This is the perfect size for me right now. Snug, supportive but not so much so that I feel like I am suffocating. It's a very comfortable fabric and feels very good quality. I will buy more of these in the future if I ever work out enough to need more than 2 very supportive bras.

I have never thought that the bra would be so great for me! It has no bounce at all which is what I have never felt in sports bras of other brands.
But I'd recommend you to have a +4 measurement when you buy it, just like what I did.
Even with a +4 measurement, the band still runs tight (but in an acceptable level).

  3. Finally I've got it after 2,5 weeks of waiting. I've been told that the condition of this bra is very good, but the hook is smashed, I have to replace it. I found that weak fastening is very often problem with new constructions of SA bras. This is another one with hook problem. The first one was brand new and I knew about the damage. The oldest models don't have this defect.

edit: I've replaced the hook. The bra is nearly perfect https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I use the middle row.

My typical size in bras is 65E. I have another Shock Absorber in 70D, but when I tried this in a 70D, I couldn't close the band around my ribcage. The 75C is tight in band, and the bra does a good job of eliminating bounce. I use this to ride horses, and it's very much up to par.

I LOVE shock absorber sports bras, but this is way too small. I bought it without realizing the size and since it is a few sizes too small I have only warn it once.

The band on this is quite snug for a 32 and would probably suit a 30 better!

It was an absolute nightmare getting this bra on, the back is ridiculously tight yet gave absolutely no bounce control at all to my bust (wide, short roots, slightly fob)
It hurt like hell to do up the racer back, squished my bust and gave me quadboobs.

    • I went up a back band size in my shock absorber, if that helps.

I am pretty sad that this doesn't come in a 28E https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />. It fits me well shape-wise - so much better than the 4490. But I can't get away with a 30 band for a sports bra. The straps are also too long. I do prefer the hooks on the 4490... These are more of a pain in my opinion. But in the end, the benefits of two sets of hooks are there: better fit, comfort, and support. I was impressed with the amount of support I got from a bra that is too big in the band (my underbust measurement is 26).

I would be very very happy if they expanded the size range for this model to include smaller band sizes. Till then, the search continues...

This was listed on Amazon as a 34E, but it turned out to be a US 34E/UK 34DD. The band runs really tight and I doubt it's because it's a cup smaller than my real size. I can wear it for two hours, max, before it really starts to hurt. Unfortunately, when I received it I was too eager and removed the tags so I didn't even try to exchange it. I needed a sports bra! I would recommend going up a band size and down a cup size.

As far as support is concerned, it's supportive but my breasts still bounce. I also get a uniboob. If you don't want a uniboob, go for a sports bra with underwire.

I love the (adjustable) racerback hooks on this bra. It keeps the usuals bra-straps away from my arms and gives me total freedom while climbing and running. It gives absolute support, it really honours its name. I have never worn a better sports bra. After two years I still wear it on the outer most hook, showing the non-stretching quality.
I did buy this one size to big (at the time), because my usual size was way too small; this shows that this brand uses real sizes, a 60 is 60 cm.
Because of its perfect snug fit, it gets kinda uncomfortable after wearing it for a full day, but luckily that doesn't happen often.
