I got this bra from Sonya - thank you!
This is my second bra in this size and it's the black colourway. I sort of spoiled the surprise for myself by snatching the magenta one up on sale. While they both are a great fit (best so far, along with my 30FF - Panache » Loretta Plunge (6686) ) this colour, while measuring tighter, feels the perfect amount of snug. The wires rode down after an hour or so and threw everything out of alignment, but I hiked it back up and felt comfortable again.
This is still being made as far as I know ... which is good news since the Loretta is discontinued. It seems to be out of stock in my size almost everywhere but it might just be about to release a new season.
I noticed in the pictures that the lace on the band wants to flip up, so I guess I'll just let it https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />
Both colours fit exactly the same in the cup - laying flat across the top, enough projection, extra space in the bottom and sides, gapping in the straps when I slouch. This one is a little easier to move in, but that might be I hiked it back up when it slid down whereas when the magenta one slid down I reacted with confusion and eventually changed.
All in all Panache has been a series of wins for now - could be I find something without these small issues farther down the road but quite happy and comfy https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> not a sleep bra by any means but a sexy, natural-looking everyday bra. Hopefully they'll last a long time, and when my size is back in stock for a decent price I am hoping to get a pearl or nude-to-beige colour.

    • I'm so glad it fits. It looks great on you!

    • It looks good but maybe something about the side view like you said. I’m wondering if it’s either too closed off on top or if you need a bit more room in the cups. I’m leaning towards taller roots. Maybe post a fit check?

    • 1

      Thanks Sonya!!
Calluna I just might! I could use some help.

    • 2

Tall roots. To me it looks like your roots are going up toward your collar bone. If you pick your boobs up and hold them up do you have any kind of distinct line? Short roots kind of look like a lower case b from the side.

    • 1

Sovavosi wow I had no idea, but looking at them now I can see what you mean. I have a lot of, how do I say it politely, extra skin :D when I pick up my right boob especially it's a pancake, and folds pretty much where the lace in the picture cuts me off. I've had such bad self esteem throughout my teens and 20s (had to delete my rambling here) but something about nicer fitting bras is really helping me start my 30-mumbles the right way.
So might be sagging convinced me there was less boob than there was..

Actually it does. Earlier when I was on reddit I glanced at this but after a closer look I can see the line on the tall root goes all the way up the ribcage. That looks like mine.

    • 1

Welcome to the Tall Roots team! :D I'm glad you're happy with the bra but Ive had same issue with Andorra and personally decided never to have one as there are other that fits me better!
Im similar size to you - 30FF/32E-F. if you would like some recommendations on which bras works better with tall roots feel free to message me :)

    • Cute one ! Deliciously retro shape and upper lace trim. A bit reminescent of how balconettes used to look back then.

As for lastng, a gentle wash every second day should take care of sweat deposits which have the reputation to damage elastc fabrics.

    • I really liked the Andorra, I found them to be pretty and comfortable! If you decide you want more keep an eye on eBay! I have tall roots too, your pictures look like you do.

    • Haha, thanks :) femineaaeterna I never knew that's why you hand-wash, I'll do that more often now! I do like the shape. martka00 lol I've already messaged you questions ! veggiechic I might just buy a few more as soon as I see white/pearl/pink/nude on ebay/amazon/here for under $25. No clue why amazon has some sizes $15 and some $200.
I found that yesterday I was switching back and forth between the two bras because the wires are different kinds of firm. Suppose that is because they haven't been broken in.

    • namedoesntmatter really? :D cannot remember hahah!

    • martka00 lol I meant today! whoops!

    • namedoesntmatter i did not get anything yet :-)

The upper lace section is very stretchy, so it is forgiving for full on top boobs. It does cut in on my boobs though, but that's because the bra is small for my size. I should have gone for 28G instead. On me the shape is pointy, but not so much under a shirt. The band is firm. The centre gore lies flat on my sternum. The straps are adjustable all the way, so that's nice. All in all it's a lovely bra if you got it in your correct size.

Update: of course I grew even more since this bra was deemed Unfit For Use, added the new measurements into bratabase.
BB now thinks I should try this in 28G. Right. The one style that's been completely contrarian by squashing and sagging at once /facepalm.

