    Didn't fit

So, this is a nope for me.

Unfortunate, because it's super cute. After I saw lcl0706's review of the black, I had to try the navy.
From the front, it's not bad. But from the side it gives this really unlovely shape. It sort of abruptly cuts in then pushes all my tissue down into a low rounded pointy shape.
It's also too wide and the wires would not even pretend to be friendly with my IMF.

No sir, I don't like it.

Anyway, it's really comfortable despite the shallowness. The band was a bit of a bear to fasten, but once on I didn't notice it much. I ... jumped around and bounced a bit and it didn't slide down more than it did initially and I didn't fall out with a bend and shake. So, it's friendly to soft tissue and good for active pursuits and not just tanning.

Despite my issues, it's a cute top and seems well made. I would suggest trying it especially since it's risk free on Amazon. I'm sending this back on Monday.

Oh noooes! I'm sorry it didn't work for you. It's too wide and shallow for me too but I don't have super high standards for a swim top. But I see what you mean by the cutting in on top. It looks like your roots are taller than what this swim top will allow :-( It is super cute though!!

My standards aren't that high either, but I have a Cleo Lucille on the way that was $11...so I'd probably overlook the same issues in it versus the $40 (not that that's much, but it's not $11!).
Some of it is breast tissue, but a lot of it is muscle. So I get that weird look. You know, I may get it in my J.Crew tops too. I just never photographed them so I wouldn't know.
I'm glad to have tried it, because it is cute and if it fit better or was cheaper, I'd likely keep it.

I totally get it! I had a gift card from my brother when I ordered mine so it only cost me $13 out of pocket. It does make a big difference in how picky you can be when you can try something else for way cheaper!

    • jlcl119,, I just got the 30F, navy, @Panache Britt Halter Swimsuit, the one piece version of your bandeau. It gives me the same squashed down bust shape. The wires dig in at the center gore, too, because I need very low center gores.

I was going to return it, but I noticed it flatters my front, back, and sides, except for the bust. I've wanted a long leg, vintage style one piece bathing suit for a long time. I didn't expect to find one that would suit my body type, but this one does. I'll model it for my bf to see if he agrees.

If he does, I've decided I'll remove the wires, take in the center gore area so the wire channels overlap the top three inches, insert a plunge bra's wires, and make sure they go all the way up the channels under the arms. I hope to achieve a shape resembling what I get from my Ewa Michalak 3Ds or my Masquerade Serenity Plunge. Those are moulded bras, though, so we'll see.

    • learningaboutbras Oh! Let me know how it goes, sounds like a good way to save a nice suit.
