  1. Tango Ii Balconnet Bra (3251)

This bra fit very similarly to the Panache Scarlette bra 30D (http://bratabase.com/browse/panache/scarlett_4501/30D/).

The material in the Tango 2 is silkier than the Scarlett. The band is slightly stretchier, but not really enough to make a difference between the two.

The problem I had again was with the cups. I fit fine on the bottom of the cups, and the underwires were no problem. The top of the cup was slighly too baggy for me, but the top edge was flush against my body. It kind of looked like the top edge was pushing the top of my breasts down because I ended up with a really pointy shape. If the shoulder straps were more centred so the top of the cup was lifted, I think it would have fit fine.

I would say this bra is probably for someone who is full on top.

  2. Porcelain Moulded T-shirt Bra (3376)

I really love this bra. I've been wearing the Porcelain for about three years now and it's become a staple in my underwear drawer, it makes a great t-shirt or everyday bra. One of the best fitting bras I've ever had. When I first tried this bra I got it in a 28DD but found the band was too tight for my liking, the 30 is much more comfortable but still giving firm support, no problems with the band riding up.

  3. Porcelain Moulded T-shirt Bra (3376)

I've been wearing the 30D for a few hours now and it's a very comfortable bra. It gives me a great silhouette under fitted tops. The cup is the perfect height for me, zero gaping. It's made a genuine attempt at bringing my wide breasts forward. Straps are nice and comfortable. The band length is a little tight on me, i'm hoping it'll stretch out a bit over time. I do get a little side fat bulge.

I'm not sure what model this is. Based on photos here I think it's a Fontaine Plunge, but that name does not sound familiar to me! I'd forgot I owned this bra, and I recently found it while cleaning out my closet. The fabric is rather rough, and the wires squeak. It's similar to a Tango in fit, but the cups have a little more room.

    Didn't fit

The Panache Porcelain Elan is a solid, if plain, molded cup t-shirt bra option. It looks pretty similar to the Cleo Koko Plunge or Cleo Neve, which are also partial band plunge molded cups, but the cup shape of Porcelain Elan is a bit more reminiscent of the tall, narrow plunge cups of the Freya Deco Plunge, which didn't work for me at all.

The band is a really nice and snug one and fits TTS for a 30 band, which is great. I've found that sometimes Panache 30 bands are too stretchy or too big for, so this was a pleasant surprise. Since I had ... band consistency issues between the Panache Black Ardour Sweetheart Molded Bra, I was surprised that both colors of this style measured pretty closely to each other.

The cups are quite thin and flexible, so this is definitely a true lightly-lined style and not in the padded territory. I think this is great for people like me who hate padded bras, and it reminds me of a very old Victoria's Secret bra that was a longtime favorite. However, the cup shape for me is all wrong. While the cups are quite wide unlike the Freya Deco, they are even taller! Compared to the 28DD Freya Deco I tried, the cups are +0.9" wider and 0.8" taller. That's a lot of room I can't fill, especially at the top!

I am rather baffled at the measurements of this bra as they are significantly larger than the other Panache molded cup bra I tried, the aforementioned Ardour Sweetheart which ran at least 2 cup sizes too small.

It's a shame that this bra didn't work out for me, as the thin cups and firm band should've been a really comfortable bra for me. If this suits your shape, I would recommend it, but you may need to go down a cup size.

This is my first unlined/non-contour cup bra, so it's going to take a bit of adjustment. I'm not used to such a natural and unsupported shape! The shape is much more natural and kinda-pointy than I'm used to. I don't know what to wear it with. I managed with 2 shirts layered so it was kinda thick. It's so different from what I'm used to wearing (I'd/something would touch my chest and it was a shock to be able to feel it so much!) that I honestly couldn't tell if it was comfortable or not.
The band was nice and tight, and I prefer a 28. The gore was definitely a bit higher than I'm most comfortable with, and I found myself messing with it quite a bit. I pushed the wires down a little in their channels so they left a tiny empty pocket in the inside edges and hit the end on the outside, and I think that helped a little. I'll update with how I feel about it once I wear it a few more times.

