I really think this bra fit me really well, but I am returning it because I don't like how the black stripes show under all of my shirts. I tend to wear tighter fitting shirts that are thin, and I could see this bra through every one of them.

This bra was perfect otherwise, so I'm going to try some other smooth Parfaits to see if I can find my match! The center gore was perfect and the perfect width, I got some great natural looking cleavage, while my breasts still projected forward, rather than separating them out to the sides too much. The band was ... really nice and snug, much more so than my Chantelle, so I think this band was a much better fit for me.

The part where the straps attached to the cup were a little scratchy, and I think you get what you pay for with this bra. Although a great shape, I think this bra is generally cheaply made. I could tell as soon as I pulled it out of the package that it was much lower quality than my Chantelle, but I can live with that, I just couldn't really live with all the extra seams on the front, and as I kinda pinched that top fabric, I found they are not in fact connected to the inner seams but more for decoration. It just isn't plausible with the things I wear, so I'm on to the search for a better t shirt bra.

It's always exciting to find a perfect fit! If the problematic stripes are decorative, could you cut them off with a seam ripper?

    • I think I probably could have removed it with a seam ripper, and I will keep that in mind for the future. I've just ordered two other Parfait bras that are t shirt bras to see if they have a good fit as well. If neither of them do and I can't seem to find a good t shirt bra I may come back to this one and remove the stripes and maybe recover the front.

This review is for the new Floral pattern. This bra's construction is very wonderfully sturdy. In my test wear I found it to be surprisingly comfortable, the strap was just starting to rub a little after a few hours, but I think it would be very comfortable to wear all day. The band is very firm but runs a little large to counteract this--it fits me perfectly at a 31" ribcage with squish. The cups are very nicely deep, I found them to run a cup size large and sizing 1 cup down fit me perfectly. The wires aren't too hard and didn't bother me. I tried it ... on under clothing and it looked smooth, pattern showed thru a little bit. It is somewhat closed on top which is great for me--there was a slight gape on my smaller side but only when I sit down. I found this bra to add some volume to my bust which I like. It does make a slight noise of foam being rubbed together if the cup is pushed on. I found the shape very pleasant; it's quite rounded. Overall this is a great bra and will definitely be a part of my regular rotation.

Thanks for this review. I wish the new colorway were listed separately on here as it seems really different in measurements to the old ones. I think I might need a 28G or 30FF if I were to try it. When you say it looked smooth under clothes, do the seams show through?

    • They don't show under my loose shirt. Under a tight shirt they probably would.

    • Ok, thanks!

The 30F in this bra is a bit small on my larger breast (which is why it became my test dye bra) but the quadding is not bad enough to make it unwearable. I still find it extremely wearable and comfortable. I dyed this Charlotte teal blue, it got a bit wrinkly during the process but still fits exactly the same. When dyeing these do not smoosh them, I have dyed two others sans smoosh and they look just like the undyed ones but in different colors.

Great bra for someone that needs a smaller bandsize than the usual 30. The band fits much smaller than most other 30 bands. This bra is super cute with a vintage look to it. The red and black color option is very sexy. The cup size is on the smaller size, so order a cupsize up. I normally would wear a 28FF (this brand does not come in a 28) so I ordered a 30F. To have the best possible fit I would need a 30FF in this bra.

To a friend with similar boobs: it's too narrow, but I personally can deal with it fine. The same goes for the gore- it's not quiiiite flat, but it's close enough. Maybe it's slightly too far apart for my boobs? I'm not sure.
I have the Floral Shimmer colorway and it's just gorgeous, honestly. I love the look of vertical seams against the pattern.
The padding feels a bit strange...it's almost like foam, and makes kind of strange sounds when you rub it, but it's comfortable. The straps are wide, but not wideset, whoch is nice. The whole thing feels very well put together, comfortable, and altogether fits well. A great addition to my wardrobe.

This is just a poorly designed bra. The underwire don't have enough padding and dig into my ribs painfully. The angle of the underwires is all wrong, also contributing to non-tacking and extra fabric not being filled at the bottom of the cups. The cup separation is too wide for me so that it doesn't tack.
    At least it looks nice.

I read that this was small in the band and cups the cups were large probably true to size for 30f but i needed a 30e. The band was more like a loose 28 than a 30. This is the purple wine colorway. I am ordering the half cup to see if I have better luck .

I really like the snug feeling of the Parfait by Affinitas bras. I think that's part of the reason I keep trying them.

First up, I have altered the wires on this bra - shoved them together, and bent them. The cup now measures 5.5" across, and is closer to 8.5" deep. Fits a lot better! There isn't as much space on the outer side of the cup (obviously), and the depth makes it not gape as much at the top of the cup.

This bra fits really well on my larger side, but I do need a cutlet on the smaller side. Plunges aren't really the right shape for ... my boobs, and I probably would have sized down a cup if I hadn't received this as a present! I think there's enough tissue there, it just isn't in the right spot...

The bra itself is very comfortable. The fabric is really silky (and the matching panties are too - very nice!). The black ribbon will show under thin shirts - both the color and the slight bump of it. It doesn't bother me, but it might some people.

I'd say for my boobs in Parfait, I need to go down a size for the plunges, and either keep this size or go up one for the balconnettes. Bending the wires is a definite yes. I do love the snug band, and I do like the look of the bra under shirts.

After an exchange, I tried the Charlotte in the 30F and noticed an obvious improvement with the gore, which now tacks down all the way and not just at the bottom. Very nice! On the other hand, I'm still having some problems with very slight quadboob on my larger breast. It wasn't enough to be noticeable under my tight shirts, though, so I'm pretty happy with the fit. It's a beautiful bra otherwise. I think Parfait by Affinitas has a lot of really good things for me, and I like their styles, so I think I'm going to keep ordering Parfait bras https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
