Finally, the Envy in something close to my skin tone! I'm excited Panache released this colorway (chestnut) and hope that this becomes a permanent option. I own the same bra in black and in navy-- see 32J - Panache » Envy Balconnet Bra (7285) for my full review of the black colorway.
I recommend getting up one band size in this bra. The band is very firm and runs tight.I normally wear a 30 band in Panache, but the 32 band on Ariza felt almost too tight on me. The support from the band is awesome. I could almost wear this bra as a strapless.
Shoulder straps are thin. I don’t like that. But the band on this bra is that stable that it really does support a larger bust and there is very little weight on the shoulder straps (as it should be !) I have loosened thee straps to a comfy length, so they do not cut in too ...much. The shape it gives me is a bit pointier than I prefer. (nowhere near a Bravissimo Dotty Spot though)
Now the 32J is 1 - 2 cup sizes too small for me. I though about trying a 32K as recommended in fitting help section, but then I decided otherwise. I usually like my bras rather a tiny bit too big than too small. On this one I came to the conclusion that It should rather be a tiny bit small than too big. I won’t imagine what these thin shoulder straps would do to me when I have to tighten them all the way!
Comfort: 3 / 5 (I have to wear it with an extender first, the band feels too tight.) Appearance: 4 / 5 (I love the bright purple color, shape is not that great) Quality: 5 / 5 (can say nothing bad so far) All in all a solid 3.75
Edit: I decided to keep this bra. I like that it is extremly supportive. I wear it now with an extender with 2 extra rows of hooks. The cup does fit now better but there is still slight quadraboob, although not as bad that I would have to size up to 32K. 32J is exactly the right size to fit the bottom of my breast (no empty fabric) but I need the volume of a 32JJ or 32K on top to get rid of the quadraboob. A 32JJ would probably be a better fit in this bra. Now that I'm wearing it for a whole day I have to say that the wires on the side are almost too high. If I bend over they start poking. So I don't think I would get along with the older Arizas, where the wires used to come much higher.

I am SO excited to meet this bra! This is the first 'real' bra I've purchased and have no need of a fitting request - it clearly fits!

