    Hasn't set fit

Damn love that red bra. Ive tried this bra before in 30FF and was too large and too tight. I decided to get my usual comexim size 70G with added cookie pockets. I also requested high waist panties which are just great and so soooooft!
Wires. Wires are perfect for my narrow roots, soft and bit flexible - so as I love them. The gore is perfect height, no discomfort or whatsoever.
Band. I must say it does run little looser than my other Comexims bu! I do go to the gym, and I do excercises that are affecting the area where the band lays on. I noticed with ... couple of bras that I can switch to tighter set of hooks. The band is well made with two layers of a fabric - the top is same as the cups and bottom part is black supermesh or whatever is called. It stays put on in one place, no riding up, no discomfort caused by the elastics.
Cups. I did request cookie pockets but now regret that. I put on weight and most of my padded bras are just tad too small (around half size). The quadboobs are little visible under tight tshirts but, cmon, who cares? https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Its not 75B or C that I should be worrying about poor fitting. Little quadboobs are not hurting me and anyone around me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" /> However, with next order I wont order cookie pockets, ill just go with 70G and 13cm wires as usual.
Strap placement. I do feel like this bra has narrower straps. I didnt request moved in straps, but it feels so good not to have straps in my armpits that cause red marks.

Panties. I requested high waist style. I asked for size M but with looser leg part - unfortunately this wasnt done and theyre little too tight on my bump/legs, however I can still wear them - maybe they will loosen up with a wear!

This set it perfect if youre looking for juicy bloody red coloured underwear! LOVE IT!!!

Is it possible to cut out the cookie pocket &/or padding? I've done both in bras before to add more depth space. Sometimes it works, others ended up epic failures, but it's something to consider if you are wanting to eliminate the quad issue. :-)
It is a wonderfully striking red color though.

    • 1

MamaPagan I thought about it.. but what if one day Ill loose that 10kg that im kind of working on ? :D I might try the surgery if within next 3 months I wont loose at least 3-4kg. Im planning to get another colour in 70G without pockets so fingers crossed!
the red is just unbelievable. I show it to my BF and straigt away he said he love it (I heard it only about 5-6 of my bras (out of 50?))

    • 1

      Sounds like a solid plan!
And I know what you mean. Rarely does my hubby show anything other than indifference to most of my bras, haha. Desensitized to so many I guess. :-) It's always a plus when a new one gets a positive reaction for sure.

    • 2

MamaPagan well, thats why we need to buy lots of new bras to see which ones get more attention - so we can later just get similar, right? :D or am i just making anothe excuse to spend chunk of my salary on new pieces.... ?

    • 1

Haha! No, I think you do have it correct. We need to buy more to figure it out for sure. :-D

    • 1

good.. for a moment I though that I'm crazy.... haha :D

    • 1

Nope, or if you are then so am I (and many others on here too!) Either way, you are not alone in your thinking! :-)

Gorgeous candy apple red! I loved Eris and the glittering apples for the same reason. :-)

    Didn't fit

I have been having trouble nailing down the sizing for the Wellfitting Unicorn Classic Demi so Joanna over at Wellfitting sent me two Liftsational Classic Demi in 28R and 30R to try out. She told me that since they use European cup sizing (2 cm instead of 1 inch), the calculator is very off for small band/big cup sizes. To get the necessary 13” of depth that I’d need in a bra, I would have to go with their R cup.

The bra is very well constructed and is a lovely silky material. It feels very soft. The wires are narrow, and the bottom of the cups fit well, especially on my larger side. The only issue is the top of the cups and the strap separation. The cups are comically tall for my lack of tissue, they measure 9” high. The straps are very wide and I have to halter neck them to not rub against my tail of spence. I would really like to know what percentage of people can wear this bra unaltered.

This is who this bra fits: http://www.weirdlyshaped.com/2015/04/wellfittings-bravantgarde-demi.html

I think either you are much shorter rooted or the bra is too big. How do smaller sizes fit? You also might like the Plunge better if you have short roots because it is less open on top.

    • 1

The 32K - Wellfitting » Unicorn Classic Demi fits me on the top, except that it is only 10" deep. If I wear it for more than 2 minutes I get terrible pain behind my nipple in my larger breast.

    • Comexim will add "more depth at the wire" which could be really helpful to you. This would allow you to wear a less tall/wide size and have enough space lower in the cup. Also, you can order a specific wire width and cup depth. Plus, a long list of other alterations.

I'm both very short-waisted and have short-ish roots that squat across my chest and in my armpits. For a Comexim to fit, I would require all the aforementioned alterations. Geez.

    • 1

That's a 28M sister size you previously tried. So this one is 5 sizes bigger. I wonder if you could split the difference.

    • i just measured my CK Daily Dream and I'm surprised that the cup height is almost the same as this one. The CK Daily Dream's cups curve back toward the body, making a C shape. These just go straight up, making it not fit. I'm wondering if they cut the top two inches off the cups off if it'd be better.

