Man, was this bra a disappointment! The styling is gorgeous, and I love the simplistic look and clean lines of the bra. The fabric is also incredibly soft, and just the right amount of transparent without screaming, "here's my nipples, world!"
While this technically fits in nearly every aspect (the straps are a bit too short for comfort, but alas these are the trials of someone who's 5'10" with a long torso), but the shape is a bit off. The best way to describe the shape this provides is.....torpedo. If you do a google search of the bra, you can see a few models wearing it, and they ... also get the torpedo shape. I think the top half is a bit too closed off, which forces the top half of the breast to push down, while the bottom half is pushed up from the wires and seam, which results in the odd torpedo. Poor bra is confusing my boobs!
As I said, this is super disappointing, because I otherwise LOVE this bra. The band is comfortable and firm. I don't even mind the 2 hooks, because it doesn't dig in at all, which generally happens when there are only 2 hooks. The fabric is luxurious and soft. The straps, though thin, are padded, and feel great. And I was/still am dying to try the high-waisted brief as part of the set.
I got this for a really good price (nearly half off retail), so I might keep it and hope it'll soften with wear and be less torpedo. But I also have something ridiculous like 30 bras in rotation right now, and the collection continues to grow.
