    Didn't fit

This is a beautiful bralette + knickers set from independent designer Toru & Naoko. This style is discontinued, but I think it's the same cut as the Dana style and similar to the Frankie. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit me. For all you out there thinking "My underbust measures 25'' and my bust 32'', I can wear XS bralettes!" (Or maybe that's just me?) Well, not this one. I would say this XS is suitable for band sizes up to 28 and cup sizes up to 28D/sisters, no bigger. Sure, the mesh is stretchy and I can get it on over my boobs, but I get major side-boob and ... top-boob and basically lots of extra boobs all over. I should have gotten it in S and altered the band. Oh well.

That said, it's a beautiful and delicate set and I'm sad I can't wear it. The mesh is embroidered with stars. The bralette and the back of the knickers feature keyhole details and the bralette is adorned in several places with silver rings. The band is adjustable, so would fit rib cages between 25'' and 28''.

I totally do this with sizing. Completely guilty. Sometimes it works out, and sometimes it doesn't. I've got an XS bodysuit from Toru and Naoko that fits wonderfully (but it's completely lace front). Thanks for giving the fit note!

PetiteCollegiate yeah the problem with this one for me is that it's so low coverage, my boobs just escape! I can imagine how a bodysuit would be a lot better in that regard. Sigh, this definitely will not stop me from taking the size gamble on non-custom bralettes though ;)

I was impressed with their custom sizing, but I absolutely understand the urge to save and gamble with the standard ones. We 26 bands are just sort of screwed in available offerings! That's a big part of why I blog, so that other 26 bands can know that they're not alone (and so that designers know that we exist and we're not children or skeletons).

If I order from them again I'll definitely go the custom route. I found this particular set after they had already discontinued it and were just selling off the last of their inventory, but I sure wish I'd been able to get it custom as it's so attractive and I wish it fit me.

You're doing great work with your blog, keep it up! "We exist and we're not children or skeletons." Couldn't have said it better. :)