The cups are wonderfully deep. The fabric is not stretchy, yet somehow seems to fit both my bigger and smaller side well - maybe a tiny bit of folded fabric at the inside of the top of the cups, but nothing noticeable.
The fabric is smooth and solid. The underside of the wires is lined with nice soft cloth - none of those hard itchy lace wires from my Envy and Marcie! I happen to LOVE LOVE LOVE this purple floral - I seriously wish I could wear this as a bathing suit, I feel completely covered and want to show it off to the world!
I think this might be my new best friend . . if only it came in a solid beige to wear under light colored shirts.
I previously owned the Panache Envy in both a 32GG and a 32H in a variety of colorways. When I gained weight, I repurchased it in a 32J in black, and eventually bought it in navy as well. This was my go to bra before the pandemic. It's supportive, gives a flattering shape, and isn't super noticeable under T-shirts. The lace is stretchy enough to handle fluctuations in size throughout the month. I wish I could find some of the other colors again so I could repurchase them in my current size.
I tried this bra in a 32HH a few weeks ago, and although the cups were too small, I was impressed how secure I felt in this bra because of the wires, firm band, and full-coverage (it's labeled as a balconette, but there's a lot of fabric in the larger cups sizes.) Also, the straps were very thin, and as a person who's never had a bra with thin straps, the idea of finally having one was appealing!
The 32J arrived, and when I tried to put it on, I was surprised that I could not fasten the band at all (I had no problem in the previous ...32HH that I tried just a few weeks earlier.) Thankfully, I invested in some bra extenders and was prepared. I really just needed one more row of hooks for it to work (I'm one of those "hook from the front and slide around" people -- I haven't yet mastered hooking from the back!) I wonder if this was a 30 band that was mislabeled because when I stretched the band for measuring, I got 31 inches (and I stretched pretty hard!) The 32HH measured at 32 inches stretched, and you would think they would be the same.
The band is nice and snug, the cups seem to contain all of my tissue without quadboob. A lot of people seem to have issues with Panache wires being too wide or poking them in the underarm, but so far I really like them. I'm only 5'4", but I have short legs and a long torso, so maybe this is why I am able to handle their large wires. I also have narrow, sloping shoulders, so I seem to always have problems with straps being too wide on the cups. The straps seem to be in an acceptable place (not 100% ideal, but good enough.) They do cut into my shoulders a tiny bit, even after I loosened them, but that may be due to me just having a lot of body fat (I'm just soft all over.) Also, I think I just have permanent dents in my shoulders from straps, so it may just be because of that!
Although this bra doesn't give me the most coveted shape in the world (it's almost an upside down 7 under a shirt), I decided to go ahead and mark everything as fitting in Bratabase because really, it fits quite better than most bras I've tried, and I'd like to get more accurate recommendations. Also, it appears very east/west in my pictures, but I assure you that it's not. I may be holding the camera at a funny angle because all of my front view pictures appear east/west, even if they're not. It also may be because of where I'm placing my nipples -- sometimes they end up at the top of the cup, and sometimes they're at the bottom or off to the side in a strange spot -- I just have to adjust them so they're even and not crazy looking.
**Edit: I am wearing the bra all day today for the first time, and I must say, it feels FANTASTIC. The straps are not bothering me at all (not digging in and not pulling too far from the sides), I have not created any quadboob yet, the band feels the perfect tightness (with my extender until it gets stretched out some), and the wires feel like they are in the perfect spot. Also, the shape is actually better than what I originally perceived (I'd still prefer it be a tad bit more uplifted and centered than it is, but it's not bad.) Still not my ideal, but I don't feel self-conscious about it at all. Plus, the colors are so pretty! Matching shorts are going to be my next purchase.
**Edit #2 after a month of wear: I still like how this bra fits, but I have become more and more self conscious about the shape it gives me under clothing. I feel like I am minimized and smooshed down. I almost wonder if I really needed it in a cup size larger, because even though I didn't have quadboob at first, I keep having it more that I wear it. I like how it looks on its own, but I really do not like how it looks under a shirt. I wore it quite a bit when I first got it because I only had one other bra that actually fit, but now that I'm planning to purchase a few more bras in my correct size, I will most likely sell this one in the near recent future. Back when I was a 32H, I owned this bra, and loved it so much I collected colorways like they were Pokemon. I would literally go to Intimacy/Rigby and Peller and buy the colors they had in stock, then scour Amazon for the ones they didn't have. Then dark days came (i.e. I outgrew all my bras), and I frantically searched high and low for Claras in long-since discontinued colors. I eventually found it on eBay in both plum/silver and emerald/gold, and practically wept tears of joy when I tried them on. Yes, they do fit me in a 32J, which is fortunate since that's the biggest size the Clara comes in. The gore tacks, the wires are comfortable, and I don't get any quadding. The photos I took don't do the colors justice.
It looks great on you. I love the Clara, such a beautiful bra, it hates me though 😂 The 28 band is too big and the wires are agony. I still have it sat in my drawer though!
It is a lovely bra. If you are going to Pokemon a model, this is a pretty good choice. :)
Heck yes I think the Clara is suchhhh a beautiful bra, my personal favorite is the peacock/petrol color with navy blue.
Sadly I passed it on to a friend as it didn't fit me right, but I keep being tempted whenever I see a Clara online.
I purchased the Tango in a 32J in both Pale Jade (light green) and Tiger Lily (orange). To my surprise, the pale jade one seemed to fit perfectly, and the tiger lily was a little too big (wrinkling at the top of the cup). Currently, the tiger lily is a better fit for me. Since the pale jade was an older colorway, maybe the Tango has been redesigned recently? Back when I was a 32H, I owned the Tango in pale jade, blue/gold, wisteria, and forest, and all the colorways seems to fit me the same way back then. I'm hoping Panache brings back some of the old colors eventually, because orange is not exactly my color.
The Panache Idina was one of the few "older" Panache bras I haven't tried yet. But I was always curious about it. It's discontinued now but can be found for low price on ebay, that's where I found mine. It's an interesting bra - but it did not work for me.
First, the Idina is not like other Panache balconettes. I speak of Jasmine / Envy / Floris cut, they have very deep projected cups. Idina has moderately deep cups. It is also not like Tango Full cup cut, as it's wires and gore are lower. I also find the wires to be one of the narrowest wire ...I found on a Panache bra. So it's narrow, moderately deep - sound good, but for my tall shape (+ full-on-top) it is not tall enough. There isn't enough coverage and therefore less support in the upper cup (which I also need at my size ). It kinda looks on me like a half cup. Or maybe it is just too small. As the Idina stops at a J-cup I cannot try a larger size and the band already is stretchy enough so I shouldn't size up to 34J. If I compare the cup height of Panache Idina to a bra that fits me well aka 30JJ - Bravissimo » Lacey Bra (LN486) then I notice that the Lacey cup fabric comes like 2 cm higher than Idina cup. So that explains why I cannot work for me.
I'd recommend it though if you need a shorter cup and all Panache bras have been too tall for you. The fabric is super nice and soft, the bottom cup is lined and the top half is a stretchy lace. The color is a pale beige that works well on pale skin types. It's overall well made and it felt supportive when I wore it... I just had issues with the top part and slight quadboob above the cups. I purchased yet another Panache Tango Balconnet Bra (9071) , this time in the nutmeg colorway, which I believe is exclusive to Bravissimo. This fits pretty similarly to my 32J - Panache » Tango Balconnet Bra (9071) in tiger lily. I love the deep brown color much more than the searing orange, so I imagine I'll be wearing this new one much more frequently.
Yet again, I scrounged around and found a Panache bra in a discontinued colorway that I loved back when I was smaller. I previously managed to snag a Panache Jasmine in Paisley Print in a 32J, but that colorway ran a smidget small--see 32J - Panache » Jasmine Balconnet Bra (6951) for that review. I stumbled across my size in the Dogtooth colorway, and quickly snapped it up. This colorway is more comfortable than the Paisley Print, so I suspect that whatever fabric was used for Paisley Print is just a little less stretchy than all the other colorways I've tried.
Obligatory Panache bra preamble: "When I was smaller, I loved this bra...and now, I bought an exact replacement in my current size." I'm actually not as enthused with this particular bra now. It technically fits, but I feel almost like my breasts are being trussed up like a turkey. The Paisley Print colorway ran smaller than the other colorways I owned in a 32H, so maybe if I managed to get the Dogtooth colorway, it would be a little more comfortable? I haven't been too excited about the more recently released options, so I'm not likely to buy more Jasmines in the future.
Trussed up like a turkey!! I loved the way jasmine held me up and out - but the 32J was the last size that worked for me. But i did sometimes say panache was like wearing hardware strapped to your chest
As with all the Panache bras I own in my current size (32J), I previously owned the Tango in a 32H, then outgrew it when I gained weight. The only color I was able to replace in a 32J was Pale Jade. I find it comfortable, and it's minimizing enough for me to be able to wear button down shirts. This particular bra seems to have the classic orange in a champagne glass problem on me. I also purchased this bra in the new color Tiger Lily, which fits me better.
Just purchased this bra last night. It wasn't a risk - I know this bra works for me. The print is very cute. The Jasmine provides a very high lift and a ton of forward projection. I really love this bra.

