    Didn't fit

This review is for the Panache Andorra Full Cup in 34GG. My ABTF size is 32G/GG (or more) depending on projection.

    Band:
    * Measured from 28.5 to 32 before the wires started spreading. As a 34 label I'd say this might run a bit small. You absolutely can stretch it more - but you might distort the wire size a little.

    Wires:
    * Very firm.

    Cups:
    * Have a mesh inner side sling. Looks like a half cup to me.

    Fabric:
    * Very comfortable.

About me: very close set (breasts touch), very narrow roots, very projected at the wire, functionally even to full on bottom, short roots, relatively soft tissue, significant rib flares, narrow shoulders.

    FIT

    * The band ... length was great when I tried it on upside down and backwards, I think it stretched easily.
    * The gore tacked nicely. It was tall for me, but fine. I found the separation at 7/8ths of an inch to be a little wide for me, so would want to alter them to overlap.
    * The cups seem to have the right volume for me, and the tops actually laid down perfectly. The wires are not narrow enough for me and it does not have enough immediate projection for me. The seams do show under a thin shirt as you can see in my pics. It does give a nice shape for me.
    * The straps are long enough, but I'm quite short at 5'4.
    * The sides are too high for me but that might be because they come too far back rather than actual height.

    OVERALL IMPRESSION
    * This bra is beautiful even though I don't normally like lace. I love how the tops of the cups fit me. I just need a ton more immediate projection and significantly more narrow wires.

I got this bra from Sonya - thank you!
This is my second bra in this size and it's the black colourway. I sort of spoiled the surprise for myself by snatching the magenta one up on sale. While they both are a great fit (best so far, along with my 30FF - Panache » Loretta Plunge (6686) ) this colour, while measuring tighter, feels the perfect amount of snug. The wires rode down after an hour or so and threw everything out of alignment, but I hiked it back up and felt comfortable again.
This is still being made as far as I know ... which is good news since the Loretta is discontinued. It seems to be out of stock in my size almost everywhere but it might just be about to release a new season.
I noticed in the pictures that the lace on the band wants to flip up, so I guess I'll just let it https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />
Both colours fit exactly the same in the cup - laying flat across the top, enough projection, extra space in the bottom and sides, gapping in the straps when I slouch. This one is a little easier to move in, but that might be I hiked it back up when it slid down whereas when the magenta one slid down I reacted with confusion and eventually changed.
All in all Panache has been a series of wins for now - could be I find something without these small issues farther down the road but quite happy and comfy https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> not a sleep bra by any means but a sexy, natural-looking everyday bra. Hopefully they'll last a long time, and when my size is back in stock for a decent price I am hoping to get a pearl or nude-to-beige colour.

    • I'm so glad it fits. It looks great on you!

    • It looks good but maybe something about the side view like you said. I’m wondering if it’s either too closed off on top or if you need a bit more room in the cups. I’m leaning towards taller roots. Maybe post a fit check?

    • 1

      Thanks Sonya!!
Calluna I just might! I could use some help.

    • 2

Tall roots. To me it looks like your roots are going up toward your collar bone. If you pick your boobs up and hold them up do you have any kind of distinct line? Short roots kind of look like a lower case b from the side.

    • 1

Sovavosi wow I had no idea, but looking at them now I can see what you mean. I have a lot of, how do I say it politely, extra skin :D when I pick up my right boob especially it's a pancake, and folds pretty much where the lace in the picture cuts me off. I've had such bad self esteem throughout my teens and 20s (had to delete my rambling here) but something about nicer fitting bras is really helping me start my 30-mumbles the right way.
So might be sagging convinced me there was less boob than there was..

Does this picture help at all?

Actually it does. Earlier when I was on reddit I glanced at this but after a closer look I can see the line on the tall root goes all the way up the ribcage. That looks like mine.

    • 1

Welcome to the Tall Roots team! :D I'm glad you're happy with the bra but Ive had same issue with Andorra and personally decided never to have one as there are other that fits me better!
Im similar size to you - 30FF/32E-F. if you would like some recommendations on which bras works better with tall roots feel free to message me :)

    • Cute one ! Deliciously retro shape and upper lace trim. A bit reminescent of how balconettes used to look back then.

As for lastng, a gentle wash every second day should take care of sweat deposits which have the reputation to damage elastc fabrics.

    • I really liked the Andorra, I found them to be pretty and comfortable! If you decide you want more keep an eye on eBay! I have tall roots too, your pictures look like you do.

    • Haha, thanks :) femineaaeterna I never knew that's why you hand-wash, I'll do that more often now! I do like the shape. martka00 lol I've already messaged you questions ! veggiechic I might just buy a few more as soon as I see white/pearl/pink/nude on ebay/amazon/here for under $25. No clue why amazon has some sizes $15 and some $200.
I found that yesterday I was switching back and forth between the two bras because the wires are different kinds of firm. Suppose that is because they haven't been broken in.

    • namedoesntmatter really? :D cannot remember hahah!

    • martka00 lol I meant today! whoops!

    • namedoesntmatter i did not get anything yet :-)

This bra's too big in the cup for me, which I expected. There's no wrinkling in the top but the underwires are way too far down and dig in to my ribs. I wore it for a couple hours and gave up. The color is really gorgeous though. It has 3 rows of hooks and my 28G has 2, which was interesting. The gore felt higher too. I'll release this one into the wild.

