    Used to fit

Update: This bra was well loved for a few months and worn regularly before the cups edges started to curl outward and show under shirts. Probably due to it not being a perfect fit but it may also be lower quality. Pretty bummed because it was a favorite and otherwise is holding up well!

    Original:

A unique bra with virtually no gore, and I'm happy with the fit! Truly, I just noticed it on Amazon for $15 and had to try it.

Somehow Simone Perele has made me fall in love again. This bra seems well thought out. The cups are tall, but something about the shape and wire width makes ... it work - preventing them from bothering my armpits (a problem I encounter often in plunges). The wing height is also low, further preventing this problem. The cups have a nice amount of depth overall, where many plunge bras are simply too shallow and too wide.

Their website advised sizing down in the cup and I think that is fair. I would usually go with their 65F but the cups might have been too tall and deep.

I'm not sure where I am shape wise that makes this bra works. I thought I was a bit close set, but maybe I'm more in the middle. 1" gores are good, less is great. Over 1" is bad. Maybe I'm self supporting enough that my breasts don't want to escape into the middle too much? I'm sure the cut isn't for everyone but I'm loving it.

It feels comfortable and easy to wear overall. I can for sure see this becoming my go to bra. Plus, the band runs true to size unlike many Simone Perele bras!

    • Lovely! Have you seen the new Wacoal Visions triangle bra? It has a similar gore. I'd love to try both, but my CFCS (center-full, close-set) breasts need a more narrow space. Thrilled this works so well for you!!!

    • Forgot to add: What an amazing price!! If I find it for $14, I, too, may try it. Wow.

How do you find Simone Perele's materials? I've not yet tried this brand, but I do appreciate Wacoal quality.

Simone Perele uses really nice materials Love4Pollinators . Shape is variable and bands tend to run big but when you find a good shape, materials usually are not a problem, they feel lovely to wear.

    • wendybien Thank you :-) I was thoroughly impressed with Lejaby materials and have high hopes for Simone Perele :-) The no-gore wire gives me hope, but the center projection looks shallow. When I peruse their website, the Muse looks more accommodating of center projection. Perplexing. Is it possible, the bra can/will accommodate both? :-)

Can you pretty pleeeeease measure it? I'm sure it would be a shallow nightmare on me but I'm loving anything plunge lately.

Measurements added - surprised how wide the cups measure, I didn't think they looked or felt so wide on me. I would never buy a bra if I saw it measured so wide, unless it was wirefree or something. The cup separation is only 0.6" though!

The materials are nice, but nothing justifies the full price to me haha. I think the smaller wings could be irritating or cut in. I also had to cut the size tag out because it was very itchy. Small complaint but I hate cutting them out.

Gulp. I ordered the 30F....just before the price returned to $78.00. Thanks for the measurements, annabellynn ! I can handle .6" gore :-)

Width is one of those measurements that's actually kind of hard to use measurements for. If you have a bra with a really low gore, it'll measure wider than it fits because you're measuring at more of an angle than you would a bra with a taller gore. Wire firmness also plays a role because even though wires technically shouldn't distort, some are so soft that really any tension makes them distort, so those will fit wider than they measure.

I look at cup measurement, but kind of take it with a grain of salt because there are a lot of things that just a strict cup width measurement doesn't tell you.

Excellent bra! Unfortunately, all around too big for me. The cups are extremely tall, and since mine was preowned, the band is somewhat stretched. However, this bra fits my mom great according to her. She is like a 32E in Cleo bras.
Maybe I'll try this in a 65D someday and see how it fits.