  7. Jasmine Balconnet Bra (6951)

Jasmine is a great summertime bra because it's so incredibly light. The fabric is lovely and it feels like satin on my skin. I love the support and comfort as well as the prettiness. Jasmine gives me a lifted, natural-looking shape that works under any type of shirt. Unlike some other seamed unlined bras, (i.e. Andorra) I get no "pointiness" at all from Jasmine. For a "natural", casual look this is a great bra. Since trying this bra I have started wearing Cleo unlined bras (Lucy, Marcie, Ellis, Millie, etc.) and I find they are much more uplifting and they give me a wonderful rounded shaping, which I prefer. While Jasmine is a terrific bra, for my shape and size, Cleos hit the jackpot.

Feels okay in the first few minutes of wearing, but progressively becomes more uncomfortable and I have to take it off after a few hours. Pokes my sternum and the sides of my chest.

Doesn't stretch out, still have slight difficulty hooking the three hooks even after many washes.

Cuts my boobs almost in half even though I have tear shaped breasts. Part of boobs that is covered by the bra becomes a weird duck bill shape. Not attractive.

It is quite pretty though, shame it doesn't fit properly...

I tried this bra on in a couple of sizes and colours (weight loss/gain etc) (30D, 30DD and 28DD) and it was always a pleasure https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

It's a very nice and comfy everyday bra. The fabric is smooth and soft.

I wouldn't wear it to go out in the evening because there are other bras that add a bit more "wawawoom" to your outfit https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> but I really like this one for work.
The wires don't poke, the shape is nice (not superb, but nice), the quality is really good and neither does the fabric wash-out nor did the band stretch a lot.

    So: Great everyday bra https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

I bought this size after I bought the 30DD version (which was too big in the cup for me.

Like the 30DD, the band is not too stretchy, so it will provide a good fit.

If the ... shoulder straps were more centred so the top of the cup was lifted, I think it would have fit fine.

I would say this bra is probably for someone who is full on top.

Edit: I've been trying this bra off and on throughout the day, because I wasn't sure if the baggyness was because I didn't put the bra on properly. I'm happy to say that after trying it on properly, I was able to fill up the cup at the top. However, I still got the pointy shape due to the above (my first comment). Unfortunately, the 30DD was too big so going up a cup size in this style won't help me.

Edit 2: I decided to try on this bra again today since this was the first bra I ever bought when trying to find a good fitting bra and I finally found a bunch of bras that finally fit well so I wanted to compare the fit. I'm concluding that the cups were definately too small for me.

My calculated size is 28E/F (28"/27"/26" underbust, 32.5"-33"/34.5"/33" bust). I would describe my shape as being projected, FOB, very close set, tall roots, splayed roots, maybe narrow roots?

I got the Jasmine in both 30DD and 30D to try out. In my experience, the sizing is actually pretty forgiving (I think potentially because of the stretch lace on the top). I had a similar fit in both -- the pros being smooth in the bottom of the cup + wonderful projected shape, the cons being gore too wide and sitting on my tissue (but not terrible or uncomfortable), areola/nipple being prone to poking out through the top lace ... portion (due to me being FOB) and showing through my clothing when I'm cold/generally being prone to pointiness, slight wrinkles (but no empty space) on the outside portion of the cups. However, I could tell in the 30D (compared to the 30DD) that the cup cut into my tissue on the sides, and it squished my tissue into my body a little.

Overall, the 30D is not a bad fit, but I do prefer the 30DD!

    Didn't fit

I knew that Floris was unlikely to fit in my current sister size of 30DD as I've already tried Olivia and Thea, which are similar models for FOT shapes. However, since I still fit Olivia in 30D, I figured it was worth a try to see how Floris fit in a size down. Unfortunately, the only reason Olivia fits in this size is due to the stretch fabrication. Since Floris is made with completely rigid cups, the overall bra is too small all around.

