My shape: tallish, widish, splayed roots, very close set at the top; evenly full top and bottom; slightly center full; pendulous; need a good bit of depth at the wire. Best fits are Panache 34G/36FF.

Oh deary dear, the fit of this bra on me is a hot mess! I have to wrestle my boobs into it but they escape out the sides at the first opportunity. Gore has not a prayer of tacking. The flexxy wires slide below my imf. I thought at first that was because the band is a little tight, causing wire distortion, but they still slide down with an extender. Maybe the cups are ... a little small, but I think it's more of a shape issue, primarily the cup is too stiff or shallow at the gore where I have fullness, and possibly it's a little shallow at the wire as well. Don't take my fit issues too much to heart. I have a particularly difficult time with padded bras and still have not found one that fits.

Well, on to the bra! Vestiva brand is made by Gaia. This model has thin padding that's a little stiffer than Impimi's but not as stiff as Ava's. The print fabric covering the cups and band is a soft, cottony knit. Band is lined with soft mesh. Straps and edging are smooth knitwear. There are no side stays and the closure is 2 hooks spaced 1cm apart.

The band will stretch well beyond the stretched measurements given, but as mentioned the wires are soft and distort easily. It's probably best to size up in the band if you are near the top of the range for your usual size. If you sometimes wear different cup sizes you might want to go with the smaller of the two.

It's cute, well made and inexpensive. If padded bras work for you this might be one to try.

Same here. I tried this cut from Gaia's collection (Reese) and it looked even worse on me. I probably ordered it one cup size too small. The band was OK. And the gore was totally floating, about 2 cm from my chest. It didn't look like going up a cup size would change anything. I had also extremely pointy shape, this one looks quite nic on you from the side. It was my first and only padded Gaia, I've decided it'll be better to stick to semi-soft versions :D

    • Do you think the sizing on these bra's is accurate? What I mean is, do you think the manufacturer uses 1" or 1/2" difference in grading the cups sizes? I would really like to try one of these, but don't know if I should go with my "normal" size 32D, or size up to a 32DD or more.
      thanks

I forgot to add that I am center-full too, and I agree that this might be the reason of the gore not tacking.

    • WelshCorgiPembroke thanks for your input! I can see where you would get the pointy shape if the cup is too small because the top section seems a little flat. Reviewing the measurements I think I ordered the right cup size, it's definitely a shape mismatch. Thanks also for confirming my suspicion about center fullness being a factor.

finallygotboobs I think it's pretty accurate. I'm a 30F in UK bras and the 65F in this Gaia was too small in the cups and OK in the band, so it seems that my index size (65G in this case) would fit (well, in terms of size, still totally mismatched shape). But I must say that Gaia's sizing is weird. I have lots of their bras and the sizes vary greatly, even in the same cut - i have the SS2 in 65E and 65F, the SS5 in 65F and all of them fit while the SS10 in 65F was too small, and the padded ones were OK in 65G. Total mess :D

moriko I think they probably use 1". I usually wear index size 34:9 or if the band is very firm or wires distort easily I sister size to 36:8. This bra has index size 34:8 and I do think the cups are large enough, just not a good fit for my shape.

If you are very fot you might want the larger cup, otherwise I'd say stick with your usual size. I hope it fits you!

Sorry, I should have addressed my previous comment to moriko :)

    • This print is lovely!!

    • I would try this simply for the adorable pattern on it but only 30F & 30H are left, neither of which would work for me!

My shape: full on bottom, soft tissue, narrow shoulders/roots.
Special thanks to MamaPagan for sending me this bra (and many others!) to try on!
Appearance and fit: This bra is a really cute, soft cotton bra with an interesting pattern that looks like eye charts from an optometrist's office. The straps are a wider, stretchy elastic, and are set pretty wide. (Though, since the bra is a couple cup sizes too big for me personally, that could account for the extra wideness of the strap placement.) The cups are three-piece construction, with a seam down the middle of the front of each cup.
I can't really comment too much on fit, since it's too large for me. If this is close to your size, however, I think this would be a great bra. It's soft and cute and well-constructed.

    BSV 100 in 70J

I am adding this bra for data/informational purposes only. This Bra is not owned by me at the time of addition to the database

The BSV 100 is a padded bra, which is white with black letters all over it. It reminds me of the DMV eye chart. The padding is the typical light foam lining, without any additional pads. The cups are slightly larger than the Vestiva BSV 102 bra in the same 70J size.

The wires are super flexible, and sit comfortably on the breast tissue. This creates a nice rounded shape and cleavage without the dreaded quad boob. The ... straps are wider set than I’d like but otherwise it’s a great bra.

The band measures 24” to a max of 34.5” and has 3 hooks with 3 rows of eye loops.

    Cup Depth as measured by:
1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance.
    This measurement is: 11.75”

2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance.
    This measurement is: 12.75”

I feel these two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.

    BSV 102 in 70J

I am adding this bra for data/informational purposes only. This Bra is not owned by me at the time of addition to the database

The BSV 102 is a padded bra, which is black with multi colored micro dots on the bottom of the cups and scribbles on the top. The padding is the typical light foam lining, without any additional pads. The cups are slightly smaller than the Vestiva BSV 100 bra in the same 70J size.

Like the BSV 100, the wires are super flexible, and sit comfortably on the breast tissue. This creates a nice ... rounded shape and cleavage without the dreaded quad boob. The straps are wider set than I’d like but otherwise it’s a great bra.

The band measures 23.5” to a max of 33” and has 3 hooks with 3 rows of eye loops.

    This measurement is: 11.5”
