    Didn't fit

As promised, here's your in-depth review!

Here's what you should know: The band is QUITE tight. I realistically could not even get it to stretch to 31 in. If you're between sizes, choose your larger band size. In my pics you can see it gives me a much bigger bulge under the back band than most of my bras do, I may end up putting an extender on it for a while. As I expected since it's Panache and not Cleo, compared to Marcie it doesn't fit radically different but it is, as we say, "more bra." Here's a comparison pic: imgur.com/g1cVpdo. The gore and wings are ... higher, and it's a little taller in the cups, a little bit wider wires, probably closer to the cut of Floris but the fabric makes it very different--I'll talk about that in a sec. Even tho it was taller in the cup than my Marcie, I found it still worked for me even with short roots because it seems more closed on top. If Marcie/Floris didn't work for you because you're too FOB, I would say give this a shot.

The biggest change from any of the Panache/Cleo 3-part balconettes that have come before it is that the bottom section is made from a stiff reinforced (laminated?) type mesh. Instead of being made for shape, this one is made for total support. Those in small cup size might find the construction excessive for the amount of support they need. I'd speculate it could give some back pain relief to the J-K crowd cause the stronger fabric really lifts you from the root. The downside is that since it's stiffer it doesn't mold to the body as well, so it's a tad wrinkly, but it wouldn't be visible except under tight clothes (and I wouldn't wear this with a tight shirt anyway because of the lace). Unlike last year's Olivia whose fabric was so stretchy I thought it would only work for those with very firm and full breasts, this fabric is so stiff I would highly recommend it for those like me with very soft breasts who need a little help being shaped, or those with pendulous breasts who need a lot of lift.

The shape is markedly more pointy than the Marcie, at least on me as someone with somewhat conical breasts. As you can see in my pics the "peak" is apparent through clothing. I'm not bothered by this--especially because it gives A LOT of forward projection--but those who dislike a pointy shape might want to stay away, at least until we see how it looks on someone with rounder breasts.

As for its appearance it's absolutely lovely. They describe it as Pink/Grey but to be more specific it's like a dusty rose base with sort of bluish charcoal overlay. The upper section has lace on top of a folded over mesh section, like the top of the Tutti Rouge Sophia/Mae.

All in all, I'm really pleasantly surprised by this one! It's nice to see Panache introduce something different construction-wise because Panache/Freya/other big names seem to mostly stick too "if it ain't broke don't fix it," but the improved fabrication of this bra is a liiiitle step forward.

EDIT: After wearing it today, OW. I'd recommend even more strongly to size up in the band, as this still dug in everywhere even with an extender. The higher wings/gore/etc also made things worse. I probably wore it for way longer than I should have but I don't think I'll be wearing this as a full day bra again any time soon. x_x I should have taken pics of the red marks cause you could see the full construction of the bra all over me! And I know red marks aren't always bad, but these were ANGRY and chafe-y. :'( ouch.

Lovely, thank you for that review! I was hoping it was more open on top like the floris, because it is lovely. Not sure I'll try it or just stick w floris which is so perfect for me

    • 2

dbmamaz I did think of you cuz I know you're a Floris lover! But if you need room on top, it might not work. :l

I was super interested in this bra. I don't think it will work for me based on your description, but it really is lovely. Thanks so much for a great review :)

    Fits

This was absolute bargain and it's totally underrated! I got it from ebay for about 7€ (last one) and managed to find 2 more for about 20€. The baby blue looks super cute and what appears to be white in the pictures is actually a very light cream or blush (hard to tell). It is almost invisible under a fitted white shirt. My only complaint is that the lace part on top tends to fold over so it looks like it is wrinkling even though the cups are perfectly filled, but you can probably fix this with a few stitches. The shape is very round but a bit ... taller and more projected then my Cleo Marcie (http://bra.pe/XYLq/).

