    Hasn't set fit

I bought this because the Panache website said it was modeled on the popular Panache Black Ardour Sweetheart Moulded Bra (7951) . This bra fits decently for a molded cup in my size range, but overall I don't like it as much as the Ardour. It's only slightly cheaper, but definitely feels less luxurious. This isn't to say there's anything wrong with the materials or construction--its a just noticable having them side by side, the Ardour has smoother, silkier, and more delicate materials.

Fit: I appreciate the fairly low wings and thin straps (I know most people like thicker straps for support, but I appreciate having some "dainty" looking straps to wear under tank tops). The cups have decent projection at the bottom, but are shallow near the gore. As a result my center fullness pushes the wire down out of my IMF.

    • It is remarkable the difference subtle pattern changes create in regard to fit. Center projection and wires pushing down: ouch. Looks beautiful on you!

This bra fits me really well. This is my best fitting molded bra. I have narrow roots with high projection. This bra makes my boobs look round and offers food support. Pretty comfortable and soft.

Almost a year ago I had tried this one in the next cup size down, but I didn't keep it. Since then I've change size (which might be a certain amount of migration). Anyway, the problem I had back then is the same I'm having now. By all accounts it fits, except when I roll my shoulders forward. Then I get the gaping, in a buckling-at-the-strap sort of way. Somehow, it seems that if the manufacturer would simply attach the straps closer to the apex of the cups it would immediately fix that problem. (It's the same problem I have with most bras, and I don't ... understand why they put the straps so close to the armpits. But it does make me wonder if the gaping issue I have would be a problem at all if I were not 'low-set'.)
The shape is an interesting mix of both natural and rounded. Kind of a modified pointy-round, and definitely projected kind of shape. Keeps the girls very front and center. The cups are fairly stiff and don't have very much 'give'; not as stiff as the Freya Deco, but not nearly as conforming as the stretch cups of the Wacoal Lace Affair.
The gore is a tad wide on me, both at the top and at the bottom, but it's not unbearable once I get it on properly.
The band is firm and true to size. For some reason, the hook & eyes are scratchy on my back, and I can't figure out why.

Update: I modified the straps by adding a color-matched, non-stretch binding along the straps, 2" just above the cups. I then positioned the binding into a triangle shape, attaching the other ends to the cups, in line over the center of the apex. This gave 2 results - #1: it reduced the stretch in the front straps; #2: the straps now spread the support of the weight from the apex, rather than only at the armpits. Tada! It solved my gaping problem when I roll my shoulders forward!

This bra's measurements have been altered
Modified straps at point of attachment to cups. Created a non-stretch "triangle" above the cups. Straps now pull from the apex of cups.

    Pros:
Molded cups are firm, but not breastplate style like the Freya Deco. Projected cups and wires on the narrow end of the spectrum. Shape is somewhat rounded, somewhat pointed. Band is true to size. Gore is 7/8" and cups have sufficient center fullness. Cups give a natural profile. Neither spreads the girls apart or pulls them too close together.

    Con's:
Front straps are set far apart. Causes gaping when I roll my shoulders forward. Strong headlights are ever so faintly visible, but not enough to show through clothing.

My shape: tallish roots, low set, averagely projected, even. This is currently my best fitting bra - it encloses my boobs without any quadding or gaping. My breasts don't feel compressed at the apex either, which is something I often experience with molded bras ( but take this with a pinch of salt because my other bras are in 30F....it might just be a better cup size for me!). The cups are covered in a silky microfiber with lace overlay on the outer corners of the cups. The wings of the bra are made from the same soft microfiber and I find the Elise very comfy - I ... wore it for a day of travelling and forgot I had it on! I also own the Ardour, which is apparently similar, and the Elise isn't quite up to it's high quality in terms of materials and finishing, but it feels good, it's a bit cheaper, and the very pale blue isn't noticable under white t shirts, although the trim at the top of the cups does show a little in tight tops. I also find the Elise less projected than the Ardour.

I'm not sure what to make of this Elise. By the measurements it fits well, and indeed it does (after 'swoop & scoop', of course) but only as long as I'm standing up straight, or if I bend at the hips so that my back stays straight. But the moment I bend from the waist or roll my shoulders, I start to get the gaping; especially on my smaller side. The same thing happened to me on the Wacoal Lace Affair 32DDD, which supposedly fit me, but has a shallower cup design. I have wide enough shoulders so the straps are not too far apart for ... me... so I don't think that's the problem. The Elise is very similar in design to the Panache Odette, which I do really well in. So I don't understand why this one gapes so easily. Maybe it is simply a matter of being a little more open, where I am functionally FoB.
The color of this bra is called 'Praline', which makes me think of almonds and caramelized sugar. But seriously, this color should have been called 'Milk Chocolate'; minor point for sure, but I was disappointed in the color.
The band fit true to size, the ballet back helps minimize back fat. The cup fits my shape (except for detail listed above), The wires aren't too long or too short, etc., etc.. I guess the only thing I don't really care for is the band sewn across the top of the cup. It is thicker than I thought it would be and it will show under snug tops.

    Didn't fit

Ordered my usual Panache size 32FF. It fit simultaneously too big (in the cups) and too small (in the band). Center gore seems to fit fine (and thankfully lower than my beloved Panache Clara with too high a gore). The cups however looked almost comical. At least 1 size too big. The band was uncomfortably small (easily resolved with an extender). It's cute and would be a nice t-shirt bra in the correct size/fit. For reference, I'm FoB, wide/short rooted and narrow set.

    Didn't fit

I've tried this bra in 3 sizes, 36G, 38F and now 38E. The band runs small, so i skipped 36F which is my goto in the only tshirt I own. In every size, even this one with a too small cup, there is gap at the top of the cup. I'm done. Also the grey lace on this color, Shell/blush, looks dirty.

I would recommend the Elise for women both FOT and FOB, projected.

My next try is a @Wacoal La Femme t-shirt bra, which seems more closed on top, and not too high for my short roots.