Edit: I was Today Years Old, when a helpful poster here enlightened me.
Just as 'Side Support' is not code for 'Good for super side full'; 'Full Coverage' is NOT code for 'Good for really full breasts'. God how I HATE bra advertising they are such asshats. Anyways, on to the review...

This one and ... their Ana kept coming up in the back of my mind of potential suspects for short/even on top/fob/side full containment, when compared to other styles, somehow never crossed them off the list. Because of course, it's been a better performer than a whole LOT of other things in the market. Maybe this time?

    We knew better and yet...

    Here we are again, chat.

How many times am I going to have to learn the hard way. If it says side support the only thing it's gonna support, is the brand's profit line.

This fit in this one screams in capital italics: 'There is literally nothing for every-immediate-depth-on-earth level, generally full people'. I don't know guys, are all bras only for extremely soft malleable tissue? is there not a support option for well rounded figures? What. Is. Going. On. Out. Here.
Because I'm old, ready to size ///down/// to something sane, after having to size up a trillion cups; and beyond tired of this exact same fit in everything.

While the cups shape is not painful (rare), it feels uncomfortable/off and is beyond fugly: bunching, stretching, straining, fussing around my breasts and generally acting insane. Baggy just above the center, while being just barely deep enough for my wildly shallow inner breast, then lower cup pushes my underboob upward where is spills horizontally- where there was already no room to spare on either side, & forces more pressure into the armpit and gore (certainly never lifting anything up to create any kind of roundness that would fill out the weirdly tight &flat nasty upper band with it's pinching strip of sharp elastic!).
The lower part of the cup is much smaller than the same size lower cup pieces in a few similar patterns I've bought, just narrower, shorter, pointier, all of it. The gappy shape above nips is a narrow, frown-shaped crescent that sags, between the lower and upper parts of the cup. Any material that is pushed below cannot go pulled up for long, as it shifts right back down with a speed that rivals a cat in a rainstorm.
All sides around the cup are tight and cut in for a couple inches inward from hems to just above center where upper and lower cup join, and almost look like they should have a little baggy extra space, but it's just much too shallow and somewhat tall so that area pulls taut & sags down, or flips up. Thankfully my completely pancaked lower breast does not reach high enough to create classic madonna cones in that pouch, as has happened with some other designs (typical fit in chantelle, fantasie, cleo etc etc).
I want to blame the wire for the ill fit in the cup, because my god what ails these things!? However I'm not angry at them as they neither sit on my boobs or push the cup away from them, for once it's not their size or shape (must be that these are those high octane, ultra-reinforced rebar type).
The frame of the bra is also perfect in fit and width, but the decorative lace band flops up and proves itself utterly useless.

Material is soft, pretty as in images, is not especially durable and I know from many years working with lingerie textiles this will pill and the elastane yarns will snap leaving nasty looking little dingy strings all over the upper. The cup's construction is light airy and delicate-looking rather than heavy duty stoic as the panels would suggest. I 'd rather not nitpick the straps and band to death but they carry a decidedly matronly, dowdy sort of energy when paired with the pretty 'minecraft status effect' design lace. I'm fantastically irate about the miserly little hooks. There's something almost spiteful about the panache will to at once acknowledge yes, we will be creating a large enough cup, while also flipping us the bird and use these consistently insecure, weird cheapo kooky closures.

I have two of these in 28FF and I like them! This one is the magenta colourway. I'm in love with the cute stretch lace and satin bow and the "perky" shape I get. This is supposedly a full cup bra but doesn't feel stuffy. The two colours measure and feel a bit differently - this one had much stiffer underwires and rode down, making it feel a little too snug despite measuring an inch longer laid flat. I lasted an hour or two before changing to the black one. Maybe it will bend around my ribcage.
Even though there is room at the bottom and sides the ... bra gives lots of lift and has my breasts right where I'd like them to be. There's something going on above the lace, but I'm not sure it's quadboob so much as just chest tissue. After some reading I wonder if I have short roots. Another telltale sign of short roots seems to be the gapping I have at the straps when I roll my shoulders forward.
This has a nice low profile under a tshirt.
The centre gore is a little itchy - just the magenta one as far as I can tell! The lace on the band flips up, which I don't notice until I take pictures.

I think you have very tall roots! The lace cuts in slightly to those tall roots but no worries if that doesn’t bother you! It looks lovely on you, great color.