The one thing I really liked is that the band is firm and TTS. It measures a bit on the small ... end for a 30, but feels nice and comfortable on me. The wings are made from firm stretch knit, and there's a fairly wide bottom edge elastic that runs throughout the entire band, including the cradle, for an extra secure feel. The printed cups are a silky thin fabric similar to Thea, many printed Freya styles, and printed Cleos like Kayla, Minnie, and Ellis. The bottom cup is completely lined with tricot for a supportive feel. The upper cup is embroidered printed mesh and is quite wide. The edge is scalloped and is simply trimmed to the embroidery shape, with no additional stitching or stabilizing elastic. Because of the amount of embroidery on the upper cup, it does not really have any stretch.

Being a size too small, it was just too small everywhere, from the wires to the cup depth. It didn't look horrible, but you could tell that the whole thing is not the right size. Unfortunately I am pretty sure sizing up to 30DD won't work, since I am not FOT enough to fill out the upper cup in this shape. Therefore, Floris and Thea are not for me, and I can only get away with this cut in the stretchy Olivia fabric in a size down.

Aesthetically, I think this style is a bit hit or miss on the prints. As much as I love florals, some of these are a bit too much like 80s upholstery for my tastes. This Floral Multi colorway is a white-based floral with classic English flowers like cabbage roses, violas, cornflowers, and clematis done is a semi-photoreal style, layered over a stylized woodblock print of blue flowers and indescribable motifs. I'm not sure why these two elements were combined, as I think the flowers would've been nice by themselves on a darker ground. Some people may also prefer the print to run throughout the bra, but only the cups are printed. The band and straps, which are diamond-textured picot-edged elastic, are all solid. The only trim is a small pink bow at the center gore.

The lace on this bra is a little thicker than I would prefer except for the stretch lace across the top of the cup which seems thin and like it might not last. I had to start with the middle hook unlike other Panache bra of same bandsize which I started with widest hook setting.

Even though the fabric of the cup sits against my skin all over, the wire seems too wide at the top. There ends up being a flat crescent shape on the side under my arms of about 1 cm at the top of the wire that narrows and disappears by the middle bottom of the cup.

Olivia is one of the few bras that fit me at 28DD/30D and still fits at 28E/30DD, so I've been on a quest to pick up another one. I tried the 30DD, but as it is cut for FOT shapes, I couldn't fill out the upper cup. Thus, I decided to stick with my original size of 30D despite it being a bit small. Right now, this size feels rather tight, but as it is so stretchy, it is still comfortable. I was able to order two more from eBay as I wanted these as everyday unlined bras for summer wear. This is ... my second of two Raspberry Olivias since I got this one for a great price. Unfortunately this one arrived with a funky odor, so I am returning it and reordering another one.

The band is nice and firm, made with stretch lace jacquard double lined powermesh. While the materials overall are super soft, some of the colorways have slightly stiffer wings than others, which is a minor difference but worth noting.

The measurements are extremely consistent between all the Olivias, which I really appreciate. In my current size, the bottom cup is a bit small, but passable. The bottom cup of the 30DD was better. The upper cut stretches and fits me well, so on me you can't tell that the cut is for FOT shapes as I am relatively even and can't usually fill out FOT bras. I'd really prefer the bottom cup and wires of the 30DD with the upper cup of the 30D, but you sometimes have to make do! My only complaint about the bra that I just noticed recently is that the center (horizontal) cup seam is rather thick and can be visible under clothing. I think the fabric used on this bra is so invisible that the seams are more noticeable than on an average unlined bra. Unfortunately, this makes it less than ideal for tight clothing, but I think it's still a great lightweight bra for everyday wear.

Construction-wise, I love this bra. The band is super firm and feels secure, and even though it measures as a 30, it feels like a snug 28 and is very comfortable for me. It is a full band style which I prefer. The band is solid powermesh with jacquard elastic lace overlay, so it has two layers of stretch, and the bottom band elastic is firm. The upper cup is the same stretch jacquard lace as used on the band, and it's super soft and comfortable. It is very similar to the upper cup lace of the Fantasie Illusion Side Support bra that I also find to be very comfortable, as it also has.a flat-knit stretch edge that really lays flat on the body without any bulk. The bottom cup is made from polka dot mesh lined with super soft tricot, so they feel a little more like the cups on the Cleo Marcie or Curvy Kate Princess bras, rather than the firm and supportive fabric of the Thea. The polka dot design continues onto the straps, which are fully adjustable, and the only decoration is a bow at the center gore.

