decent enough. Cups fits great, band fits well on the tightest hook. Underwires are too tall and tend to poke me when I'm sitting, the straps are also too far apart for me which might be because I'm not a 36 band -or not, I have really wide shoulders.
It's a basic bra with a cute lace band and a nice pleated ribbon on the straps. Would recommend to someone tall with round centered boobs and large shoulders
I ordered this bra because I've never been able to find anything D+ from this brand in the shops, I found it at a great price, and of course it seemed pretty. Well, pretty it is, and seems comfortable enough: lightweight, no poking. I'm usually between 32/34 and in this case a 32 would be better, as I have to hook the 34 on the tightest hook. The cups are a little big and a little small at the same time: creasing at the top and spilling at the bottom. I suppose it's just the wrong cut for me, as my boobs always tend to try and escape in the middle and this bra is just too open with almost zero separation. In spite of this, the shape it gives is rather pointy and quite east/west. It's a pity that it will have to go back, but... interesting learning experience https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