This is the prettiest bra I've owned in a long time (which might be more a comment on me) but my husband LOVES the look of the black lace. And of course, that makes me feel pretty!
This bra gives a lovely round shape and I feel very lifted and supported. The stretch lace means that my bigger side isnt quadding and my smaller side isnt gapping, which is hard to find - I have a very big size difference.
However, it is really too shallow for me at the bottom. I need more immediate projection than this bra has. The result is that the bra is pushed down lower on my ribcage, causing the wires to really hurt me. I keep bending the wires, and each time I wear it I seem to be able to tolerate it a little longer. So I might not want to wear this to work, but its fine for shorter outings.
Too bad it doesn't fit, because it otherwise looks great on you. And it's a very pretty bra. It looks good under your top, too. I *love* that top!

But I kept the bra - its getting more comfortable each time I wear it - i dont put on my real bras often, tho - i really dont leave the house much, and there's no way I'm strapping hardware on my chest to sit around and play world of warcraft and cook dinner and homeschool the kid

The other day when I was wearing my floris, I made my husband feel under the wire - he was surprised how hard and thick it is. To support a j cup up high on a 32 ribcage takes some serious force. and i've always been pretty sensitive. Its better now - in high school I couldnt stand a bra with a seam over the nipple. It was too irritating. But that doesnt bother me any more
but in high school I couldnt find any 32s, so I wore 34s which were not so tight.
Yea, that floris looks like a pretty serious bit of engineering. I think very few guys understand how much mass and force are involved, and the consequent materials requirements. And then to make it attractive at the same time!
I am by no means petite, but I couldn't imagine what it would be like if I were a 40J.

