Wow. I am amazed. Why haven't I discovered Wacoal before?! This is the most comfortable bra ever, the wires are perfect in width and the cups are wonderfully soft. The band is ever so slightly too big, but I sam so happy with this fit that I am able to overlook it. It is a keeper!
Wacoal makes bras I love. They rarely fit without alterations, but the materials and support are excellent. This bra has several design elements I sincerely appreciate: 1. Limited stretch straps 2. Wide straps (.7" like Comexim and Curvy Kate) 3. Silky smooth fabrics 4. 3 hook fastener (like Comexim and Curvy Kate) 5. Supportive band
I've had one hell of a time finding a bra that fits my short-waisted physique. My breast roots are short and often mistaken for a smaller size....or two. Even in the right size, wings and gores are too tall for comfort. Inspired by cupandahalf 's adventures, I will trim these wires shorter and/or replace the wires with ...shorter specimens. This will create more space for my center-full, close-set breasts and may allow the wire to sit in my IMF. Without alterations, this bra, like over 100 others, pushes out of my IMF quickly: center fullness will do that.
The cup is supportive, holds all my tissue easily, and the fabrics are very comfortable. I'll add some cotton flannel (thanks, maddy2596 ) to protect my sensitive nipples and feel a bit more comfortable when our temperatures soar beyond 100 degrees F. My lined bras are simply too HOT for summer.
Outstanding design characteristics and a cool bra for summer.
EDIT: Replacing the wires with #42 Bravo Bella wires dramatically improved my comfort. Still, I prefer padded wire channels in Wacoal Bodysuede, and I'll create a wire padding feature for Supporting Role. This seems a more breathable fabric than Bodysuede. Summer will soon declare a lightweight winner. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" />
This was my first well-fitting bra when I had more weight on me. It is soft and cozy with a bit of stretch. The cups were my first unlined cups. They are seamless. The straps are still firm, and if you are on the larger end of the 32DDD size range, it would still be supportive enough for you to wear around the house.
Got this in nude for extremely cheap at TJ Maxx. It was okay when I didn't have much else in this size range, but the wires were way too tall on the sides and poked me. I wasn't in love with the matronly appearance, either.
This is one size too small. My compressible tissue causes this to look better than it feels. Within three minutes, detailed impressions of the lace across the top of the cup were on my breasts, and my underarm was aching from the too-narrow wire. I'm in wireless bras until the pain subsides.
32DDD has thinner straps than 34DDD. But, the gore width, cup depth, wing height, and gore height are nearly identical to the 34DDD. The big difference is cup width and cup height.
Just as beautiful as my nude one!! The only difference is that the band feels a little more snug than the nude one, other than that the fit is the same. Love it!! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
This beautiful bras where a gift by my wonderful Husband ( he gave me two, one in nude and one in black.. yes!! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> ) this review is for the nude one, I just can't believe what a sweet and feminine bra it is!! It reminds me of one of the first bras I ever used.. Soooo pretty with the lace. The band is one of the smallest I have in wacoal, it is a little stretchy, but not that much, it is very comfortable. The straps are adjustable all the way and very comfortable too. The cups are super cute, the ...lace at the top of the cups is elastic which gave me just a little cuadboob in my bigger boob (during my PMS), so I am hoping that in a few days I won't have that problem, it gives a perfectly rounded shape and the lift is great, I have read reviews that said that the fabric was too thin and that the cups ran small but I don't think so, for me it is very true to size, of course if you are looking for a t-shirt bra this won't do, (It is an unlined bra) also read some reviews that said that the lift wasn't good but as I already said for me it worked great, I really love the wacoal brand, very well made bras and true to size!! I love this bra. It is comfortable and supportive and the lace adds an elegant touch. The cups are thin and slightly stretchy which allows for a natural shape and no gapping, which is a problem I usually have. The material is a tad bit thin which doesn't bother me, but may bother someone who prefers more modesty.
This bra is comfortable and has a firm band. Despite the soft cup, the fabric is thick enough that I don't have issues with nipple show-through. I'be bought this bra three times: first in 36D, then later bought two in 32DDD after weight loss. The older one was my favorite everyday bra. It needs break-in time, but I love the fact that the cups are good coverage for bottom-heavy ladies without being too much bra.