The support is amazing. The whole design is probably overkill for smaller cup sizes. But I can imagine that it works very well for a pair of large, heavy boobs. Mine aren't very big but quite dense and heavy so it feels really nice to get this level of support. The gore is very high: It measures 7.5cm which is about as high as my Cleo Kayla (http://bra.pe/XYLt/). But considering the gap at the bottom of the band it is more like 10cm.
It tack very firmly and anchors the upper part of the cups to my sternum so there is no jiggling even when I run or jump. But it also pokes me a little when I try to slouch. The lower elastic of the band is also crossed over in front and attached to the wire channels which makes the center part more rigid.

The cups are almost completely closed on top. It actually feels more like a full cup bra with wide set straps. They are made of two layers with the outer, blue layer for decoration. The lower ¾ of the inner layer are made of a thick mesh that could probably stop bullets. The upper ¼ section is a little stretchy but still firm enough for me to do a handstand without having to adjust my boobs afterward. The wires are firm and quite tall at the sides. But they are narrow enough to follow my IMF without digging in. The band fits incredibly tight (more like a 27) but not in a pinchy or uncomfortable way. It kinda adds to the overall supportive feeling. I'm sure a 30F would be firm enough as well but on some super busy days I actually like having my bra as tight as possible. Quality is also great. I got my oldest one about 5 month ago and it still feels and looks like new.

I like the esthetic of this bra!

    • 1

I like the looks of this bra. Maybe I should check it out. Only thing is tall bras don't usually work for me. Based on your measurements it could work though... doesn't seem too tall based on cup height. I'd definitely try it if I found it at that price, that's for sure!

    • 2

      This is lovely!

    • 1

The only fault I found with this bra is that the outer fabric is really wrinkly. Some are worse than others (maybe manufacturing error) and I think it's especially true for soft tissue. I love the double layer for support I wish they hadn't discontinued it or at least improved the wrinkling with a new model. So much stretch lace around but not so many bras like this one.

    • letstalkaboutbras that's good to know, especially since I do have soft tissue. I noticed the wrinkling in the pictures posted actually. I guess it's sort of a moot point since I can't find one leftover online anyways.

    • 1

I think this bra is so pretty, and it looks great on you! I tried it, but it did not work with my tall roots. I was sad that I had to return it.

    • 1

      Thank you all so much!

@letstalkaboutbras Now I also see the wrinkling, dammit ;-).
My breast are very firm and the volume is perfect so I guess it could be worse for someone with soft tissue or if the cups are slightly too large. But a bit of wrinkling is probably unavoidable if you have two layers of fabric that are just connected at the edges.

@Wilderness1 It was a lucky find. I always stalk ebay for discontinued styles, especially http://stores.ebay.co.uk/lingerieoutletstore/ .
Sometimes they they have 28 or 30 bands for under 10 Pounds (14 $).

    Hasn't set fit

A quick review of the new Georgia:

I bought this because it's said to be similar to Floris, which fits me well in this size.

The band is much longer and stretchier than what I'm used to from Panache. I compared it to a new Jasmine in 30GG and it's about a size larger.

The cups fit smaller on me than Floris does. It's probably shallower in the middle, but it also appears smaller all over.

Much softer, both in the band and the cups, than Floris, which I suppose is good for comfort on a sensitive day, but sadly makes it unwearable for me.

A great bra for those it fit though. The design is pretty, materials are of good quality and soft to the touch.

    Fits

I love this bra dearly and cannot understand why Panache decided to discontinue it after 2 seasons (or so it seems to me, having not seen it in previews for aw16 and ss17). It looks gorgeous, it's incredibly comfortable, and gives a very pleasant shape - round, but not to the extent of the Cleo orbs.

The band is true to size, stretching to 30in, and the gore tacks perfectly. I like the gothic arch band construction. I'm no expert, but it feels like it gives additional support, and looking nice doesn't hurt either. The projection at the bottom of the cups is ample for me, but I'm not ... FOB. I've read in some reviews that the cups are closed on top, but they don't strike me as such. The upper section of the cup lies perfectly flat, even though my roots are somewhat long. Also, I really appreciate the soft mesh fold-over cup edges, as it stays really flat agains the breast, flatter than lace edges tend to. The cups are quite low-coverage on me, having a true balconette shape.

