This is @ThirdLove's 24/7 Classic T-Shirt bra and I was so so excited to try it. I want to love it so much but the cups cut into my armpits. It's so soft and smooth and I love the company but I just don't think I can keep this bra. This is a common problem for me. I wish I could deal with this but I am all about comfort when it comes to clothes. I'm going to try a different style from ThirdLove and hopefully find something that works.
Edit 2/23/17: After wearing this bra a day or two and loosening the straps almost all the way (a ...thing I have NEVER had to do before), I have changed my mind. The top of the cups near my armpits are still wider than I'd like but overall, this bra is very comfortable. I haven't had an everyday underwire bra since I was 17-19. I'm so glad I gave this bra another chance.
Edit 4/3/2017: I wear this bra all the time now. Sometimes the straps slip a little but oh my heavens this is a comfortable bra. I can wear it all day. Plus! It gives me some separation so I don't get the cleavage sweat so much. I love love LOVE this bra. Read more 105 more words
I keep seeing Third Love ads and they piqued my curiosity. I did their online sizing test and then ordered the bra they claimed would fit me so well I would forget I'm wearing it. I got the bra today, and I don't like it. I can't tell if this is only the wrong shape/style for me, or if it is just too big for me overall.
They send me a 32D, which is quite ambitious, especially since they actually have smaller options. The Classic T-shirt Bra's shape reminds me of the Panache Porcelain, which is still one of my all time favorite everyday ...bras. I wear Porcelain in 30DD. The Third Love bra doesn't feel supportive like the Porcelain though, but that's highly likely because the band is definitely too loose. The bra came missing the second hook on the third rung, so I can't clip it at its tightest setting. This bra is soft, and it feels sturdy and dependable. It does seem like it could last awhile. I'm sending it back, though, because I don't think the size is right, and I don't want to pay $70.00 for a bra with a manufacturing flaw. Read more 99 more words
Cups are slightly thinner than I prefer. Underwire digs slightly in the middle where I’m all bone, fit better when I first got it, but now I’m slightly smaller, not enough to go down a cup though. 32C would probably fit more comfortably but I like my bra nice and tight.
I love this bra. I have three of them in this size (Naked 1, Twilight Mauve, French Lilac). They're superbly comfortable. They're made of foam and it's enough to completely conceal your nipples, but by no means would I say they're padded. I would say about (1/3rd cm) 1/16th of an inch of padding. I would say they run a smidge bit big in the cups, which I don't mind because I'm a bit big on the larger size of 30E, but with very narrow roots, so a normal 30E underwire with slightly larger cups is perfect for me.. The gore is fairly high (I've tried this bra in ...a 30D and a 30E(USDD),, and a 30F (USDDD) and the DD+ bras have a lot more coverage and fabric in general in the cups and higher gores.) I'm also not sure about the pleated strap (okay, I hate it, it gathers dirt and sweat and green tarnish from the metal parts of the straps and serves no purpose), but over all, it's a really comfortable and I love it a lot. I have several Thirdlove 24/7 classic T-shirt Bras in my ordinary size 30DD (that's 30E in Thirdlove's sizing cuz they use Euro sizing). I love their Naked 1 shade because it's a nude that actually matches my ghost pale vampire skin (I'm crazy pale) and when I saw a NWT 34C, which should be my sister size in a 34 band, pop up on postmark for a bargain price, I thought it would be a perfect a candidate for a band alteration. I was very (unpleasantly) surprised to find that while the underwires were the same size as my 30Es from thirdlove, my new bra's cups were smaller with a lot less coverage. Thirdlove apparently uses slightly more fabric and slightly shorter straps on their size D and aboves, but I wish I'd know this before ordering a sister size for my adventures in bra altering.
This bra does not fit me at the moment, during my pregnancy. Overall, I found this bra to be of decent quality and pretty comfortable. The gore comes up higher than I like, but it wasn't so high as to be intolerable for me. It seems that they've expanded their size range, so I may try some of their bras again when things stabilize post-pregnancy.
It’s a very comfortable bra. I ordered the size and style recommended. The cup did not quite fit at the top of the bra. The band is stretchy and loose...fit well on tightest setting. It didn’t feel like much support, and didn’t look like much support under a sweater. Also, I wore the bra immediately when it arrived, and noticed a faint chemical odor. I had ordered two, and the second one has the same odor. I’ll be returning the second one.
I have tried out Third Love bras a few different times, always hoping that they will fit each go-around, but they never do.
The main draw for me construction wise is the soft, pliable yet molded cups. With my assemytry, it is incredibly difficult to find a "forgiving" bra that looks decent on both boobs without spillage or gaping. I had hoped that Third Love's bras would be the answer, but sadly their size-range leaves much to be desired.
It's a classic case of "band too big cups too small" kinda thing. And even then, I think they are too expensive for the quality. For what it's worth, the cups DO accommodate for my unevenness, but it doesn't mitigate the fact that the wire (on my bigger boob) still sits on the tissue, and the gore doesn't tack.
I signed up for Third Love a few years ago and have been wanting to try their line for quite a while now. I did the sizing questionnaire and was told my size was unavailable (28G). Of course. But in order to be eligible for their "Try before you buy" program you have to try the size they recommend for you. After years of waiting for my size to become available and countless emails filled with deals and specials I finally decided to change my size to what I normally wear, a 32DDD. So I was now able to try it before actually paying for it.
I ordered ...the 24/7 Classic T-shirt bra since that was what the site suggested, in their "Naked - 2" colorway and also purchased matching thongs in a Small. I was dying to see what all the hype was about. I will say, the material is so soft and very comfy! And overall it's a pretty decent fit. Of course, the gore doesn't tack but that is a common dilemma I seem to have. Other than that, there really aren't any other issues. The wires do seem to come out a bit far (nothing like the narrow width of EM or Comexim). But it isn't too horrible. And everything fits nicely. I have zero quadboob, the band feels nice and tight (tho I have to hook it on the last hook). I do seem to have a little bit of empty space at the bottom of the cup, prob need just a tad bit more cup depth and the correct wire width. I do like that the wires are close together at the gore and the tagless band is super comfy. The straps aren't fully adjustable but they're very easy to adjust and the goldtone hardware is a nice touch! It gives a very nice, natural yet lifted shape without all the padding. I have to wear it a full day first before deciding if it's worth the $70!! Ouch! That's a blow to my wallet! Pretty steep for a bra. But I'll update later after a longer day's wear.
UPDATE: So I gave this bra a nice long day's wear and it was extremely comfy and so soft. But the fit just isn't as good as I had hoped for. I decided to return it and shipped it back. I honestly prob would have just kept it if the price wasn't so steep. But for $70, I expect a perfect fit! EM is almost half that price and her bras are as close to perfection as you can get in regards to a proper fit. But who knows? If Third Love ever does expand their size range like they say they plan to, I may give them another shot. I'd say if you CAN find your size and get a proper fit then the quality is good and the material is super soft. It might just be worth it
UPDATE 2: I am SO angry at myself!! I just now realized that I returned this bra without ever measuring it!!! I'm so sorry to anyone that may be looking into these measurements. That is not like me, I've just had my head in the clouds lately. I've been stuck on stupid all summer long. Lol. I sincerely apologize Read more 454 more words
