    Didn't fit

Ok, just gotta say right off, this bra is amazing!
No it doesn't fit me 100% perfectly, but I pretty much think nothing ever will. However, no bra, ever has made my boobs look as good as this. It literally made me giggly when I tried it on, it's that good.
If you have breasts are anything like mine (wide root, close-set, soft, uneven sizes) you must get this bra. It's like some kinda bra magic.

The cups are four-section, including a side support panel. The lower two sections and the side section are made of very lightweight fine non-stretchy mesh material that is very supportive. (Others have found it ... stiff at first, I just find it excellently supportive.) This material is printed with an elegant birds and plants print. (no raised bits to show through clothing) The shape and location of the seam between the lower panels and the upper panel is perfect for me. (Sometimes this seam is too low and can create a bad, bottom-curved but then squarish shape.) The cup is nice and deep at the bottom and the stiffer material creates a nice rounded shape.

The upper section of the cup is really where the magic happens. This section is made of black stretch lace. It is just the right amount of stretch to accommodate and contain my soft, uneven boobs that have a tendency to spill over the tops of cups, while helping create a fantastic high, forward, and round shape, without flattening. The lace does seem a bit delicate, so I will be sure to treat this bra very gently when washing, etc.

It is a "banded" bra, in that there is a small amount of band below the cups and to the sides of the cups, with a vertical seam (no boning) before the back band itself starts. The back band is a medium-weight stretchy mesh (plain black).

The straps are satiny and padded. They are actually somewhat thicker than I'd really prefer with the look of the rest of the bra. They are by far the most heavy-seeming component. They only adjust partially, and a fairly small section at that, so this may be an issue for some folks.
The straps are attached to the top of the side support panel, at what I think is a somewhat unfortunate angle. It's not that different than most balcony style bras, but sort of clashes with the rest of the shape of the bra and who it will be good for. (The bra otherwise fits like a sexy, light full coverage bra.) Certainly, for me at least, the straps angle is too outward and makes the outside edge of the cup and beginning of the straps dig into my arm/armpit a little.
However, I first wore it for around 7 hours while attending a wedding, including dancing, etc. and it didn't bother me that much. I do think I will try to change the angle of the straps a little by taking a tuck to the inside in the section the straps are attached to.
(I really do wish companies would realize that when you have a cup this big and a band this small you really can't attach the straps way at the outside of the cup and pointing outward. The attachment point is already starting to be around my side, the straps *need* to go in somewhat to hit my shoulders properly.)

I had heard that Panache made some changes in the underwires for this model, and holy heck, yes they are way better. They are much lighter and thinner, but still plenty strong. And they don't come up as high, either on the outside of the cup or at the gore as other Panache models I've tried. (No poking my armpits!!!) The thinner underwires also contribute to one of the narrowest center gores I've seen. Great improvements Panache! The wires (cup width) are a touch narrower than I'd really prefer, but I usually take extremely wide wires.

It's possible that one cup size bigger would fit better, but a) to get that I would have to go up a band size (because they don't make a KK) and Panache 34's are pretty much always too big one me (I have initially been wearing this Jasmine on the tightest hook of an extender, though I *can* close the band without it, it is more comfortable with the extender until it is broken in a little.) and b) I suspect the larger cup size wouldn't create such a fantastic shape. Since I am treating this as mostly a dressing up/special occasion bra I'm willing to sacrifice 100% comfort for looking awesome. (Seriously, my boobs have not ever looked anything like, oh say, CurvyWordy's from the top view. But in this bra they kinda do!)

As far as sizing, this bra seems to fit similarly to other Panache banded models (like the Tango line). It seems to run fairly "true-to-size", inasmuch as that is possible to say with bras. In general I would say I seem to be between 32K/KK and 34JJ/K. This is consistent with that. The 32 is just a touch snug, but the 34 would definitely be too big. (I guess I really need a 33K, lol. Half a band size bigger and half a cup size bigger would probably be exactly perfect in this bra.)

This bra is the lightest of any I've tried or own in this size or similar. (It's about 25% lighter than my everyday Goddess Kiera's.) It reminds me a little of Pour Moi? bras, except definitely more sturdily constructed. The stretch lace top section makes it perfect for soft and/or uneven boobs. And the improvements to the underwires should eliminate issues many have had with past Panache models. Highly recommended!