I bought this bra knowing that the band would be too tight. I'm hoping it'll stretch out; this review is on how the bra fits with an extender.
First of all, I didn't believe a bra could actually affect posture until I tried on this one! I do find myself standing straighter with my shoulders more naturally back in this bra.
What I love about it is the stretch lace. For once when I bend over without a very full coverage bra, I don't get quadboob. My breasts are very soft, which makes it easy to just flow out of the tops and middle of cups and make unsightly bulges ...under clothing. At first I thought I was doing that in this bra... turns out that although when I bend over my breasts do start flowing out the top, the bra doesn't cut in and cause quadboob! It just stretches and keeps a smooth line.
It also does what a forward projecting bra should do; gather in tissue from the sides and shove it forward. Because of this it's a pointy shape, but it lifts nicely and narrows my front profile. (A little too much for my body, but that's because right where the bra goes is the narrowest part of my torso width-wise. This bra really shows that off and makes me look unbalanced with my wider bottom half.)
What I also love about the bra is the immediate cup depth in the middle. That's exactly what I need for my lack of separation. It lets my boobs go straight out forward instead of pushing them outwards like other bras do when there isn't enough depth around the center gore.
There are two major problems with this bra; the straps slip off my shoulders because they are too wide, and if I lean the wires poke at the back of my armpits because they're too wide too. This explains why although I have a perimeter of 14.5, a cup with a depth of over 15 has no gapping.
The fabric of the cups buckles/wrinkles a bit underneath, but I think that's due to the straps not being supportive enough to keep the cups where they should be because they're too wide.
Note: I measured cup depth with the bra cups stretched down over my knee. I did this 3+ times with each cup, and 15.25 is the average. Read more 284 more words
I wear a 32J UK in the Panache Envy, so I tried a 32J in this bra. This is definitely a structured bra that just happens to not have an underwire rather than a bralette. I found this to be very supportive, and suitable for wearing under T-shirts to work. It runs a bit small--the gore doesn't even come close to tacking, but I don't get any quadboob. I don't find it all that comfortable for lounging or sleeping. The elastic rubbed a bit of skin off when I tried to put it on with damp skin once. If this came in a larger cup size, I would try it out to see if I could get the gore to tack. Even so, I liked it enough to purchase it in sky blue as well as black.
At the time that I bought the Envy, the band fit looser (I've since gained weight). So although the band was very firm, I don't think I would have gone up to the next size (32 to 34). I could have used a bit more length in the band, but the 34 band was too loose. The bra seems to be the size that I normally fit into in Panache bras, so I would say that it is true to size. The stretch lace is a problem for me as I have very soft breast tissue (45 years old; years of breastfeeding), so my tissue migrates over ...the top over time, creating a bit of an overflow that shows through clothing. As well, the weight of my breasts falls mostly on the underwire as it is not distributed evenly across the cup. This leads the wire to dig into the breast tissue under the arm. I don't think a bigger cup would have solved this problem; I think I just need firmer fabric. As I have very close set breasts, I find the bottom half of the cup pulls away from the centre gore in a way that distorts my soft tissue. A deeper volume in the cup beside the gore would have solved this problem and allowed for more projection and less of an east-west pull. Overall, I do not like the stretch lace that Panache uses in its bras. It's too stretchy which results in lengthening over time, and it pills against clothing making it look cheap and feel scratchy. In the past, when I could fit into Chantelle bras, I found that Chantelle stretch lace was high quality: highly resilient over time, always reinforced with a thin band of firmer elastic along the edge of larger cups, and never pilling or becoming scratchy over time. As both companies' bras are at around the same price point (in North America), it would be lovely of Panache to use better materials in their bras. Read more 228 more words
I have a 32J envy! It never fit me right either. I now have a 32JJ Jasmine which works a lot better for me - but the fabric is very stretchy. 32J Floris was my favorite until I outgrew it. I can only wear it the first half of my cycle now, and I still quad a little.
But mostly I wear my polish bras . . .
Hi dbmamaz, I was just looking at your bra reviews and I think (hope!) we might be twins in the breast department. In my town there are no shops that carry my size and I have such a hard time buying bras online: I have a closet full of lovely bras that are all duds on me. I've always wanted to find someone with a similar size and shape to me so we could trade tips and recommendations. I try to research online but most of the bra bloggers are young women who haven't yet had to deal with the inevitable effects of gravity and breastfeeding ;-). I'm generally a 32:13 or 34:12/13. But my complications are that my breasts are very close set, very soft, pendulous, with a wide root. I also have a short torso (5ft tall), so I need short wings and gores or the underwires impale me. Panache has been the brand I'm most successful with so far, but that isn't saying much. I've also got a Jasmine, but in 32J, and I have similar problems to the ones I have with the Envy: the stretch lace is just not supportive enough. I would need a higher gore in both bras for them to really work, but then my short torso makes that impossible. This is why I can't wear other Panache bras like the Floris. I did buy a Ewa Michalak bra once in 2013 (Biustonosz CH Onyks Multiway), but unfortunately it also was not supportive enough for my soft breasts: I need more breast coverage and a wider band in the back. I see that EM has more styles available now, though. Do you have any style or brand recommendations you could give me? I'd greatly appreciate any help.
Well, the S is the best for me for support - the padded cups have so much structure t to them that they hold my breasts high. however, there is not really enough room at the gore for my close-set boobs = BUT because my boobs are so soft, I do a reverse-scoop-and-swoop . . . I reach in from the outer side of the bra and grab my boob and pull it towards the wings. That stops me from quadding over the wires (quadding over the wires also pushes the bra down lower, where the wires dig in painfully) I have to do that 2-3 times a day, which isnt too bad. I get reminded that its time if I can see quadding through my shirt or if the wires start hurting
the BM also fits but its a more natural fit - because its not padded, it does not hold me up as high. Its also higher coverage, with a stretch panel on top. I still need to reverse-swoop on this one, but it doesnt quad - the wires will still drift down and hurt, and reverse scoop fixes that.
before I grew, panache floris was my fave (I have 3 in 32J) - but now i can just barely wear them before ovulation. I tried going up a size but it was a much older model and it was too wide and too deep - i'm not sure if they've improved the sizing or not. Floris has no stretch, but if its slightly too big, the lace wrinkles were not visible through clothing for me
And there is a new Ewa Michalak bra that just came out that no one knows much about yet - like a BM which is padded on the bottom. I'm dying to try it