The colour contrast between dusty rose pink and charcoal is great, and all the fabrics look upscale. There's quite a bit of wrinkling on the cups, but I believe its only the outer, stiff mesh, rather than the cup as a whole. The centre bow is the only ornament, and it's small and understated, which works perfectly. The fully adjustable straps are extra comfortable, with soft lining.

If only Panache released more colourways, I could wear Georgia and nothing else.

The Panache Georgia is one of those bras I kinda wish I could wear, despite the fit issues. The color coordination is pretty good (not that it's necessarily difficult with only two colors) and all of the patterns collide well with one another. The dots on the blue mesh fabric in the main part of the cup aren't very visible, but add a little extra fun to it. The pastel blue/pink combo isn't bad and I actually wish the pink was a little bit stronger. The top part of the cup has some decorative mesh that seems to be a little closer to pale skin-nude rather than pale ... pink.

Once again this is a Panache bra, and once again the quality is impeccable. What's interesting is that they've used two different fabrics to make the band - The band material under the cups and out to the wing is light blue like the wire channels. That part of the band is made up of two pieces of fabric, which are stitched together in a cross in the middle under the gore. And on the same seam as the wing, a pink band is stiched onto the blue one and comprises the majority of the band going out to the hooks. There's an extra stripe of fabric that goes between the underwires (wire channels) and combined with the cross stitched band, this makes the gore part stiffer and less flexible than in other bras like the Cleo Blake.

This bra is so pretty! The band fits nicely. But, unfortunately the cups are way too big for me. There is a lot of wrinkling at the tops and a little extra material at the bottom. The wires are longer than is comfortable, so they poke under my arms. Finally, the straps sit too wide for me. I do really like the overall shape and look of the bar, however, so I think I will try it in a smaller size. Based off other Panache bras I have recently acquired, I think a 34GG might be the perfect size.

This bra is so pretty! I love the look of lace on the front with light fabric underneath. The fit on me is ok... the band is a bit loose (can easily get it on tightest hook straight away) and the cups are a tad shallow. But it works well enough to feel pretty for a few hours. For all day wear I notice that my breasts push the wires down into my ribs and it can get uncomfortable (especially with the lace on the bottom.) Overall though I'll wear it becasue the beauty out weighs the minor fit issues.

The lower portion of the cup seems much stiffer than the upper portion, creating some serious in-cup quad on me.

I like how the top of the cup is folded over instead of sewn right at the edge. This kind of design could be kind to full on top shapes - it seems to cut in less on me.

Right now it is a miss due to the in cup quad, but I may hold onto it in case I get my weight down - I could see it fitting better then.

I suspected this bra would not work for me, based on reviews I had read, but I had a 30% off coupon and it was so pretty, I thought I'd give it a try. Appearance-wise, I think it's beautiful. I don't normally go for pastel colors, but I really like the colors of this bra. The band and straps are a very pale pink, and the cups are the same pale pink, with a baby blue mesh overlay. Below the diagonal seam, it looks like a plain blue mesh, but there are small dots woven into the mesh. The top part of the overlay is lace and part ... of the pale pink cup is visible above the lace. The lace is also on the gore, around the underwires, and extends a little bit out onto the wings. The fit, on me, is not good. The gore is crazy tall - the highest of any of the bras that I own, which does not work for my close set boobs. I didn't wear the bra for long, but I could already feel it sliding down out of my IMF, so I guess it is probably too shallow at the bottom. And theven shape of the cups is not compatible with my fuller on top/tall rooted boobs. Sigh. The band didn't feel as secure as I'm used to from Panache bras, though that could be because the bra was sliding down my rib cage.