This bra was my first step into finding a bra that actually fits! It's comfortable, pretty, and creates an amazing shape. The only major downside is that it can look rather pointy under clothes. But other than that, it's an amazing bra.

This bra is very comfortable and I love how full coverage it is. It really reduces the jiggle that comes with very soft breast tissue and I feel fairly well supported for such a lacy bra. The stretch lace is amazing- it makes both cups fit really well and my marked asymmetry barely noticeable. No matter how I move my body, there is zero quadding and zero gapping on either side. It's genius. The dark red lace is gorgeous and the band is small enough for me. The cups are definitely wider than I need, but the wires aren't stabbing or digging in anywhere. The gore starts feeling pokey, but only after about 4 hours, and a cotton ball does the trick. My least favourite thing about this bra is the somewhat pointed profile it gives me. I prefer a very rounded look. My breasts are short rooted, narrow, centre full & pendulous.

This looks really good on you. The colour looks great on your skin tone. It doesn't look pointy to me, just more natural shaped... and it looks rounded under your shirt.

    • 2

Thanks, Wilderness. I agree, it looks less pointy under a shirt. I'm pretty happy with it.

    • I’ve been told that it’s a pointy bra and have stayed away from it but sometimes I think I might be ok with it if I just wore it under my work uniform for the pharmacy because my scrubs top is pretty loose and shapeless on top anyway. I think that I would be able to get away with this one or Clara if I found a really cheap 30FF.

    • Calluna- I tried Jasmine in a 28G, and it fit pretty well but was very pointy. This is definitely less pointy. I like this Andorra a lot more than I expected.

    • Good to know. I have Great front views in Jasmine and Envy but side view is pointy on both. Envy is worse. Clara was not as bad, and Olivia is quite nice but high gore.

I remember it feeling great in store, maybe even for the first few wears, but it got unbearably uncomfortable soon after. The fabric seems too stretchy and as a result your breast tissue stops being supported and shifts within the cups - while I can comfortably fill the cup when getting dressed I'm soon faced with quad boob and empty space at the bottom of the cup. Then there's the underwires... within a few hours wear they're grinding against my ribcage and poke my armpit on the side of my smaller breast to the point I can't bear to wear it anymore.

I tried this bra in pearl and first off may I say this is a beautiful creamy pink color. Second, this is a completely unlined bra with side support panels but all the fabric and the lace is quite soft, though can be prone to snags if you have dry scratchy hands like me. The top of the cup is stretch lace, so it does a good job even with mild-moderate asymmetry. The only thing I didn't like about this bra was that it still did not have enough immediate projection for me so the underwire ends up sliding down about an inch below my IMF to accommodate. This bra is probably ideal for someone with narrow roots but more average projection.

If there's one thing I really need to say about this bra, it's wow, these WIRES are huge! The gore and the sides are tall. The cup is quite shallow at the bottom, and the stretch lace at the top will accommodate top fullness.

Sept 2018 update: As I've worn this bra more, and as I've gotten used to wearing bras that really fit well, Andorra has become a favourite. I have grown accustomed to the tall wires and don't have a problem wearing it all day. Despite my early issues with Andorra, it has become a gold standard to which my other bras are held: do I fill the cup as well in x as I do in Andorra? Does this bra hold my tissue like Andorra? Is is as comfortable? The stretch lace panel on the top of the cup is still my favourite thing about this bra and a ... hallmark advantage for me, because it creates an illusion of fit, even if the top shape wasn't built exactly for my breasts. It truly is made to last, and it has a place in my heart now, even if the wires ARE a bit tall!

I want to love Andorra. I really do. But man, it--it being the bra--can be pretty tough. Panache underwires are very firm, and I have a lot of squish, so my squish gets poked a lot. In part, though, this is because the underwires are very tall on both ends. The poking was much worse before I bent the ends outward, to alleviate some of the pressure on my sternum and under my armpits. I still get marks on my chest from the gore, but for the most part, I'm no longer stabbed constantly.
Now, for all the good, and why I still wear this bra a lot: beyond the wires, Andorra is so comfortable! The lace cups and the mesh band are both really, really soft, and I am all in on a stretchy lace top of the cup. The stretch is very forgiving for FOT breasts, since the stretch creates a customized fit. The shape Andorra gives is not the most rounded look I've ever seen, and the seams might show through slightly on the cups. I own the pearl colorway, and it's very pretty--much more beautiful than it looks in model photos. There's only one bow on the bra, and it's more substantial than most accent bows I've seen on bras. The top edge of the cup is scalloped in a beautiful, detailed way. The straps are soft and easy to adjust, and they have extra padding on the front half, though that means it's probably very hard to adjust the straps all the way to the top of the cup. Andorra is very well constructed and made to last.
Overall, Andorra's a solid bra. I wish Panache would bring back the plunge--I'd love to try out a version of Andorra with shorter wires.

The stretch lace might fool me into thinking this bra fits, but the gore does not tack, it is actually floating a good inch from my sternum and the wires are jutting into my centre breast tissue. It seems there is not enough depth at the gore for my centre fullness. This bra is also uncomfortable to wear, the wires feel too stiff and wide and they are poking me under my arms and pushing into my chest in my imf.