I only saw the pink floral/paisley online (eBay) a couple of times and never past a D (I think) cup either. :/ If I'd somehow managed to come across it in my size it would be pointless to buy because then I wouldn't be able to find the matching knickers.

I have a love/hate relationship with this bra atm. I have already washed it once, very gently. It is very pretty, very supportive, very full coverage - LOVE! It is also very 'pokey' - HATE! It's poking me pretty harshly under my arms. The top of the wire goes back over an inch too far onto my side. The wires are also very high so it is poking into me. Also, the very top of the cups cuts into my breast tissue a tiny amount, Depending on how I scoop and swoop and how I settle into the cups. ...I wore this bra around the house for a long time just trying to determine if I was going to keep it or not. My husband (who rarely has input in these matters) said that it looks very supportive and it looks like it fits. He said that the cutting in to the top of my breasts is not noticeable. I was starting to believe that I am very FOB but this bra cutting in up top makes me wonder. it is very closed up top, very full coverage. Read more 95 more words
Ahh - I've never had any bra poke me under the arm, I suspect because my roots are low. after all, I"m only (almost) 5'2, so its not like I'm tall. My pics of my Floris show it wrinkling a tad on top, but it no longer does this after washing. Or maybe i got bigger? Lol
How does the fabric feel? Is it scratchy? Stiff? Soft? Is there flexibility in the top fabric?
courtnelius the fabric is very smooth but firm. It seems to be the same material as the Cleo minnie. Feels somewhat like swim material, just not that thick! The fabric at the top is thinner and has a texture and airyness to it. It's a little bit more giving. I would say it is not at alllll flexible.
The lace on top doesnt stretch, but at first it was slightly loose on me but didnt really show through a shirt. I feel like the fabric has gotten slightly less firm with wear, but it also reminded me of swimwear at first. The underneath of the band and straps are velvety. Much less scratchy than Envy and Marcie lace

Wow, comparing your pics and mine on 2 tabs it still blows my mind how it fits us differently! Clearly on you, its up in your armpit and the strap further out on your shoulder, but not on me. (and there's my huge belly, sigh. making me think I need to quit all carbs . . . )
one of the things that amazes me about bras is how they can look so different even on people who wear the same size. i'm always amazed looking at my uploaded pics vs other people's in my size and seeing how the same bra can give them a completely different shape! and dbmamaz bellies and carbs are beautiful :)

I've have been trying pretty hard to find bras that fit me and I stumbled upon this one. I was not in love with the look (the nude color with large floral lace reminded me a bit of something my grandmother would wear). But it was only about $15 on Amazon, so I decided to give it a go knowing it was cheap and I could return it if I didn't like it. And I didn't. My first issue with the bra is the band itself. It was definitely snugger than I'd like, though not snug enough that I would want to go down a band size since ...I could still fasten and wear it. But if you're usually on the edge of sizes, definitely get the larger one. My next issue was with the cup. It looked as though it would create a very pointy profile if it fit me correctly. However, it didn't so the pointy look coupled with the quadboob effect made them look almost square. I can't say I've ever tried on a bra that has created quite the same shape. In addition to spilling out of the top a bit, the lace at the top wouldn't sit flat. Another little note is that the bra was definitely darker than it is advertised (and therefore isn't really a nude color on my skin tone) One thing I appreciated was how well the gore tacked.