I have now collected Raspberry, Cobalt, and Navy in 30D and have found them all to be lovely!

The only odd thing about this particular bra is that mine arrived without the center gore bow. Thus, I am unsure if this was a manufacturing error, or if someone had previously purchased this bra, cut off the bow, and returned it. I've decided to reorder it to see, and I've also ordered Navy and a second Raspberry from eBay as I was able to get them at a much better price from the UK than through standard US retailers.

The band is solid powermesh with jacquard elastic lace overlay, so it has two layers of stretch, and the bottom band elastic is firm. This is the third Olivia I've ordered in 30D, and all 3 measure and fit consistently.

    Fits

Olivia is one of the few bras that fit me at 28DD/30D and still fits at 28E/30DD, so I've been on a quest to pick up another one. I tried the 30DD, but as it is cut for FOT shapes, I couldn't fill out the upper cup. Thus, I decided to stick with my original size of 30D despite it being a bit small. Right now, this size feels rather tight, but as it is so stretchy, it is still comfortable. I was able to order two more from eBay as I wanted these as everyday unlined bras for summer wear.

The band is nice ... and firm, made with stretch lace jacquard double lined powermesh. While the materials overall are super soft, some of the colorways have slightly stiffer wings than others, which is a minor difference but worth noting.

The measurements are extremely consistent between all the Olivias, which I really appreciate. In my current size, the bottom cup is a bit small, but passable. I have now collected Raspberry, Cobalt, and Navy in 30D and have found them all to be lovely! The Navy is actually a very deep indigo with a purple cast. I don't usually wear navy anymore, but this one functions well as a black under clothing.

    Didn't fit

I'm the kind of person who gravitates toward either sexy lingerie or pretty lingerie, so I'm not quite sure how I ended up intrigued by a full cup brown bra when it's neither a color that would be a nude for me nor a color I would normally wear. However, it happened to go on sale for super cheap on Amazon, and I usually like Panache unlined fits, so I picked it up to try.

In person, this style is much prettier than I expected. It is currently only available in Black and Caramel (which is actually a deep cool brown), but I think it would be ... lovely in an array of colors, and especially in soft white with ivory embroidery. The cups and wings are made of sheer mesh, and the upper cup and bottom of the cradle are adorned with tonal floral embroidery of stylized roses or peonies. The bottom cup is made from non-stretch tricot-lined mesh, so it's firm and supportive, while the upper cup is single layer. Straps have a rib texture like the Cleo Marcie, and the cradle has a crossover elastic construction at the gore like Panache Andorra.

I keep telling myself that Panache runs about a cup large, so I "should" still be able to fit a 30D, plus there was no 30DD available. While every other 30D I've tried recently has been far too small, this one almost fits. I found the band to be quite firm, so despite being TTS for a 30 band, it felt pretty secure. The cups are full coverage and enclose the entire breast, but it's clearly designed for someone with a different shape. I need more room at the bottom of the wire to gather all the tissue from the sides, although the cup width isn't exactly a problem. The cup also closes in too sharply and cuts into my tall roots. It feels like a more rounded version of the Tango fit, which also doesn't suit me. Even though this isn't a pointy cut, the shape of the cup ends up making me look unexpectedly pointy.

That said, I surprisingly didn't have any trouble with the cup height, which is one of the tallest I've tried in an unlined bra. Based on the measurements of the 30DD the cup depth is too big for me, so I guess I'll have to give this one a pass. A shame, since it's actually super comfortable and quite lovely, with super soft materials. It would make a great summer bra. I hope Panache brings back the styling and construction with an updated fit for future styles as they seem to be lacking a lightweight mesh unlined bra in their line right now.
