I've only tried this on so far but I gotta say, I love this bra! If you like your boobs hoisted up there, this is the bra for you. I used to love the jasmine but I wasn't crazy about the unbreathable material. And while I liked the flexibility of the stretch lace I was starting to need more support in that area. This bra gives me what jasmine can not. Great for full on top. Plenty of room in the cup with no quadding. I've never seen my boobs so high. And the material is so comfortable and breathable. The band band on ... this bra is on the larger side for panache so consider sizing down. I'm keeping the 34 because I'm noticing these days I have a little extra cushion but I will look into getting a 32HH down the line if need be. Please try this bra. I want panache to continue it. I will update this review after giving it a proper wear but first impressions, I'm in love. The first bra I haven't had to rely on tightening the straps a lot in order to help lift the girls higher.

Update: I wore this bra for two days to give it a test run. I'm still in love. It's comfortable from the get go and It keeps its shape and support after a days wear. I'm considering buying more when they go on sale and trying to dye them. I want to wear this bra every day.

2nd Update: Still love the bra. However, as I originally stated the band is on the larger side. This has never happened to me with Panache. I've had the bra about a week or so and I'm already on the second set of hooks. In the future I will get a 32HH in this style. I'm curious to see how others find the band.

Great review on the Floris and this bra. I've been doing research and I've had my eye on these bras but no one had reviewed them at all anywhere that was knowledgeable so I was hesitant. I will at least give it a shot. Thanks!

By the way would you say for your size at least if the wires are narrower or wider?

    • 1

Also would like to say that at the end of a long day, the Jasmine just doesn't quite do it for my soft FoT boobs as they spill out so I'm with you on the needing more support!

    • 1

xelestial, that's my main problem with Jasmine now. Also in warmer weather that fabric is not very comfortable. I would say the wires are a good middle ground. Not as narrow as Kris Line but nowhere near Elomi width. The cups are close together too which I like. I lined Colette up with Jasmine and it looks like the wires are the same width. Colette wires are a little longer but not in the armpit,I think the gore is a little higher. Colette does have a little more full coverage so may be a problem with very low shirts. The bra is so wonderful that I don't care. I don't wear very low shirts often.

    • 3

It sounds like the Colette is a true full cup bra, which I don't mind. Sometimes you just need that kind of support. This sounds odd, but I'm glad to hear of others having issues with the Jasmine because everyone seems to think it's near perfect. It starts out that way for me, but then eventually I am spilling over and get some quad boob after a few hours or so. The Jasmine's gore shows under low-cut tops for me anyway, at least in my size, so the Colette won't be a problem. I'll order it today and make sure to review it. Thank you so much for all the info. I'm so glad the wires aren't longer in the armpit for you, I am so sick of digging wires.

    • Glad I could help!

    Didn't fit

Honestly, this bra fits me very similarly to my 32G - Panache Black ยป Esme Balconnet Bra (9031). I'm pretty sure it's the same (or very similar) cut, which would make this bra a lacy, slightly more see-through version of the Jasmine. The only difference is that the Colette does not have stretch lace, and the Esme is made of nicer-feeling materials, but that's likely since the Colette is a mainstream Panache rather than a Panache Black. It doesn't feel bad, just the tiniest bit stiff. The claret colorway is gorgeous and subtle.

This bra fits me great, I'd say the band fits true-to-size or a touch firmer. As with all Panaches the wires are hard as rocks, and the gore is quite high on this bra, but if you like the Jasmine and want something a bit less loud you'll probably like the Colette.

  3. My measurements for reference: snug 32, BTT 30.5, standing 38.5, leaning 41, lying 39. Pendulous, projected, narrowish shortish root, FOB/even (I think). I have a lot of outside fullness.

The first thing I have to say is that this bra is so very pretty! Lovely colour, the tone-on-tone embroidery on the fine mesh cups is gorgeous. There are even little embroidered dots on the strap. So, can't complain about that part at all.

    Now, to business.

The fit is pretty decent. The band is comfortably snug on the loosest hooks. The gore tacks. The wires are about right. I can fill the cups pretty well except on my smaller ... side, where the lace flaps a bit near the gore. The lift and shape I get is quite good, with a slightly more natural shape in profile than I get from my Cleos. It's not remotely pointy, just not quite as round as some.

