MY SHAPE: round, projected, even, close set, on the narrow end of average root width.

THE TAKEAWAY: Front, center, and on display! Gives something of a retro, pointed silhouette - if you're into it, you'll love it, but this is not the bra for you if you want to minimize your bust line. Forgiving stretch lace is great for even to FoT shapes. Average wire width. If you have very little tissue on the sides, you may experience wrinkling at the side sling. Band runs true to size.

DETAILS: I'm not new to the Panache Jasmine - it was in my first batch of properly fitting bras back when ... I was in 32DD; a mid-way point between the 36C I'd worn for so long and the snugger, but better fitting, 28F/30E. I've long since needed to retire my 32DD in Black Ricamo, so over the last couple months I've tried various colorways and sizes until I settled on this one as the keeper. Love the rose print! It's sophisticated and sexy. I've always enjoyed the retro, pointed Jasmine silhouette and that remains true today. Fabric is a bit stiff and scratchy out of the box, so the seam between the printed fabric and the stretch lace is pronounced under tight fitting clothes. A few handwashes takes care of that.

While the bra definitely fits as per Bratabase criteria, I do get a curious bit of vertical wrinkling on the sides at the sling (see side view picture). The wire width is right within my best fitting parameters (5.0-5.2", this is 5.1") so it's not that the wire is too wide and I'm unable to fill out some of the cup. I'm guessing this is an outer fullness issue? Almost all of my tissue is on the front of my chest, so I'm guessing there's not much for the sling to gather and push forward. Anyone have any other thoughts?

Well I think we have very similar shapes so I'm going to be nosing around your reviews >>

The worst side sling issue I've ever had is definitely the Sophia from KHI, but I probably also have some side wrinkling in my own Jasmine :\

    • rainbrasspetals come to think of it, I HAVE had issues with side slings in the past - more specifically, the Fantasie Marianna Side Support Plunge Bra (9202), which basically indented into my breasts. It was a comically bad fit, and I wish I'd taken pictures now!

Beautiful bra! That color on you is fantastic. Did you try a reverse swoop and scoop to push more to the sides? I sometimes do that on some bra types.

    • 1

      Sob!

Yeah I have a fit request for an Empreinte that flattened me out hilariously on the side with the support sling...

I also feel like my center fullness has caused a lot of unhappiness with bras that fit okay, but gave me a weird shape I couldn't otherwise explain. I'm sort of desperately looking forward to the Cleo Mimi that will arrive on Friday, and future orders with Impimi after my bank account recovers a little. (Which might be sooner rather than later if more of the other bras I'm waiting on strike out.)

    • 1

wow, thats a gorgeous colorway! hopefully the wrinkling will calm after a couple of washes

    • Gorgeous!

    • roxannelovesbras I gave the reverse scoop 'n' swoop a go, and while that does alleviate some of the wrinkling, it creates a new problem: I can't fill out the top of the cups. Luckily, the wrinkling isn't a deal breaker by any means, so I'm keeping it :)

My Shape: asymmetrical, close-set, splayed, soft-tissue, projected, even fullness, tall roots

Jasmine holds, centres and lifts my breasts beautifully and surprisingly, I do not have the retro pointy-shape look but a more rounded profile. The wires encapsulate around my breasts almost perfectly - of course the smaller breast's cup is a bit too wide. The gore lies flat and comfortable, but the top tip of the gore is slightly stepping over my breasts' tissues. I was afraid that wearing a non-moulded bra would make my asymmetrical breasts be very visible but it's hardly noticeable and the stretchy lace is very accommodating to my smaller and bigger breast especially during ... fluctuation. I also love how firm the band fits.

My only concern is the wrinkles. Beside the obvious wrinkles from my smaller breast, my breasts are splay shaped and this causes slight wrinkling more towards the bottom and in between the gore. When my breasts are swollen, the bigger breast cup's folds become more prominent and this will leave indent marks on my breast. But the style, shaping and lift from Jasmine is beautiful.

