This one fits me in all the right places. It brings my side-heavy breasts around to the front so they're not tucked under my arms. It is barely noticable as I wear it, I'm not adjusting the straps all day and it's sexy AF. I literally cried when I put this one on. Having large breasts on a smallish frame makes bra finding really, really hard - and then when they're are side-heavy, style-wise it is limited even more.

Solidarity on the side heavy breasts. So glad you found a win!

Love the red! I want something that fits me the way this fits you so freakin bad. Dream bra is comfortable but still attractive, and supportive, and keeps things contained! Though I’ve discovered “my boobs trying to escape” problem isn’t generally relatable with anyone who isn’t further along in the alphabet than me.

    Fits

After wearing molded cups from Victoria's Secret for almost as long as I've been wearing bras, but when my size changed, I realized that a lightly lined T-shirt bra wasn't as all-purpose for me as it used to be. My figure felt sad and deflated, and so when I grew out of my comfort zone (and VS's size range!) I set off in search of something more structured that would give my figure the shape I wanted.

When I put this bra on for the first time, I'm pretty sure I heard angels sing. The wider band and straps, super soft material, and tailored, structured shape are exactly what ... I was looking for. I feel supported, the underwire actually sits under my breasts instead of an inch below, and I actually have a shape again!

One thing that will take some getting used to is the additional fabric in the wings. It comes right up under my arms, so I notice it quite a bit. It's not uncomfortable, just not something I'm used to - and when looking for something with more structure and support, it makes sense that there would need to be more fabric there. After adjusting the straps and wearing it for a little while, I'm reasonably confident I won't even notice it given enough time.

The aesthetics are sweet and pretty without being too frilly or cutesy. I (usually) like my bras to have some personality but not go too wild, and this particular design is unlike anything else I've seen while browsing. Unique is good, in this case! I've also noticed that the structured feel of this bra has been constantly encouraging me to maintain better posture. Hooray for unexpected benefits!

All in all, I adore this bra. When I have the funds, I fully intend to buy more of this in different colors.

Does it fit? Should I pad the right side?

Brash5 So glad to know it was helpful! If you do end up getting it, I hope you love it as much as I do!

Gore lies flat against sternum -- good news. I remember the first time I had a bra that did that. I did not hear any angels, but I was surprised and happy. :)

This is SUCH a beautiful bra. I had it before in red in a different size prior to my breast reduction and wore it quite often. However, the band feels extremely firm - much more firm than my Parfait Lulu - and is kind of uncomfortable. As a result of the tight band, I feel like the underwires dig in under my arms a little bit. I also think the cup is too shallow for me. The ultimate killer for me, though, is the SQUEAKINESS. It squeaks every time I move, and my previous Parfait Charlotte Padded squeaked too, so I know it's not just this one!

    • I tried this, and yes the squeaks are wierd! It's not the right shape for me but definitely pretty!

i had previously tried this exact size in the Peach model, but found it didnt fit well enough to want to keep for the price i paid. i found it later for much cheaper, so i re bought it in this dusty rose color. i dont have the peach anymore so i cant compare the two side by side, but per my past review this seems to fit similarly.

the band feels firm but not painful- im wearing it on the first set of hooks, but could probably move to the second for a firmer fit. because of the 3 hook band though, it feels sturdy as is. ... im still getting what appears to be quadboob near the very center, and the gore doesnt tack, but im not sure thats an issue of cup size. i think im just more center full, and the gore is too wide. i have a bit of empty space near the outermost edge of the cups, near the straps, but i get that pretty much always so im going to say 'meh' and leave it be. its a molded cup too, so some of it might be a consequence of the stiffness of it. i hope as it softens with wear and washing, it'll conform more to my shape.

the straps are too wide set, which is annoying but again, happens constantly. i think they contributed to the gaping i get, because it becomes worse as i move around and the cups get shoved by the straps catching in my armpits. the material of the straps is nice though, thick and stretchy and pretty comfortable.

one thing ive noticed with wearing this is that i get some irritation from the band, right below the cups. it wants to curl under, and it pinches and chafes a bit and leaves a really severe red mark that hurts. its noticeable after abut 10 minutes of wear, but really bad if i wear it for longer. im not sure the cause- the band definitely doesnt feel too tight, if anything its a bit loose! im not sure if its a projection issue? i dont have heavy breasts, but i do have stomach fat higher up, so maybe its just that getting squished.