Edited to add: It occurs to me that this bra is kinda like a half-cup bra with guard-lace! It seems like it does for full, soft boobs something like what a half-cup bra can do for someone who won't spill over the top, but it has the lace bit on top to keep the top part contained.

Edit2: One thing I am noticing as I continue to wear this bra, the underwires are starting to poke in the middle a bit. The wires are thin and not very padded, so they are starting to poke my sternum some. I think I will sew a small piece of felt or something to pad them a little more and that will probably fix it.
Also I wanted to note that for those who, like me, have no space at all between their boobs, the wires in this bra are pretty cooperative about twisting themselves so they lay pretty much one on top of the other (for me my larger side tends to push the wire outward), which, is actually a pretty good way of dealing with the no space in the middle problem.

    • Thank you for this review! I am going to order one of these asap. I am very excited about trying this one!

    • Oh, you described it the same way I described for MilkAndHoney halfcups should be made for soft boobs! I think Andorra works a little like that as well. I now want to try the Jasmine.

    Hasn't set fit

I havent bought a new bra in ages, but 2 of my Panache Tangos were about dead, and I just thought this looked lovely and would go well under a green shirt I have w lace sleeves.

When I put it on, I admit it was reminiscent of the first time I put on a 32J Floris - fits like a glove! Ok, in the pics I point out tiny flaws - wires are a tad wide, shape is a bit . . . elf shoe? and my bigger boob is on the verge of not fitting. Also the band is MUCH stretchier than my older Panache - this 32 needs 2nd hook brand new. I already washed it and wore it for a full day, and its about as comfortable as a 32K Panache bra can be for me.

I know the pics arent great, but let me know what you think - I found a purple one on ebay, NWT, and I think I have to buy it! I love florals!

    • ComeAtMe_Bra still looking forward to seeing it in purple tho!

    • 1

It's a very pretty bra. It reminds me of the Floris from it's print & fit wise.

    • 1

alisa The fit of the Floris JJ was so wide I returned it, but somehow this fits me in a K - unless my standards have dropped as I've grown. Floris was my main squeeze until I grew to a JJ. I'm struggling with weight more than i have in my whole life tho. I went on my first ever real diet and lost 12 lb and then went on hormone replacement therapy because hot flashes were waking me up every 90 minutes all night . . . and instantly gained 5 lb and then lost my motivation entirely

  3. Tango Ii Balconnet Bra (3251)

When I lost weight and my old bras wouldn't fit anymore, I had to buy a new bra quickly. Panache Tango can be found at good prices on eBay and it is very reliable so I opted for that one.I find that the Tango is a very supportive and reliable bra and expecially in big cup sizes. I had many of these over the years.
The band runs true to size and the cups fit slightly big, but they are not very roomy on top. So for full - on - top boobs, it is not the best option. The bra is very supportive and I don't have to ... adjust anything during the day. The quality is excellent.

What I don't like about it: the shape from the front is a bit east- west which I don't like. The wires are slightly too wide for me. The biggest problem is the center gore. I have close-set full on top boobs. The Tango bra really seperates boobs with a very tall gore. The top of the gore pushes against my sternum painfully and I get red marks. I really wanted to get out of this bra quickly at the end of the day. Oddly my 30K Tango does not hurt me at the gore, I noticed the gore is 1.5cm lower on that one. I would have to keep that in mind if I every buy a Tango again in any size... not have the gore be higher than on the 30K. (30K I wear wear with extender so it's like a 32JJ) I will keep it and wear it occasionally but continue to search for something a bit more comfortable and with a more center front shape.

My pictures I have taken 4 month ago, when I got the bra, I have lost few kg since then, so it fits a little differently but not much. Just a bit more room on top and it don't look like I spill out of the sides anymore. I will take new pics and add them soon.

I have worn it for a full day again. It is my best Fitting bra currently, but I'm so glad to get out of this bra at the end of the day. The wires are so sturdy, which is a good Thing for support but I feel like I wear a corset. The gore pushed on my sternum very badly. So bra fits, but is not comfortable.

1 month later and the bra is really too big now and I cannot make it work anymore by tightening the straps. 30K is a better fit in cups now.