    • Love4Pollinators Does Wellfitting provide customizations also? They weren't clear on that from their website. I really love the pattern on the Unicorn bra, I didn't see it on Comexim's site.

    • Yup that's short roots. I really found the plunge to work better for my short roots and long boobs. In larger sizes it is not shallow at the bottom like people find in smaller cup sizes.

    • But I have no idea if they would make the unicorn bra in a plunge.

    • 2

They used to offer alterations. Beg? ;-)

    • 3

I feel like something got very lost in translation! These cups have empty space not only above but below and on the sides, so basically they're not just a bad shape... they contain double the volume you need. If you have conical or super projected breasts or both then I question whether a demi is ever going to be adaptable to your shape, so that could be part of the problem. Do you have a bra here on Bratabase that fits somewhat well or that at least allows your natural shape in a bra to be more discernible so we can compare? Maybe do a fit request using that one and specify you would like to find a comexim or wellfitting model that works instead, and to determine a size range?

wendybien 28JJ - Curvy Kate » Ellace Balcony Bra (CK4401) but no pictures available.

I have pictures of the 32K Unicorn bra (not uploaded) that doesn't fit, except that it appears like it does. It's hard to explain to people that something looks great but hurts like hell because it is too small.

    • wendybien I put up a fit request on the Unicorn bra.

    • Awesome I will go and take a look.

    • 1

It really looks like you should go with 28N for a better fit. If the 32K looked like it fit but was too tight in the cup, and the 28 band fits you better, the 28N would be a cup up from the 32K, giving you added depth yet not so much that you are swimming in it. At most a 28O, but honestly I think that would give you gaping.

    • MamaPagan I guess I don't understand what cup depth is for. The 28JJ - Curvy Kate » Ellace Balcony Bra (CK4401) that I have on is 14" deep. This one is 10. If I go up another cup size it should be about 11. All bras that I've tried thus far with less than 13" depth make me hurt. I don't understand how much depth I can take off before it causes pain.

    • Most bras have some stretch in the cup so a straight measurement can be misleading. Also, the depth measurement is just at one point in the cup while the cup itself is 3D so again making the depth measurement misleading. Try not to focus as much an a measurement number as much as the fit and how it feels. Also padded or lined bras always feel different than unpadded ones.
I wear 30K in Curvy Kate and 60O and 65N in Comexim. What fits me is all over the place in regards to cup depth though! :)

  3. Me: Narrow roots, narrow shoulders, evenly round, lots of immediate projection, very soft tissue, slightly FoB, slightly centre full, splayed, never met a gore I didn't like, left-heavey by more than a cup size, 31" underbust, but prefer tight band with extender. Panache, Freya size 30GG

Nicely narrow immediately projected well padded cups. Still getting a little creasing at the bottom of the cup so not quite enough immediate projection. Ribbed, fully adjustable wide straps and three hooks. Straps set a touch too wide.

Overlapping narrow centre gore, but only just tall enough for me not to fall out of. Tacks, ... but could sit tighter. Essentially functions like a plunge for me. Fairly average half cup height. I'd prefer a little more height at the gore and probably the cups too - but that is for soft tissue. Accepts centre fullness as is, but not sure it would with a little more height. No side boning but good tall wings.

Band is pretty loose (no extender and on column three of four) but cups are pretty small.

    Edit
Alteration: I moved the right strap in 2 cm and the left strap in 1 cm. Rubbing under the arms has stopped and assymetry is corrected. I can't raise the centre gore myself and I can't change the immediate projection.

Wellfitting orders from Comexim, and it shows. This bra is gorgeous, comfortable, well constructed, and very very supportive. Unfortunately the cups are too tall/I need to go down a cup size or so for it to really fit-the cups project up over my bust. I am admittedly very short rooted, though, so I don't think this would be an issue for someone with taller roots.

What a lovely bra! The fabric is beautiful, and I love the golden ribbon along the top of the cup. It seems open enough for my FOT shape, and the cup is definitely deep enough. There's enough immediate projection for my pendulous breasts, and the whole bra is very comfortable. Unfortunately, the gore just doesn't tack! I don't know if its the soft wires, or if my breasts are too close-set and are pushing it out a bit. I get a soft tack, but as a result there's gaping in the top of the cup. When I push the gore firmly against my sternum, the cup depth seems about right. So close, and yet so far!

This bra is really nice and high quality, exactly what one would expect from a bra manufactured by Comexim. It fits like any of their 3HCs. Despite the ribbon along the top edge, the bra is pretty open on top and would probably work for even/FOT shapes. Since I'm FOB with short roots, I might see if they'll make it with reduced cups next time. Wellfitting won't overlap the gore on this model, which was surprising to me since Comexim is willing to do that alteration on their halfcups, but that's not a dealbreaker for me.

Now that I've thoroughly nitpicked the fit, let me balance that out by ... saying it's a nearly perfect fit on me. This is a great choice for narrow, projected breasts, and the band is TTS. It's so nice to find a company that sells 26 bands as a non-custom option. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

It's also worth noting that this is probably the most beautiful beige bra I've ever owned. The shimmery fabric and lovely details combine to make a bra that's simple and elegant.