I've been told that this bra is the sister bra to Panache Envy, so I ordered it hoping that I'd like it just as much.

After trying it on, I decided that I really liked the fit. Felt as good as the Envy with the exception of a few things...

    1. The gore on the Jasmin is a bit higher than Envy. I'm measuring around 1.3cm higher. This is a bit higher than I'd like to go because it has to sit on one of my boobs for it to lie flat. Still comfy, but looks slightly off.

    2. I think the wire placement in Jasmin is a tiny tiny ... bit wider towards the pits than Envy. Since it isn't in a place I'm not used to, it feels weird and my arm pit fat kinda overflows from the band. I have no idea if it makes sense, but I'll probably get used to it.

All in all, I really like this bra. I love the pretty design and it feels great regardless of the two areas above. I'd recommend anyone who likes Envy to try Jasmin out!

Edit: Returned for one with a smaller band

Shape: round, projected, even to FoB, close set, average root width.

Through some serious trial and error, I have tried this bra in: 32DD, 30E, 30F, and 28FF. Spoiler alert: the size I wear in nearly everything else, 30E, is the best fit out of the bunch. This gives me delightful retro torpedo boobs. This is not a look for everyone, but I am absolutely tickled by it, and will probably buy this in nearly every colorway I can get my hands on. Pros: the front/center/at attention shape; the gore, while tall, is actually pretty narrow at the apex which is good for my very close-set breasts; and the stretch lace at the top of the cup is awesomely comfy. Cons: the wires/cup are a touch too wide for me (but not a deal breaker), and the graphic print is not on the softest fabric and so it bunches a bit at the seam with the stretch lace - perhaps not the best bra to wear under tight t-shirts if visible seams aren't your thing.

Stretch lace is nice so the cups fit even when my size fluctuates. Band feels nice. Not enough immediate projection, my breasts push the bra down. Also wires are a bit wide on my smaller breast. It would probably be a keeper but I find the seams itchy. Also gore bothers me by the end of the day, much less than my Cleo bras, but at the end of the day I notice it.

Sometimes squeaks a bit and digs into my sternum. The little pink bow is really cute. Gives me a weird shape under clothes.. think it's the side slings that do it.

In the picture it looks like I'm getting an orange in a glass effect but I think the straps are too loose.
Edit- now I've tightened the straps it doesn't seem to dig in so much and now feels much more comfortable.
The squeaking seems to have stopped also.

This bra was a perfect fit for my average projection. It gives a nice uplift, but it is very thin. The only thing that is holding me back from keeping this bra is that it gives a pointy profile. I think this is caused by the seam where the lace is sewn to the cup. I'm even, leaning more toward FoB, but I think if I had a little more fullness up top, I would keep it, as it would give me that "green" shape. But for now, it's more like a ski slope https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

This is a beautiful bra. It gives me a slight pointy appearance, which I think is because it is very projected. It can be somewhat uncomfortable, but I do love how it looks.

I usually go for a 30F in Panache bras, with Andorra and Melody being best fits from them, but Jasmine has more lower projection than either of those two, and combining that with the stretchy lace on the top means I only need a 30E in this one. The fit is very good, although the side-sling can dig in a bit, which is luckily not visible under clothing.

    Oh! I love this bra!

Only problem with it? The gore pokes a little bit. It wasn't to the point of ridiculous pain, but it was certainly annoying. (EDIT: It is however, my first bra where the gore actually tacks, so it takes getting used to. After wearing it my second day, I find that it bothers me sporadically, so it might have something to do with small adjustments I make when putting it on.)

I love the stretch lace. I find that it's more forgiving if the bra is maybe one cup size too small. I don't see any fit issues at all with this one except for maybe some slight gapping when I am sitting. But it's so accommodating to my boobs.

Besides the gore thing, they are really comfortable. The band fit my 30" ribcage comfortably. They give my boobs a nice rounded shape, although they do tend to project a bit more than I'd like into an almost-torpedo. But I am overall happy with how they look.
