    Didn't fit

I had this bra in 30DD, same color, sold it trying to keep a minimal bra wardrobe. Then I see it for cheap and buy it again. This is simply a great, comfy option for a t-shirt bra.

My other moulded bras right now consist of a 28E Deco which mostly fits but is still pretty uncomfortable, not something I want to wear every day of the week. It gapes easily. My other is a 28E Deco soft cup, which fits terribly and gets painful after a long day.. still searching for it in a 28F.

This bra is great because it is comfy - not prone to ... gaping, smooth silhouette. Nothing like a stiff Deco. It isn't a perfect fit, but it tends to deal well with my shape, just creasing slightly at the bottom of the cup. I do believe the wires are prone to stretching wide, so if you need narrow cups it is best not to wear the band tight. My old one had a looser band but seemed narrower, while when i pull this newer one on the wires seem wide.

This bra is a must have for me - until I find something better. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

  2. I can't believe I've waited so long to try this one! I'm more of a 30E but I find this 30DD to be a good fit - I think a 30DDD would be too big. I bought it used but the band is still tighter than expected. I was expecting the worst after my last B.Tempt'd Wacoal bra!

The beige color is one of the lightest beige bras I've owned - I'm not sure if that's a good thing for me, but it might help someone. It's much lighter than my Natori Feathers beige bra.

The cups are soft but thin - I've been on an unlined bra and bralette kick, so honestly it feels a little thick to me, but it will be nice to have something with more padding.

    • Although the gore is too wide for me, I was thoroughly impressed with this bra! I'm thrilled you've discovered it, too :-)

  3. Edit: After a week a wrinkle is developing in the outer bottom edge of both cups. I believe it is a shape issue, not a volume issue. This bra would be better for someone with a bit more fullness on the bottom than the top.
The cups fit perfectly and it sits seamlessly under a shirt, the band runs tight for a 30 but fits my 29" snugly at the outside hook. I feel very secure and non-bouncy when it is on, so it works well for when my breasts are feeling particularly sensitive.
The lace band is unfortunately very scratchy, but I am hoping a few washes and time will soften that. The molded cup is very thin and subject to getting very easily misshapen and wrinkled, so it will need a lot of care with wash and storage.

    Didn't fit

This review is for the color: Sand/Ivory

I picked this up after having great luck with Wacoal’s Basic Beauty and Basic Benefits. For this particular bra I had to size up to a 32G. At this point I’m not sure if their other bras run big in the cup, or this one runs small in the cup (which I’m thinking is the case). Nonetheless I have this in 32G. The straps are on the thin side for being a G cup with the first half of the strap being reinforced with a non-stretch material. I also find these straps run short and most likely won’t adjust long enough for ... taller ladies. The band only has two hooks even in this size. The cups are pretty thin for a moulded cup with a less forgiving edge sewn along the top of the cup. One of the reasons I opted for a G and not a DDD as with my very round, center full breast I had major quad-boobage with the DDD. I’d say for me this is a pretty good fit. I get more lift and separation with this size. Will be perfect for under dresses and shirts where I need a smooth cup with wider set straps. Quality is pretty good, but the lace might pill with constant wash and wear as it has on the soft cup Embrace Lace I purchased secondhand.

Isn't it funny how simple/plain cups are so much more appealing when the band is pretty? I do love the lacy band.

MamaPagan I totally agree with you. I think that was one of the reasons I even tried this bra. Sometimes wearing my basic workhorse bras gets boring. My husband even said “I like that. Looks really nice.”. After wearing it more the wires are a bit too wide, but in a pinch it gets the job done. I needed something with wider set straps for more open necklines where my Basic Beauty bra just doesn’t cut it.

As long as it's comfortable and serves it purpose then it's a worthwhile purchase for sure. The cute band is just an added perk! :-)

    For details, read http://bra.pe/XQZE/

Mahogany Rose is an incredible skin tone match for me. I'm white as paper with lots of pink undertone. Invisible.

Another candidate for wild alterations. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> Wacoal materials are better than most and can be found slightly used for little money. These make them my best options for alterations.

Edit: This band was the tightest of the three Wacoals I recently purchased. When I replaced the wires with shorter wires and loosened one side of the wire channel at the gore so it could fold over the other wire channel, the band became too big. The cups fit significantly ... better (i.e. more comfortably) now.

This is yet another example of short roots + center-full fit challenges. Before the alteration, the wires were sitting on a fairly significant amount of breast tissue. At least 1.5" of band width was occupied by my short breasts. They never exude through the top of a cup (e.g. you see no evidence that this bra is too small in the photos). But, when the center gore could collapse, my breasts could better fit into the cups. Now the cups fit, and the wires no longer compress my breasts. But, the once-firm-band is now too long. ; -) Thankfully, that is an easy alteration, too. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />

@cupandahalf One of the wire pairs you generously shared with me are perfect replacements. Thank you!

Tight band!! This cappuccino colorway Embrace Lace barely stretches past 28". It is probably new or nearly new condition. The cups stretch with the band, making them wider than I need. Tried on with an extender. Would be better on someone with a smaller underbust who would stretch it less, or someone who needs wider cups.

This size is a bit too big for me, and unfortunately the cups seem to get taller as I size up.

    • Swapping the wires might make it more comfortable.
AlI of the Bravo Bella wires are shorter at the wings. Like you, tall wings bother me. Ugh

    • And, I likely have a pair of flex wires I can send you that will fit :-)

I didn't realize until after writing the review that this is two cup volumes larger than my 30DD. I will see if a 30E or 32DD comes my way first! There is some hope left haha. Thanks for the offer!

This bra is especially good for women with pendulous and full on bottom breasts because it distributes tissue evenly in the cup for maximum comfort.

Love this bra! Looks great (though a little simple), is super comfortable, and is smooth under almost all clothing. The thinner, less structured cups took a little getting used to, but it's not so thin it becomes obscene. Wore out pretty quickly, however. I got a solid year of good usage out of it, but then on it started feeling loose and a bit saggy. It didn't have the same look anymore. Of the two I bought at the same time, the nude color actually wore out more quickly than the black for some reason.

As others have said this band seems to run a size small! Or at least is feels tighter than the other Wacoal bras I have owned. Besides that the main issue I have with with bra is the lack of projection. I'm full on bottom and pretty middle of the line between projected and shallow. Mine forms a weird almost fold at the bottom of the cup by the end of the day of wearing it, due to it shifting out of my IMF. I think the strange fit in the cup contributes to the band feeling tighter than it actually is. My other gripe with this bra is that the straps CONSTANTLY fall off my shoulders during the day. why is this bra so wide. why
I found the lace in the band is comfortable. I like the flexibility of the foam cups.
As for the color, the "sand" seems a little too light for my skin tone. It is paler than most fair skinned nude bras.