*UPDATE: 4/18/17* after the inital try on and wearing it in the house for an hour or so, i havent worn this since. its just too pinchy in the band, and i think its because ive got too much upper stomach fat for it. im also driven nuts by the straps. selling this one and moving on!

very close to fitting, but not enough that i want to keep it at the price i paid. if i can find one super cheap, i might snag it, but this one is going back to amazon. ive only worn it to try on so far, so i cant speak to much of the fit.

the band is firm but not painful, and i expect it will loosen with wear. i love the 3 hooks! the cups are a great width, and the wings are high which is awesome for me and my tall roots. on the right side my armpits to get dug at a bit, but that ... might be the strap placement. the gore is too wide, so it gets shoved side to side a bit and that is one of the main issues. the other is that i get some gaping at the top edges of the cups not nearly as bad as most molded cup bras, and mainly on my less projected right side, but enough that i dont think id like wearing it because gaping irritates me. i think if the gore were narrower, it would probably gape less, because the cup would come closer to the inside edge of my breast tissue. i get the tiiinist bit of quadding on the inner edge of my left side near the gore, but i think im center full so im coming to terms with that possibly always being an issue.

the color is a lovely pale peach, and i like the styling of this bra. its possibly the only non half cup bra ive tried that doesn't have a ton of issues within the cup! im going to try my hand at a used one, and maybe see if i can narrow the gore, but im not terribly confident in my ability to alter things.

Overall its a great lil bra. Gorgeous fabrics and very cute details. The fit summed up: The center gore doesnt come anywhere near tacking. This underwire is slightly needing to be wider. It doesnt dig but I do need it to be longer/wider to completely lay flat and enclose my whole boob. The depth isnt too bad but again to comfortably wear underneath a shirt without quad boob I need to get a 34GG for sure. Holds the girls up and out well and looks great naked but I cant do it under clothes as the quad boob looks crazy. Overall I have no doubt I would wear the crap outta this bra if I go up two sizes in the cup, as I figured I would need too but I gave it a chance.

This is such a cute bra! It's very comfortable -- I'm a big fan of the straps, which are wide and made of a nice smooth material. I also like the three-hook back. I get a little quad-boob on my bigger breast if I fully scoop and swoop, and the gore doesn't *quite* tack, but I like the bra overall enough to overlook that.

I bought this bra on a whim a few days ago, because it was just THAT pretty. Charlotte is always a good-looking bra - I really love the retro styling - but I think the wine purple/black colorway is my favorite version so far. It's just so sumptuous looking - you wouldn't be surprised to see this on a pin-up model of some sort.

Happily, in addition to looking beautiful, it feels beautiful as well! This is the first time I've chosen the padded contour bra version of Charlotte instead of the balconet. I was surprised at how well it mapped the shape of ... my breast. It's not too tall - as many bras are on me - and the apex is situated nicely. I'm not really sure if there's enough room at the bottom for my immediate projection; I have fairly malleable breasts, so I won't know until a few wears from now. That's generally how long it takes to make a crease at the bottom of the cup.

The wires are still a touch too wide, still, but closer than almost everything else I've tried thus far. This bra goes pretty high up the sides, but it's still pretty comfortable. The band is a little firm, like all Parfait bras; however, I've always liked that. I guess the only bad thing about this bra is that it is HOT. It's made of fairly thick foam, so I wouldn't want to wear this bra for a day wandering the city - this is definitely an office bra.

However, aside from that it's really nice! I would love to buy the same bra this spring in the newest colorway.

This is a gorgeous bra. I bought the wrong size, but I will definitely be buying it in the proper size as soon as I figure out which to get. I was told the cups and band run small, so I sized up from my normal 32FF to a 34FF. The band was definitely too large on me. It may run slightly large, but I thought it felt pretty true to size. It felt comfortable to me on the tightest hook, but I definitely need a 32. The cups were definitely one size small, though. I get a little "orange in a glass", but that's normal for me ... (weird roots) and I think would be fixed with the proper sized band. However, after scooping and swooping, I had a tiny bit of quad boob on top, or a little bit of breast tissue under the gore. So I would even venture to say that this bras runs one and a half cup sizes too small, but that may just be my super soft boobs. The construction on this bra is great. I love the thick straps and three hooks. The shape is lovely, just slightly more natural than the perfect orb. There's really nothing I can say in terms of cons on this bra, other than that this particular size didn't fit me. However, I only tried it on, so I'm not sure about long term wear.
