No matter how much a manufacturer pads their wires, .9" gore widths are still too wide. And, Wacoal is not known for center projection. This bra seems well-suited for average root width, average projection, average space between breasts. I would really appreciate an unlined @Wacoal for close-set, center-full, immediately projected breasts. However, the other Awareness features are so wonderful, I'll purchase a used model and replace/trim wires to a suitable size and overlap the gore wires for ...my short-waisted, close set, center-full self.
The lift and rounding are excellent. In fact, this is my favorite unlined shape, to date.
Sincerely, if comfort is important, Wacaol thoughtfully designs bras with comfort in mind. These features are expensive and time consuming, but I now better understand the list price.
I'll post an update when I've successfully modified the gore on a used model. Read more 67 more words
Although I adore the wide variety of colors available in this model, the cushy straps, the padded wires, I need more center projection. Wacoal Bodysuede ( http://www.bratabase.com/bra/dinh4/ ) has better center projection than Awareness in this size.
Really nice bra, very comfortable everyday bra, the shape and lift are very natural, the straps are super comfortable, they only adjust half way, the band is pretty snug for a 32 band, it feels like my size 30 Cleo bands, I have a few wacoal bras, all of them 32, and none are as snug as this one.
Super comfortable!! Love it for an everyday bra, I have one in 32 DD, wich fits but it is a little tight, but this one is the best!! The band is super comfortable, I like it better than the 32 DD because it has three hooks and that is super nice, the gore in this one lays almost flat, but not really, the one in the 32 DD does, The straps are wide and does not adjust all the way, it gives a round shape and the lift is very natural, and the support is great. Really en love with this bra!!
I've outgrown this size now, but I wore this style/size for a long time because in the past I had found Wacoal bras to be the most comfortable and best fit for me, and once I had outgrown Wacoal's DDD bras. this style was the only Wacoal that was available in a G cup in my local department stores.
This bra used to fit me all right, and was comfortable, but did not gift a ton of lift or shaping (even compared to other Wacoal styles). Although the front of the cup is seamless and smooth (which I like under t-shirts and other knits), there is a side support sling which provides some shaping, bringing breasts to the center.
In general, I have found Wacoals to be very durable.