Thank you so much cupandahalf , shape is confusing as heck :P projection, fullness and root height/width are presenting a learning curve. Even though that's probably right what matters is I feel good and thanks for the compliment!

    • I also went through the same process of trying different sizes of Andorra trying to find my best fit, and she's a tricky one! I have the same colorway you do, and it's a pretty color :)

Given that you have tall roots and Andorra is just not a very forgiving shape, have you tried the Envy? I feel that it might be a better fit for you, because Envy's stretch lace cups are really forgiving in my experience. Even though the lace pattern is different, I feel that it gives a similar overall appearance.

Other suggestion would be to scour Ebay or Amazon for the Andorra Plunge, which has a different cup construction and won't give you that closed-off top. Sadly it's discontinued, but you can still find several floating around.

    • belleandblues that's a good idea. I'll keep an eye out for the plunge! Now that you mention it I have a 28G Envy that's in rotation and seems to fit well on top. I'll have to see when I wear it again if that's the same for me too. It's obviously the wrong size but the band fits and the stretchy lace makes it work somehow. That's another one I plan to keep an eye on for internet sales.

    • namedoesntmatter I just got my Andorra Plunge today in my normal Andorra Full Cup size, 28DD. I can tell you that the cups fit pretty TTS compared to Andorra Full Cup, but the band runs a little smaller. This band is less than 1/2" on the flat too small, and it's distorting the underwires and making them dig in! So, I am going to sister size up to a 30D. If you order Andorra Plunge, keep this in mind.

I think 28FF Envy would fit pretty similarly to your current Andorra! Hope it works out for you. I love the Panache stretch lace, it's so comfortable :)

    • Oh, that's good to know belleandblues . Me too, it's so nice.

    • So I'd probably be fine ordering a 30F if I see one. And I'd really like a nude Panache Envy. I'd better remember to take pictures next time I wear my 28G

    • Actually, I checked the measurements. 28FF’s stretched band is 0.8” longer than mine, and your ribcage is about 0.7” smaller than mine, so I think 28FF would be fine for you in Andorra Plunge, but if you feel 28FF already feels snug to you, 30F would probably work better. I think the Andorras fit really similarly in the cups across sister sizes, so it’s really just about the band. I knew before I ordered it that the band was a little smaller in the Plunge, but I didn’t think it would be so small it would cause me fit issues! I am usually in between 28 and 30 bands though depending on fit and style, but you seem more like a true 28.

The cup is really nice though, and the bottom curved portion is a little taller on the Plunge. It doesn’t project out as severely as regular Andorra, so the shape of the bra cup is naturally more round than conical.

I don’t think the lace top cup would cut into your tall roots at all because the cup is not closed at the top. I really do not know why they discontinued this style!

    • belleandblues in any case, I could use an extender if the 28's too tight. It's a beautiful bra :) - why indeed!

This is a pretty nice bra. The lace is a little scratchy (but it's new) and it contains things pretty well considering it's a thin and lacy bra. It fits my smaller breast really well but is a bit too small on my larger one and cuts in. The shape it gives me is slightly pointy, but not too bad. I will keep an eye out for the 28G to come on sale on Amazon and will be keeping this one in hopes of losing a few pounds.

    Fits

This bra looks very delicate and feminine. The lace cups are half lined, so though the lace is a bit stretchy the cups don't have too much give. It's comfortable, and very flattering, not even a little itchy. Usually I need to bend underwires for them to follow the curve of my breast, with PE if the wires aren't right on top of each other the gore is usually too wide, but the underwires in this bra were surprisingly tensile. The wires shaped to the cure naturally and didn't require extra persuasion from me. I will definitely be buying this bra in all the colors.

Extreme torpedo appearance. My breasts are projected, center-full and FoT and this bra was very unflattering. Wires were too wide, the bottom appeared underfilled, and tissue was almost bursting out of the top.

I also found the band to be tighter than I prefer but not unwearable.

    Fits

This bra is probably my best fitting and most comfortable at the moment. This Black Andorra is slightly larger in the band and the cups than the Spice colourway (strange, I know), but that makes it suuuuper comfortable! The gore tacks well, it gives me a great shape (not super pointy), the wires are a great width for me, the straps stay on for the most part, and I love having two fuller-coverage bras when I just wanna feel really secure.