This is the first bra that gives me cleavage! It makes me look a bit wide under certain shirts, but there is still some nice separation and great lift, and the apices of my breasts are front and center thanks to the narrow wires and overlapping gore. This is the most supportive bra I've ever worn. The vertical seams show through a bit under t shirts, but I've decided that it's worth it and helps counteract the east/west appearance. The wires are soft and pliable which is wonderful. At the end of the day, the bottoms of my breasts aren't sore (hurray!) but they do feel a bit ... squashed at the apices - this bra seems a bit too shallow for me at the apices. However, my tissue is pretty soft so this wasn't painful even after a full day of wear, and it's nice to have a more rounded shape than my usual tiny mosquito bite cones (which I reserve for when I'm feeling "natural"). This was projected enough at the wire, though it could have been more so to accommodate my natural shape, I found that the depth tapers off more immediately than my natural shape, helping to lift the tissue more than any other bra I've tried. I hope that makes sense - basically if you're full on bottom but shallow on top with tall roots and soft tissue, I recommend giving this a try!

I had a feeling this bra wouldn't fit but I needed to know some things about Comexim's 3HC cut.

Yeah it don't work for me. Despite the band being too long and the cup one size too small, I can tell even in the right size the 3HC lacks apex projection I must have. The apex is too high and there's not enough of it. So even on my small side which should fit this bra, I get a weird lumpy, fold-over on top of my roots thing.

Be aware, immediate projection and apex projection are different, and chances are if you are omega you need both.

The bottom line: If this doesn't work for you, don't give up on Comexim bras in general.

The good: This is a beautiful, neutral colored bra that works very well as a nude with my pale skin tone. The fabric has a lovely sheen to it, the padding is lightweight, and I love the golden ribbon across the top. The immediate projection in this style (the 3HC) is second to none - it is the only bra I've found thus far that stays in my IMF.

Now, I've read quite a few reviews of both Wellfitting and Comexim bras in other sizes, and I'm the first person I've seen ... who finds the bras to fit really differently. I assume this must be because I'm at the far end of their size range. The measurements between a Wellfitting 44J 3HC and a Comexim 44J 3HC are pretty much the same with the exception of gore height (the Comexim is about three quarters of an inch lower), and that could be because the Comexim I have in a 44J is unlined, but they fit really, really differently. I don't think it's just because one is lined and one is unlined, as I tried another padded Comexim 3HC in a 95HH that fit a lot better than either of the Wellfitting bras, as well.

I also find the grading to be really odd in terms of cup width - the width increases a LOT when you go from 100H to 100HH, to the tune of almost three quarters of an inch. The wires being used in the Wellfitting bra also seem much softer than the wires in the two Comexims I've tried.

What this means in practical terms is that if you are in this size range, the Wellfitting 3HC is a perfectly nice bra in its own right, but it is not a way to try a Comexim 3HC without custom ordering. I couldn't get the gores to tack in either of the Wellfitting bras I tried, and I wasn't getting the stability I need with breasts my size and weight. However, having tried Comexims in what ended up being a size too large and a size too small, both bras worked much, much better for me, even though they clearly weren't a proper fit. I ended up keeping the too large one and seriously considered keeping the too small one before passing it on to my sister.

    Didn't fit

Found the new format 100percentawesome is using really helpful, so I'm gonna yoink it, if that's okay. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

Shape: Projected, even-center full, narrow-tall roots, soft tissue.

THE TAKEAWAY: It's a 3HC (three-section or two-seam half-cup) with plenty of projection and a very uplifted round shape. A bit too closed on top for my shape, which causes quadding in the HH (my usual size). The jade color is stunning, and the black ribbon embellishment really elevates the design (and was my original motivation for choosing the half-cup instead of the plunge). It's not quite a t-shirt bra, though, because the seams show under ... thin material.

THE DETAILS: A bit frustrating. The 32HH quads, but the gore tacks; here, the gore doesn't quite tack, which results in a bit of gaping on my right side, which in turn impacts the roundness of the fit. (I'm mostly symmetrical, to the point where sometimes it seems like the left is a little bigger, sometimes it seems like the right is...) This could also be being caused by my center-fullness.

Wellfitting's 365 day return policy means I'll be holding onto this bra for a while as I consider the fit (it's so beautiful and so close...), but I think I'll go ahead and send back the 32HH, which is DEFINITELY too small...

ETA: Okay, I'm coming around to thinking this is actually too big in the cups; that as a result, my center fullness is pushing the soft wires out of shape in the middle, causing the gaping and the odd shape.

Alternate solutions: harder wires might make this size work, or a more open cup on the HH, which I think would serve me better in a half cup than it did in the Pl Blekitek I bought the other day. (Too little support when combined with its very low gore; I ran a block or so and then had to stop because it hurt.)

    • I'm flattered that you yoinked the format, carry on! Glad it's useful :D

    • <3 I didn't do it just here but I was also sleepy. I think it's a great way of structuring these.