  4. Floris Balconnet Bra (7311)

After trying several sizes in this bra, I finally found one that fits!
I'm quite happy with the 32K it is as good as it gets! There are still some minor issues (as there are with all my bras), they are:

    - wires being too wide

    - gore folds over each other and digs in

    - shoulder straps are too separate (bra made for a wider frame / wider shoulders than mine?) and digging into shoulders painfully

    - there is some empty fabric on bottom, and some empty fabric on top, when I swoop and scoop I fill the cups but with wear the bra gets pushed down and cups are empty ... on bottom.

    now positive things:

+ no quadboob, all breast tissue inside the cups

+ great shape, round, uplifted and slightly projected to the front ( no east west)

    + stable and sturdy construction

+ I'm not that much into floral prints usually but the print on this bra is just soooo pretty, the pictures don't do it justice. I love the colors https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

Oh it runs slightly generous in cups, I usually need a 32KK in Panache and I have still a bit room in the cups in the 32K Floris.
Band is rather firm, size up if between sizes.

    Didn't fit

After trying a few other new releases of Panache in 34 bands that were all too big I opted for a 32 this time and so glad I did. This fits like a true 34 band.

It's very different in the cup fit wise from any other Panache I've tried because the cups are actually pretty short. This will definitely not work if you have a lot of upper fullness because the top of the cup will probably cut in. although the lace is very stretchy which is nice.

The gore is very high. On me it doesn't tack so, on the one hand, it doesn't stab me but on the other it's not fitting properly either.

It's not as projected as for example Jasmine, or even Envy. The wires are average I guess. I could do with less width personally.

I'm keeping this because I have very few bras that are comfortable and this one at least is that. It's far from perfect but at this point I just need a bra I can wear lol.

Congrats on finding a bra that is comfortable to wear. I think it looks good on you.
Also I found Panache bands to run big - I wore 30 bands in them when I was still wearing 34s in Bravissimo!

    • Thanks for the review - i saw this on amazon and thought it was cute, but i dont think it'll be big enough for me.

    • dbmamaz yeah I've not worn this since I got it, it ended up being too small and shallow. It always happens, it looks and feels great until I cut the tags off then suddenly it's a terrible fit :(

The midnight teal is a beautiful color, the fabric is soft and not itchy. It I read reviews that the band on the Emilia ran a little big/stretchier than other panache bras which I agree with. However I wouldn't say it is a one full band size difference when on, I tried it upside down and backwards to eliminate the too small cup size and estimate it is closer to ½-¾ size difference from other Panache 32 bands.

A specific, trusted review said the cups were accommodating and could work for fuller than the standard K cups so I took a chance on the smaller band with my regular cup size since there is no KK to size up into. I tried it on and my cups runneth over! Unfortunately this will be returned. I ordered my current panache size of 34K and fingers crossed it works.

  7. Ariza Balconnet Bra (5051)

This used to be my favourite bra for a long time. Sadly my boobs decided to grow again. I need now a 32K/32KK in other Panache bras (like Floris and Melody) and probably a 32L in Ariza.

    pros +
+ gives a uplifted round shape
    + full on top friendly
    + very sturdy construction
+ wires are a bit narrower than on most panache bras (Tango, Melody, Floris)
+ band is very firm and barely stretches out with wear
+ very supportive, gives "boobs of steel" feeling

    cons -
    - fabric is a bit itchy at first wears
    - shoulder straps can dig in
    - wire pain since the wires are very very stiff (but that also makes the ... bra so supportive for big / heavy boobs) but also note that I get pain from wires digging in in all my bras when I wear them a full day, because the bras have to carry a lot of weight

about this colorway: compared to other Arizas I tried in this size (blossom and mint) I found that this one is less full on top friendly as the cups are more closed on top and also it runs slightly small all over.

Fern 32K, black / flower print AW 13

This fits quite true to size in my opinion. The band was snug but still comfortable. I did not get any quadboob. The wires on the side are quite tall (as you can expect in that size range) but they didn't poke me under the arms. Fern has compared to other (mostly older) Panache Styles like Tango, Harmony or Ariza a bit lower wires on the sides.
The whole bra is kinda tall construction, so don't try this if you have short boobs. Even I experienced some slight gaping on top of the cups towards the straps. Not because the cups ... were too big but because they were just a tad too tall. (And I usually need tall cups!)
The shape I got was kinda weird, I got a slight pointy shape. The cups were rather projected which I usually dislike. I also found the whole construction a bit weaker than other Panache styles as Ariza or Tango.
So this bra was not a complete disaster on me but there were things off, so I decided to return it. I prefer Panache Ariza over it.
I did not wear it for longer than 15min for trial so I cannot say how comfortable it is in the long run and how it wears out in time.