The bottom projection is just not quite as much as I need, so there is just a bit of wrinkling at the bottom of the cups. The cup on my larger side, however, stays in place, although the cup on my smaller side rides down a bit throughout the day. I think I get it, though. When the wires are right and the cup is properly filled, it stays in place. When there's a little extra space in the cup, it shifts around. I guess a bra that half fits is as much as any of us asymmetrical gals can ask for.

Also, I tend to get a little in-cup quad-boob, just like with my Cleos. Le sigh. Barely noticeable under clothes, though.

The other main quibble I have is that the thread they used for the embroidery doesn't have quite the give that the mesh has, and so there are some funny puckers in the cup. I really hope this improves with wear and washing, although again, it doesn't really show under clothes. However, this is such a pretty bra that I'd like to swan about the bedroom in it. But not when it's all puckery.

    • Did the puckering improve with wear and washing? I am having this problem with the bra and not sure if I want to keep it or not.

    • Unfortunately, no. It hasn't really improved at all. :(

    • Bummer :( Thanks for responding to let me know.

    30DD

    Fits

Colette is an older discontinued style that I've wanted to try for a long time. I managed to find it from one of my regular eBay sellers recently. While 28E is my best size, 30DD is a safe sister size, although I always have the problem with Panache bands running a bit large on me when compared to Cleo 30DD and other brands that I wear (B. Tempt'd by Wacoal, OnGossamer). This style doesn't come in 28 bands, or at least not in 28E, so I went with the sister size.

Luckily, this sister size fits well, though it is true that the band is a ... little large. I found the 3 piece cup to fit very similarly to somewhere between the 28E Cleo Marcie and 28E Cleo Kali. The only thing I felt was a little off about the fit is that the fullest part of the cup is proportioned a little off for me, as the fullest part of the cup hits me a little high. However, this is a minor quibble and overall the fit is pretty spot on if the band were a 28. I can wear it on the tightest hook though, and it stays in place, so it is workable, but definitely not what I would consider a snug band.

The cups are super pretty, made of the same soft mesh as Marcie/Lucy/Kali, but with a large scale all over floral embroidery. The embroidery style reminds me a bit of the Panache Loretta that I tried and ended up returning a few months ago. I think the styling is very delicate and elegant, and makes this bra the more sophisticated version of Marcie. The construction of the band, back, and straps is almost identical to Marcie, though the straps here have a gentle polka dot texture instead of the ribbed elastic on Marcie. I wish I could find it in the Ice Blue colorway as well, but sadly this is pretty difficult to find at this point. Highly recommended if you can find it!

I tried this bra in Nordstrom in Nov 2015, didn't purchase.
Love this colorway...the bottom of the cups fit strangely to me, top was fine.

The wires didn't feel too tall, but they likely would have been in the correct size. It's a shame because that color combo is to die for.

Pretty bra, nice projected shape and narrow wires, but I find that the thin mesh/lace fabric and embroidery doesn't work well with my soft breast tissue and causes in-cup quadboob.

The band run way too big on this bra, i guess it would fit 34 H comfortably. Very pretty pale blue colour. The bra has a soft inner mesh, pleasant on the skin.
I prefer Panache Jasmine or Andorra, Colette has a different cut. It makes my breast less rounded and more pointed forward.
In total the bra is too big for me.

I wear this in the Claret colorway for my more full days. The gore is higher than I like, which doesn't affect my comfort but may for others. Fits v well in my IMF even on my smaller days. Gives a lot of coverage and lift - a very high and moderately rounded look. Band is indeed stretchier/looser than average, but I don't feel the need to find a 30 band just yet. The claret color is kind of an ugly purple-ish compared to the stock photo

This actually fits me similarly to Cleo Marcie (think more people have said so, but I agree).
While I have a couple of issues, I'm still pleased with this bra.

    - The cups come up pretty high, with the risk of fabric showing over low cut tops
    - Center gore is also a bit high and pokes me
    - Band is slightly larger than your average 30 band
    - larger cup fits great, but minor wrinkling on my smaller side.

I had the same gore trouble with Marcie, bending it outwards did help. So I'll try the same with Colette.
And while the band is less tight than my average bra, it's still supportive ... - more so than Marcie because of the 3 hooks.
Also as always, I would prefer closer set straps, but the chafing seems minimal (after 1 full day of wearing).

+ General shape is good! Up front and rounded (:
    + Really love the color
    + Quite comfortable to wear

Edit: more cons than pros for this bra, I should sell it. Noticed a pretty bad projection issue.
    - Not enough projection; wires won't stay in IMF
    - Cup edge has zero stretch / give, causing some quad risk
