Runs very small, both in cup and band. Also, the lace will float over your breasts if you are FOB, but I think that's okay for this bra. Very pretty.

Almost perfect! This bra is very comfortable! Which is a bit of a shock given how sexy it is! The band is just a tiny bit too tight I'm going to try an extender, I think that'll solve the tightness. Despite having more tissue above my nipple line it is much more shallow that my lower breast tissue. So I was kind of surprised when I filled this out once I scooped a swooped but the lace at the top has no stabilizer or elastic and given my lack of projection on top I may take the lace in just a touch on the sides to make it a perfect fit! Overall I'm very pleased with this bra !

I bought this bra knowing that the lace portion at the top fitted very loosely on other users and that there would be some nipple show-through on the lace portion. It didn't sound like it'd be very supportive, but having already procured a solid collection of modest coverage and functional bras, I'm now on the hunt for the opposite https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

Parfait Tamara has 2 of the things I was looking for: lace/mesh material and a half cup style. I have an affinity for black bras so this was a no brainer. The straps are actually two side-by-side thinner straps, which I find adds ... to the sexy. I'm not a fan of the band, as I've mentioned on every other Parfait bra review I've written. The stretchiness of the elastic on the band allows the band to ride up even more so than bands that measure longer relaxed.

Now onto the fit appearance. I had hoped for some awesome cakes on a plate. Like this http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTYwMFgxMDUx/z/pswAAOxy3cJThdsc/$_12.JPG?set_id=880000500F (super cakes). What I got instead though, was this http://media.bratabase.com/cache/fc/10/fc10198d886f557d820b16d1a4cb0959.jpg (no cakes, no tan). It looks like my boobs are trying to escape over the top of the padded part because the cup too small. Obvious is obvious. But, in my very simple bra brain, sizing down in a half cup style is supposed to result in more pushed up rounded boobies. What I've been slow to learn though, is the obvious: sizing down results in reduced cup width and depth and in a bra that is trying its best to tack between my boobs instead of floating magically around them (the way small VS bras create cleavage), I always end up with a terrible orange in the glass effect. This caused the opposite of what I wanted to happen because my poor squished oranges were now pushing down on the cups. Sure, I could make this work by tightening the straps, right? Wrong. These straps are only half adjustable. I'm sad to report that this is a sexy bra fail for me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

    • I had the same problem with this bra and ended up returning it. I wish it would have had a lot more projection in the bottom cup pa.

    • Staaldrigstill Yea, it's too bad about the design on such an aesthetically pleasing bra. I've ordered the full padded cup (instead of half padded) version. I'll follow up with how that goes!

    Fits

Fits great, supportive and sexy. Doesn't really give cleavage, but good lift for that rounded upper boob look, even with my relatively empty on top/middle boobs. the shape is very much forward, uplifted, and projected. The straps are doubled in the front, which is probably a cute look when the straps are thinner. But the disco ball at the center gore has to go.

The Tamara is one of the prettiest bras that Parfait by Affinitas has, especially when they the pops of color, such as with the purple and black that I bought. I tried both versions of Tamara, the wired and the padded. The wired was a better fit, but still not great. There is a lace trim that goes across the top of the cup, but the top of the cup is lower, and quite honestly hit me around the middle of my nipple. The cup is slightly padded, even in the wired version, and the lace is very thin and does give a very seamless appearance. The straps have a split appearance and are not as adjustable as one would hope, but not horrible either. This would be a great boudoir bra, but I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing it out in public. The rhinestone disco ball detail at the center gore is really pretty and does make the bra stand out even more. I really wanted this one to work for me, but unfortunately, it's a no-go.