The wires are too high for me (they stab me when I sit down) and too wide. At the same time, I could use more depth. Panache has supposedly made the wires of the bra come up lower than their older styles. They don't stab me when I'm standing up like my 34JJ Sienna did, but they're still uncomfortable and leave me with marks.

My larger breast tends to shift around a lot in the cup during the day. I have to readjust often to avoid quadboob on the side of the larger boob. The stretch lace does a pretty good job at accommodating the difference in size. In ... bras of this size without such an open top section, I get crazy amounts of quadboob.

The bra is rather low coverage on me, but I can't size up (even if I could, the wires would be even higher/wider... gah). Panache just isn't the brand for me.

Technically you can only partially adjust the straps, but I find that I can get it to adjust the whole way if I give it a good tug.

I'm not normally one to go crazy over colours and patterns (black is where it is at), but I must say that the bird pattern is rather cute (and yet the bra is still mostly black, yay).

    Pros:
Stretch lace is great for soft, full on top boobs
Side support gets boobs from under your arms and pushes them forward
    Nice rounded shape
Good basic colors and cool pattern for a modern appearance

    Cons:
Everything is seriously stretchy, including the lace. I am unsure of how long it will last and the band has already stretched just from trying it on.
    Narrow straps
    Straps not fully adjustable
Lace feels unsupportive; I jiggle a little when I walk

This is my first stretch lace bra. I have soft, full on top and close together boobs, so the way it curves to their shape without cutting in is nice. This is my second side support ... bra and in a balconette style this seems to mean forward projection and it gets my boobs out from under my arms comfortably, so I really enjoy that I think. The somewhat minimized, rounded shape is my personal preference and this bra aims for that but it falls a little short on me.

I feel this bra separates my breasts too much, but is not extraordinarily bad. The straps seem closer together than previous Panache bras but still too far apart. The wires seem definitely narrow than other Panache bras which is good for me but it still is somewhat under my arms. The wire seems shorter so even though it is under my armpits, it doesn't really poke me uncomfortable like older styles.

My main issue is that it feels unsupportive. It doesn't really give great lift and the straps don't adjust short enough. I am considering altering them and I would like a smaller band since it is so stretchy but I can't go down in the cup so it's something else I would have to try to alter. Also, with my one engorged breast in the pictures and in the smaller 32JJ - Panache » Envy Balconnet Bra (7285) I tried, this bra does something really weird. The lace just kind of gives way and my boob just gets...saggy for lack of a better word. It doesn't help my longterm confidence in the lace.

I am considering keeping this bra since I got it for only $36 on Amazon and my husband really likes it, but it would require an alteration to make the band smaller, the straps shorter for lift and possibly the center gore to be taken in smaller. Then it looks pretty nice in shape and lift as you can see in one of my pictures where I stand straight up with shoulders back. It also shows up a bit under tight clothing so I am still unsure what I will do.

Edit - Not keeping it. See my fit request for more information but this bra does not work for large, pendulous breasts.

This bra is ok. It has smooth satin 3-section cups (horizontal seam runs across the whole cup, two lower sections). The front is completely opaque.
The underwires in all Panache bras in my size are ridiculous, very stiff and thick and not padded at all, so not very comfortable. It's a bit better once I bend (curve) them to my shape a little.
There is no band below the underwire in front. The back band is relatively stiff mesh with stiff elastic edges.
The shoulder straps are too narrow and dig in.
The wires come up very high in the front and armpit, does not play well with necklines.
This bra gives me a low, slightly pointed and also flattened shape.
It seems very sturdy, but is not all that comfortable so I barely ever wear it anymore.

This bra did not work for me. The band was too big and rode up. It's a very stretchy band. The cups were also too big in this size. The bra did not feel supportive because of that.

Panache Fern has a similar construction to Panache Tango. The bra has been discontinued and I see why, it's a softer version of Tango, but does not offer anything special. The fabric is thinner and softer without any embroideries and usually shows some sort of print. The print on this bra is really pretty, I'm sad it does not work for me, the pink flowers on navy blue backgroud look really classy.

    Didn't fit

This bra is tall (high) in the gore and sides for someone with a petite frame. The gore was also firm, which I liked because I felt quite supported. On me, the top of the bra cups were loose but I think that was from following Boob or Bust recommendations that were a bit larger. And I lost two pounds which apparently were just from the bust. (No other body measurements changed.)
